Recently, Stacy Haiduk's portrayal of Kristen DiMera has been receiving much attention. However, Kristen's relentless pursuit of Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) is proving to be a fruitless endeavor. Despite the on-screen chemistry between Kristen and Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) fans are not convinced by their potential pairing. Critics suggest that Kristen should shift her focus to a new love interest, preferably a character with a similarly dark side. In the past, Kristen was married to Andre DiMera (Thaao Penghlis), who was pretending to be Tony DiMera, and she also harbored a deep affection for John Black (Drake Hogestyn). But for a significant stretch of time, her romantic obsession has been Brady Black (Eric Martsolf). Despite her attempts to lure him back using their daughter Rachel Black  (Arianne Zucker) as bait, Brady remains unmoved on DOOL.  In another twist, Brady's other love interest, Teresa Donovan (Emily O'Brien) is also vying for his attention, while simultaneously pursuing Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson). Meanwhile, Kristen's romantic future may lie with the mysterious Bobby Stein (Blake Berris) , a character fans are eager to know more about. Kaila York has a fascinating conversation with Cooper on what brought her to this awesome place as an Executive Producer, Director, and more. Kaila has worked for a variety of entertainment companies including Genesis Literary Agency, Paradigm Talent Agency, and Martin Chase Productions. Kaila formed Headlong Entertainment, a production and literary management company, in 2007. She has represented film and television writers and directors working in all genres. Under Headlong’s banner, Kaila has produced thirteen films and has developed and sold both scripted and unscripted television. In 2010, Kaila produced the independent horror film GREYSTONE PARK, Sean Stone’s directorial debut. Among other credits, Kaila produced HIGHLY FUNCTIONAL starring Bruce Campbell and Annabeth Gish, which was filmed in Canada and New Mexico. In 2016, she executive produced KILL RATIO with TomHopper (Black Sails), shot in Ireland, and THE LAST HEIST starring Henry Rollins. She produced MY DAUGHTER IS MISSING, filmed in Belgrade, Serbia for MarVista Entertainment. After a festival run, this film was distributed on Lifetime Television and Amazon Prime. Since then, she’s produced five more independent features in association with MarVista Entertainment. In the fall of 2018, Kaila directed her first feature film, NO PLACE LIKE HOME, produced by Benattar/Thomas Productions. The film stars Stacy Haiduk, Kelly Kruger, and Anne Leighton. As of July 2019, she’s just wrapped her second feature film as director. In her spare time, Kaila works with various film festivals presenting panels on topics such as independent filmmaking, film financing, to successful pitching. Over the past 30 years, she’s worked with the likes of Steven Spielberg, Aaron Spelling and has voiced characters for the recent video game series, “Star Wars: The Old Republic.” Scanning across Stacy lengthy and impressive IMDb credits, she might be best known for her roles as Patty Williams on “The Young & The Restless,” or Kristen Dimera on “Days Of Our Lives,” Lana Lang on “Superboy,” Jenny on HBO’s “True Blood”, Colleen on “Melrose Place” and Lt. Cmdr. Katherine Hitchcock on “Seaquest 2032”…among dozens of other roles in film and television. Stacy has also been my very good friend since the 7th grade. Stacy Haiduk, who plays the dual roles of Patty Williams and Dr. Emily Peterson on CBS Daytime's The Young and the Restless, will be making her first appearance on BuzzWorthy Radio! Haiduk first got recognition as playing Lana Lang in the Superboy series from 1988-1992. From then on out, she had smaller roles in television and film, until 2007 when she landed the role of Hannah Nichols on ABC Daytime's All My Children. Unfortunately, her character met her demise when she purposely fell over a cliff in 2008. The following year, Haiduk made her way to Genoa City as the mysterious Mary Jane Benson, only to later be revealed as Patty Williams, Paul's (Doug Davidson) sister. Haiduk also took on the role of Dr. Emily Peterson. So, what is now in store for Emily? Patty? Kitty? Oh wait...Kitty is dead, isn't he? This IS a soap, after all. No one stays dead and buried!
