The Jazz Chat with saxophonist Tim Cunningham
From Texas emerges a songbird that is creating quite a loud buzz in the city of Houston and beyond. Trinitialanna has been working on her gift of singing and songwriting since she was seemingly a toddler. Always willing to perform whether in choirs or working out with her vocal coach Mr. Joseph Rawley formerly of The University Of Houston. Trinitialanna has received attention for her quick ability to create hooks for various singers and rappers from her city on a whim while adding her unique vocal range to their studio sessions. Now stepping out to pursue her own goals with her EP and upcoming debut album she wants to bring her music and stories to life. From her own experiences and others seen through her own eyes she writes from perspectives that mostly everyone can relate to. “As far I can remember I've been ready to sing” she excitedly explains. Trinitialanna or Lana to her friends says optimism and determination has been her pull towards her blossoming music career. At only 17 she's ready to impact the world with her talent. “I want to sing and create music for generations to enjoy and hopefully follow in the footsteps of some of the great artists that have influenced me”. https://www.podserve.fm/w/yayadiamond

Marvelous Siren. Every inch of her being creates ripples, From her toes to her head indoctrinates. Her voluptuous lips are a temptation, Her eyes a true fascination. The breasts heaving with each breath so sublime, That waist I want to grab as I pull her close. The swerve of her hips and butt, As those marvelous legs stroll along. The arch of her calves call to me, As she steps past with her manicured toes. This vision of beauty that captured me, This Siren that has my heart racing. Pontiak

Laura is joined by celebrated academic, organizer, and advocate Professor Kimberlé Williams Crenshaw, who is perhaps best known for coining the term intersectionality. And later in the show Laura is joined by Tarso Ramos of Political Research Associates, a human rights think tank that studies threats to democracy coming from various right wing sources, to discuss what all of us need to know about the women's agenda of the Alt Right, and what sets the alt-right apart from other conservative factions. The answer might surprise you. Music featured in this weeks show includes "Human Family" by Maya Angelou from her final album "Caged Bird Songs released on Smooth Music inc; "Make It Better" by Raul Midon from his album entitled "Don't Hesitate" released on Mac Avenue Records; and "Jungle Fever" by Bacao Rhythm & Steel Band from their album "55" released on Brooklyn's Big Crown Records.
Open Up To Me. I want you to be open with me, Bring to the table an honest heart. Hide not your faults or your desires, Talk with me about your dreams. Express your innermost hopes, Trust me enough to bare your soul. Show me your confidence in my love, Open your arms to my embrace. Be willing to expose your vulnerabilities, Trust that I will be your strong armor. In return I shall be there for you, Through all the storms and quakes. Through all the trials and tears, My shoulder will be your strong oak. My love is undying and granite, Yet my heart for you is soft velvet. Come with me and invest in us, Love has bridged our differences. Together we shall be unstoppable, Strong, dedicated, passionate, invincible. Walk as my equal and my other half, Ever United in our love and passion. Pontiak

Join Carl Pontiak on CRS Radio Show for a saturday morning of smooth music. "Some Kind Of Wonderful" By Grand Funk Railroad I don't need a whole lots of money, I don't need a big fine car. I got everything that a man could want, I got more than I could ask for. I don't have to run around, I don't have to stay out all night. 'Cause I got me a sweet... a sweet, lovin' woman, And she knows just how to treat me right. Well my baby, she's alright, Well my baby, she's clean out-of-sight. Don't you know that she's... she's some kind of wonderful. She's some kind of wonderful... yes she is, she's, She's some kind of wonderful, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeahhh... When I hold her in my arms, You know she sets my soul on fire. Oooh, when my baby kisses me, My heart becomes filled with desire. When she wraps her lovin' arms around me, About drives me out of my mind. Yeah, when my baby kisses me, Chills run up and down my spine. My baby, she's alright, My baby, she's clean out-of-sight. Don't you know that she is... she's some kind of wonderful. She's some kind of wonderful... yes she is, She's some kind of wonderful, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeahhh... Now is there anybody, got a sweet little woman like mine? There got to be somebody, got a, got a sweet little woman like mine? Yeah! Can I get a witness? Can I get a witness? Can I get a witness? Yeah... Can I get a witness? Ohhh... Can I get a witness? Yeah... Can I get a witness? Yes.

Timotha Lanae is an American soul songstress, a dynamic dancer and an award winning theatrical performer who seamlessly joins together her passion for music and theater. Born and raised in Minneapolis, USA, Timotha Lanae is one of the most prominent and significant artists to emerge from the post – Prince era Minneapolis music scene. Named after her father, Timothy, Timotha credits his rich musical collection as being responsible for her love of music. She grew up listening to her father's music collection of 50's legends, the Motown artists of the 60's, the R&B/funk/gospel artists of the 70's and the Minneapolis sound of the 80's. The first track on her debut album RED, Smooth Music, describes her sound as “A touch of Jazz, R&B, Soul and Hip Hop too, I mix these all together to make my grooves…”. Timotha Lanae wrote ten of the 12 songs on her debut album RED. RED is a two-part project that bridges the gap between the record industry and musical theater. Timotha Lanae drew inspiration from every day life to write her singles – Radio, Talkin' To Myself, People Pleaser, Gettin' To Know You and My Man. Please Pleaser reached number #6 on the UK Soul Charts. Timotha Lanae is the brainchild behind the concepts of her music videos. In the music videos for Talkin To Myself and People Pleaser, she bridges the gap between her love of theater and recording by incorporating her original musical REDdington into the storyline. She portrays herself in these videos, while also portraying, Eva Reddington, the main character from her original musical REDdington.
