Bill opened the show by making the case as to why Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin should stay in Oxford before diving into which NFL head coaches are in danger of losing their jobs at the end of the season. Start/Bench/Cut was next as Bill ranked which quarterback he would trust the most to win a game, the worst parts of Thanksgiving and the most prestigious position in sports. Hour two kicked off with Super Bowl champion Brady Poppinga joining the show to discuss if he believes the College Football Playoff committee got the latest batch of rankings right and how the Steelers should handle Aaron Rodgers' wrist injury. Buy or Sell was next as Bill answered if Shedeur Sanders will throw for at least 200 yards in his first career start, if Alabama has a bigger gripe with the CFP committee than Miami and if Bill Belichick and Jordon Hudson are in love. The show ended with Bill crushing the CFP committee for favoriting Notre Dame over both Miami and Alabama.

Leroy tries to convince Tobin and Brittney that Notre Dame deserves to be higher than the Canes in the College Football Playoff, Tobin is neither impressed nor hearing it. The gang is then joined by Radio Play by Play announcer Doug Plagens; he talks about how fun the back to back Stanley Cup runs have been to call, the teams struggles and hopes for a threepeat! And of course Leroy asks him all his pressing and ridiculous Hockey questions that he claims Tobin will never answer

Bill opened the show by reacting to the Colts trading for Sauce Gardner and explained why he doesn't think the move will ultimately work before discussing the biggest error he believes the College Football Playoff committee made in their initial batch of rankings. Start/Bench/Cut was next as Bill ranked the best dance moves and the greatest current champions in sports. Hour two started with David Samson joining the show to breakdown what the Dodgers repeating as World Series champions means for baseball moving forward. Buy or Sell was next as Bill answered if the Bengals made a mistake in not trading Trey Hendrickson at the trade deadline and if the Big Ten will have more teams in the College Football Playoff than the SEC. The show ended with Bill taking a call on Notre Dame's ranking and explained why the Fighting Irish will never join a conference.

Episode No. 8 of the Irish Illustrated Interviews podcast series features linebacker Jaylon Smith, a high school and collegiate Butkus Award winner, a two-time All-American at Notre Dame, and a 10-year NFL veteran. He played for the Fighting Irish from 2013 to 2015, leading Notre Dame in tackles and havoc plays in his final season as a junior, a campaign that ended with a trip to the Fiesta Bowl against Ohio State. Unfortunately, in the loss to the Buckeyes, Smith also suffered a devastating injury, tearing his ACL and LCL and enduring significant nerve damage. As a result, he fell from a projected top-five pick to an early second-round selection, with several teams unsure if he'd be able to play football again. Nevertheless, Smith preserved. After sitting out his rookie year with the Dallas Cowboys, he returned to the gridiron a season later and eventually became a Pro Bowler in the midst of a decade-long NFL career. Our conversation spans his entire playing career. Hour two opened with Bill chatting with Ari Meirov of The 33rd Team about if the Colts are legit, the Giants defensive collapse and if Tua can resurrect his career. Buy or Sell was next as Bill answered if Florida is the best college football head coach opening, if the Jaguars are still a playoff contender and if the Blue Jays will win Game 7 of the ALCS. The show ended with Bill explaining why he doesn't believe Tua will be able to turn his career around.
