Today's guest, Steven Rudolph, will go into more detail about what your "tigers" are and how to prioritize which natures need to be fed and how.  Each of us has our own innate strengths and desires, which need to be fed in order for us to live a happy, balanced, healthy life. After taking a part-time teaching gig in 1989, Steven began to question his formal education that never led him to recognize this underlying ability. He began to understand that he wasn't alone; there were millions of people who had completed their education without a clear idea of who they were—what their natural capacities were and how to make career choices that aligned with their potential. Steven traveled to India, where he stayed for 21 years while studying ancient Eastern wisdom. His realizations from that time studying became the Multiple Nature System. It was soon apparent that anyone could benefit from Multiple Natures—regardless of nationality or age. So, in 2015 he founded Multiple Natures International to bring his human alignment tools to the world.Take the Multiple Natures test to determine your strongest tigers at Steven's website: https://feedyourtigers.comDoTERRA Wellness Advocate At Wholistic Natural Health Australia, we often recommend the use of high quality essential oils. Understand what the situation needs and bring the tigers. There's too much emphasis placed on being the lone wolf. ~ Steven Rudolph We Americans love our independence. It's kind of our thing, going all the way back to our founding as a country. There's something about individual success that's empowering. Saying “I did it–all by myself!” makes us feel strong. It can also make us feel lonely. And contrary to what we may think, taking on challenges as a “lone wolf,” in the words of our friend Steven Rudolph, doesn't always give us the best results. Steven Rudolph believes in tigers. Not only the big cats, but the tigers we all have inside of us. Here at Brilliantly Resilient, we see our tigers as our Brilliance. And Brilliance is meant to be shared. As Steven reminds us, when we bring our tigers, or Brilliance, and encourage others to do the same, we discover better solutions to challenges and build better teams, as everyone brings their best selves to each situation. Our tigers are our strengths, and combined with the strengths of others–our tribe–we are more productive, successful and stronger. We're all just better. Tune in for more of Steven's Brilliance on this episode of the Brilliantly Resilient podcast. Let's be Brilliantly Resilient together! XO, KS & MFB

"Everybody has a unique way of being— You can't escape who you are. And so it's better to be the best you that you can be, rather than trying to be somebody else." -Steven Rudolph Some people think that potential is something that you have, but haven't realized yet. But others believe that potential is something you can only reach when you achieve your goals. Like most things in life, there's a middle ground between these two points of view.  Steven Rudolph dreamed of being a rockstar. Sadly, following his dream didn't help him pay the bills so he applied as a teacher. At that moment, Steven realized that he had a knack for teaching and that he had a bigger mission to fulfill. He founded Feed Your Tigers, which is his way of saying “live your potential”. Today, Steven continues to help others discover their true selves and live their purpose.    In this episode, Steven and I talk about how we can figure out our true potential and how to live it. We also discuss the difference between skills and talents, the truth about strengths and weaknesses, how we can balance our tigers so that it does not eat away at us nor overwhelm us, how we can overcome imposter syndrome, and why we should embrace and celebrate who we truly are.    Connect The Modern Man:  Website Facebook Twitter Instagram YouTube    Highlights:  01:59 "I am a Teacher!"  05:11 Skill vs Talent 10:04 How to Identify Your Tigers 15:00 The Truth About Strengths and Weaknesses 20:46 How to Overcome Imposter Syndrome 26:36 It's Easier to Be YOU 28:11 Recap

S3E18 is an episode you should listen to if you are looking to better understand yourself because it is about discovering your multiple natures. My guest, Steven Rudolph, is the CEO of a company called Multiple Natures, and their business is helping people learn what their natures and intelligences are and what they are meant to do in the world. I took their assessment myself - they call it the MNTEST - and I received their report prior to this recorded conversation. In their framework, there are 9 natures and 10 intelligences, so that covers quite a spectrum of aptitudes and abilities, and the report gives you your rating (1-10) for each along with an explanation of what that rating means. But I learned that you need a qualified MN Practitioner to really begin to appreciate what the combination indicates for application in the real world, including spiritual aspects. Rudolph provided me a lot of interesting and useful insights into my natures and intelligences that I never would have fully understood on my own.  He is a gifted teacher and story teller, and he made the information that he shared quite interesting and memorable. He refers to nurturing your natures as "feeding your tigers". Some key messages/takeaways: You can rediscover your authentic self. You can't escape your true nature, so the more you know about it the better. You must learn to trust your true nature, and then live into it because that's how you are meant to live your life - loving your life - and how you can best serve others. When we tap into our natural abilities and talents we will take our lives to new levels and will be fulfilled at the same time.   Steven Rudolph is the founder of Multiple Natures.  He's on a mission to help people discover their natural abilities, natural talents, and figure out how to put those talnets ot use, especially in their professional lives so that they can get more out of life.   In his early 20's Steven thought he was on the road to become a rockstar.  When he found out that aspiring rockstars really didn't make any money, he started teaching English classes to help support himself.  This was the beginning of an interesting journey that took him to Japan and India before opening his own school in India in 1994.   His school started with 8 children and the current enrollment is around 2000.  The core of the curriculum is that every kid knows who they are and he helps them tap into that with a process he created.   This process, Multiple Natures, is built on the principle that everybody's got a unique nature, qualities that make them special and unique.  When you identify what those unique qualities are and you align it with what you do, that's where you thrive.   This episode is filled with pearls that you won't want to miss.   Learn more about Steven here: Multiplenatures.com   And take his free MNTest to discover your personal tigers here: feedyourtigers.com Guest Bio: In 1989, while pursuing a career in music in New York, Steven Rudolph took up a part-time teaching job to make ends meet. Feed  your tigers. That's the premise behind Steven Rudolph's podcast, book, website etc. But, what are your tigers and how should they be fed?The point of this episode is to show you how to develop your natural abilities (your tigers) and point you in the direction you are naturally inclined towards for success. We discuss the hero's journey, the trials and tribulations of life, and how they mold us into the person we are meant to be, if we let them.Suffering is a part of life. We grow through it.Health, in this sense, means you are situated within yourself. You are being yourself and not trying to be someone you are not.Central concept of the episode is how to find your unique nature.Stephen can be found at https://feedyourtigers.com/On the site there are some free learning tools to help you figure out your natural abilities.Support the show
