Covering the cases that need it most. Every life matters and everyone deserves justice.
The Least of These podcast is a captivating true crime podcast hosted by Leah Dee. With her passion for the victims and her comical wit, Leah keeps listeners engaged throughout each episode. The podcast covers cases that often go unnoticed or lack national attention, shedding light on these stories and advocating for justice.
One of the best aspects of this podcast is Leah's genuine contributions and smooth delivery. Her research is thorough, and she presents the cases in a compelling manner. Listeners often appreciate her storytelling abilities and find her voice to be soothing and engaging. Leah's dedication to researching each case ensures that the episodes are informative and intriguing.
Another positive aspect of The Least of These is the range of cases covered. From single-episode stories to multi-part series, the podcast offers a variety of content that caters to different interests. The in-depth coverage of cases like Willie Pickton provides listeners with a wealth of details, including insights into the background of criminals and humanizing their victims. This meticulous approach sets this podcast apart from others in the true crime genre.
While there are many positives to this podcast, there are also some areas for improvement. Some listeners find certain episodes to be repetitive or dragged out due to excessive parts or repeated information. They suggest condensing the stories and eliminating unnecessary repetition to maintain a more concise narrative flow.
Additionally, there have been comments about side stories in certain episodes that can make it difficult to follow the timeline or understand what's happening in the main case being discussed. Simplifying these narratives and ensuring clarity would enhance the listener experience.
In conclusion, The Least of These is an enjoyable true crime podcast led by an authentic and dedicated host, Leah Dee. Her commitment to covering overlooked cases while advocating for justice resonates with listeners who appreciate her attention to detail. Though there are suggestions for improvement regarding repetition and narrative clarity, overall, this podcast offers intriguing content worth exploring for true crime fans.

Six weeks after Laureen Rahn vanished from her apartment in Manchester, on June 8th of 1980, 25-year-old Denise Daneault disappeared after spending a night out at a social club. For years investigators didn't take her disappearance seriously. Vacuum marks, a brightly colored blanket, and Christmas tinsel. In November of 2007, 68-year-old, Sara Dixon was found shot to death inside her home in Burlington, North Carolina. From the moment investigators arrived at the home on McCray Road it appeared that the scene had been staged to look like a robbery gone wrong. While it appeared nothing of value had been taken, there were several clues left behind; Christmas tinsel stuck to the door, an empty picture hanger, and a footprint in the carpet. A year after Sara's murder a man walked into the police station and gave investigators a small piece of information that unraveled the entire case. Sponsors: OneSkin Age healthy with OneSkin.
