Following Jesus isn't a negotiation. We don't get to set the terms, hold onto certain parts of our lives or simply swap a few habits. Jesus came for our hearts, and His invitation is to surrender everything. In this message from Matthew 22, we're reminded that the question isn't just what we believe about Jesus, but whether He is truly Lord of our lives. When we stop playing games, stop negotiating and give it all back to Him, that's where true life is found.

What happens when religion gets in the way of redemption?  In Matthew 21:23–22:14, Jesus confronts the religious leaders through three powerful parables that expose the difference between simply looking religious and truly surrendering to Him. We see that salvation cannot be earned through good works or religious activity.  The invitation to the Kingdom is extended to everyone, but we must respond with repentance, faith, and surrender to Jesus.

What does your life reveal about whether you are truly following Jesus? In Matthew 21, Jesus exposes the difference between simply looking religious and living a faith that produces real fruit. Through His entry into Jerusalem, the cleansing of the temple, and the cursing of the fig tree, we see that following Jesus is more than showing up on Sunday or knowing the right answers.  It is a life of obedience, surrender, and genuine devotion to Him.

What does it really mean to be great in the Kingdom of God? In Matthew 20, Jesus completely redefines greatness. While the world measures success by position, possessions and power, Jesus shows us a different way. True greatness begins by bending our knee to Him, enduring pain with perseverance, living under godly authority and humbling ourselves to serve others. This message challenges us to examine what is truly first in our lives and reminds us that proximity to Jesus, not what we produce, determines Kingdom success. Following Jesus does not promise a life of comfort, but He faithfully walks with us through the pain and uses it to shape us. Jesus Himself is our ultimate example. He did not come to be served, but to serve and give His life as a ransom for many. In His Kingdom, greatness is not found by climbing over others to reach the top. It is found by lowering ourselves so we can lift others up.

What if the greatest obstacle to experiencing God's grace isn't your past, but your sense of entitlement? In Matthew 20, Jesus tells the Parable of the Workers in the Vineyard, revealing a powerful truth about the Kingdom of God. Salvation is never something we earn through our efforts. It is a gift freely given because of the generosity of our Heavenly Father. Whether you've followed Jesus for decades or surrendered your life to Him today, every believer stands on the same foundation of grace. In this message, Pastor Joby Martin challenges us to trade comparison for gratitude, entitlement for humility, and self-focus for worship. When we recognize that everything we have is a gift from God, we can celebrate His goodness in others and live with joyful gratitude instead of constant comparison. The Kingdom of God isn't about what you've earned. It's about what Jesus has already done.

What makes someone ready for the Kingdom of God? In Matthew 19, Jesus places two very different people side by side: little children with nothing to offer and a rich young ruler who seemingly has everything. Through these two encounters, we discover that God's Kingdom is not received through achievement, morality or self-reliance but through humble faith and complete surrender. In this message, Pastor One Mokgatle unpacks the contrast between these two stories, revealing that eternal life isn't earned by what we do but received through what Christ has already done.  The question isn't how much you've accomplished it's what you're trusting in. Will you come to Jesus with open hands like a child, or continue holding onto the things you believe will save you?

In Matthew 13, Jesus teaches through the parables of the weeds, the mustard seed, and the leaven to reveal what the Kingdom of God is really like. Through these parables, Jesus shows us that God is still at work even when we cannot fully see it. The enemy may sow confusion, pain, and destruction, but God's Kingdom continues to grow steadily, powerfully, and according to His perfect timing. What starts small can transform everything. The Kingdom of God is not built through fear, control, or human effort. It grows through the power and presence of Jesus working in and through His people. What did Jesus really mean when He said, “Judge not”? In Matthew 7, Jesus confronts the judgmental spirit that so easily takes root in our hearts and calls His followers to something better—a life marked by grace, humility, and discernment. In this message, we explore the difference between being judgmental and exercising biblical discernment, why dealing with the “log” in our own eye matters before pointing out the “speck” in someone else's, and how the grace of God transforms the way we see people. Ultimately, Jesus invites us to stop living as critics and start living as people shaped by grace. Through prayer, humility, and surrender to Christ, we can step off the broad road of pride and onto the narrow way that leads to life.

In Matthew 6, Jesus warns us to beware of practicing our righteousness to be seen by others, reminding us that with God it's not just what we do—it's why we do it.  Giving, praying, and fasting can either be acts of worship or subtle performances for applause, and while we all know we must repent of our wretchedness, Jesus confronts us with the deeper need to repent of religious righteousness rooted in image instead of intimacy. When the Father is our audience, generosity reorders our hearts, prayer becomes communion instead of performance, fasting trains us to say no to our flesh and yes to Jesus, and the true reward isn't recognition—it's Him.

What if your biggest struggle isn't your behavior but your heart? In this message from Matthew 5, Jesus raises the bar from external rule-following to heart-level transformation. Anger, lust, divorce, retaliation, enemy love—He exposes what's underneath it all and shows us that righteousness isn't earned, it's received. The gospel doesn't shame us into trying harder; it gives us a new heart and compels us to live differently because Christ first loved us. Are you trying to justify yourself or are you resting in the justification of Jesus?

When are people watching your life the most? Not when everything is going well—but when you walk through difficulty with a peace that doesn't make sense. In Matthew 5:13–20, Jesus reminds us that we are not just saved by grace—we are sent with purpose. You are the salt of the earth. You are the light of the world. Our lives should push back darkness and point people to Christ. So the question is: are you shining… or just sitting in the shaker?

Are you pursuing happiness—or the kind of blessing that can't be shaken? In this opening message of Matthew: Mountain to Mountain, Jesus ascends the mountain—not to give a new law, but to announce a blessing that changes everything. Through the Beatitudes, we discover that “blessed” doesn't mean comfortable, successful, or problem-free—it means anchored in the gospel, filled with a joy that circumstances can't steal. Jesus invites us to stop chasing temporary happiness and instead receive the eternal blessing that comes from knowing Him. Are you living your best life—or the blessed life only Jesus can give?

What if following Jesus isn't about learning more—but about leaving what's comfortable? Jesus begins His public ministry not from a place of striving, but from the Father's approval—and then He immediately goes to work. In Matthew 4, we see Jesus fulfill ancient prophecy, bring light into darkness, proclaim that the kingdom of heaven is here now, and call ordinary, unlikely people to join Him on a rescue mission for the world. This message challenges us to stop delaying the kingdom, to embody it by pushing back darkness with light, and to respond to Jesus' simple but costly invitation: “Follow Me.” From fishermen dropping their nets to crowds bringing their brokenness to Jesus, we're reminded that discipleship is not a spectator sport—it's a life of obedience, community, and mission. What might Jesus be asking you to lay down so you can take your next step of obedience?

What if the greatest spiritual battles you face aren't happening around you—but inside your mind? Right after His baptism, Jesus is led into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil—revealing a truth many of us learn the hard way: our deepest valleys often come on the heels of our highest spiritual moments. In Episode 3 of Heaven to Earth, we walk through Matthew 4 and uncover how the enemy works, why temptation doesn't disappear as you grow in Christ, and how Satan's primary strategy has always been the same—attacking your identity with lies. Through Scripture, Jesus shows us how to stand firm, renew our minds, and fight back with truth by declaring, “It is written.” What lies have you been believing—and what would change if you stood on God's truth instead of the whispers?

As Jesus steps into the Jordan to be baptized, we see the upside-down nature of God's kingdom on full display—where humility comes before power, obedience before recognition, and identity before performance. From repentance and fruit-bearing faith to sanctification, salvation, and the refining fire of the Holy Spirit, this passage invites us to re-examine how we're doing life and whose way we're truly following. John prepared the way for Jesus' first coming—and now we are called to prepare people for His return. What if eternity isn't escaping this world—but living in a resurrected one, fully renewed by Jesus? For many of us, our childhood picture of heaven looked more like floating on clouds than living in a place that feels real, physical, and gloriously renewed. But Scripture tells a far better story. In Revelation 21, we're given a vision of where everything is ultimately headed—a new heaven and a new earth where Jesus reigns, peace is complete, perfection is normal, and God Himself dwells personally with His people. In this message, we trace the arc from Christmas to eternity, from the birth of Jesus to His promised return. You'll learn what the Bible actually teaches about heaven, resurrection, and the future God has secured for those who trust in Jesus. No more fear. No more pain. No more distance between us and God. What if the miracle you're searching for this Christmas isn't found in magic, movies, or moments—but in a Person who came on a rescue mission for you? Christmas Eve reminds us of the stories we love—families reunited, wrongs made right, purpose restored. But the real miracle of Christmas isn't nostalgia or sentimentality. It's Jesus: fully God, fully man, the Messiah who came to reconcile us to the Father. In this powerful message, Pastor Joby walks through John 1 and the breathtaking reality of the Word becoming flesh—the God who spoke the universe into existence becoming small enough for us to know. Jesus came lowly and gentle, not with magic but with authority, compassion, and purpose. He thirsted, yet walked on water. He bled, yet healed with a touch. He died, yet rose again—so that we could have peace with God. If you've ever wondered whether God is both big enough to rule the cosmos and personal enough to love you, this message is for you. What if the most “overlooked” man in the Christmas story is actually one of the most important—and shows us what biblical manhood really looks like? Simeon isn't usually the first name we think of in the Christmas story, but his life gives us one of the clearest pictures of what a real man looks like—righteous, devout, Spirit-filled, hope-driven, Christ-centered, and a blessing to others. As we close out our year of focusing on biblical manhood, we're invited to look deeper: What do we see in Simeon that points us to what a real man truly is? In this week's message, Pastor Adam walks through Luke 2 and shows how Simeon's life wasn't defined by his own strength or status, but by the only One who is the perfect Real Man—Jesus. Because Jesus is the Savior, Salvation Himself, the Revealer of hearts, the Resurrected One, the Strong and Wise God-Man, we can become the men—and women—God calls us to be.

What if the greatest gift of Christmas isn't something you give or receive—but the One you choose to bow down to? The Magi traveled nearly 800 miles on little more than a prophecy and a star, believing that if the promised King had truly come, He was worth seeking at all costs. In Week 3 of Real Men of Christmas, we look at these wise men—not for their crowns or status, but for their posture. While Herod clung tightly to his own throne and the religious leaders stayed comfortable in tradition, the Magi refused to miss Jesus. They followed God's prompting, bowed before the true King, and opened their treasures in extravagant worship. Pastor Joby unpacks why their response still matters today: because every one of us approaches Jesus like Herod, the religious leaders, or the Magi. And the gifts we bring reveal what we believe about Him—our King, our Christ, our Savior. As we celebrate Christmas and partner with Compassion International to love “the least of these,” this message invites us to examine our hearts, our worship, and the direction of our lives. What gift will you bring to Jesus this Christmas—and which direction will He lead you next?

In Luke 2:8–20, the first people to hear about the birth of Jesus weren't the powerful or prestigious—they were shepherds keeping watch in the dark. In this message, we look at how God used these unnoticed, rugged men to teach us what real strength looks like: staying alert, recognizing our desperate need for a Savior, obeying quickly when God speaks, and returning changed because of an encounter with Jesus. The shepherds didn't just hear the good news—they moved with haste, shared what they had seen, and worshiped with transformed hearts.
