In my quest to play, research, review, rate, rank, document, and actually enjoy each and every single video game I own, this week I took a deep dive into my most average/mediocre/forgettable Super Nintendo games! They're not good, they're not bad, and they'll make you feel a complete lack of feelings! At least, if you play video games anything like how I play video games (very terribly, and in impatient, cynical, short 10-minute bursts, because that's normal I think...).Prices (loose) are from PriceCharting.com, and cover art is from TheCoverProject.net with the exceptions of SimAnt (Nintendology) and Unholy Night (Nintendo Everything). Music Credits: Intro/Outtro: Super Turrican 2 (SNES) – Wormland Scooby-Doo Mystery (SNES) – Solving A Mystery Disney’s The Jungle Book (SNES) – Bear Necessities Mortal Kombat (SNES) – Ending Theme Unholy Night (SNES) – Fight In The Dragon Palace SimAnt (SNES) – In House Theme Speedy Gonzales (SNES) – Map Theme

We rounded up our favorite SNES titles and stuck them in a top 20 list. In addition to our top 20 list we review Metroid for the Nintendo Entertainment System.
The Super Nintendo Entertainment System, Super Nintendo, S-N-E-S or Snes; no matter how you say it, the gray and purple video game box was an incredible evolution from the original Nintendo. The new, more powerful hardware enabled developers to create games that were bigger, better, and more beautiful. The library that accrued over its 10 year lifecycle is incredible. Colin hosts as Geeksquatch talks about their favorite games from the system. Everyone has compiled a list of 5 personal favorites that will transport you back to the 90s. The gang also covers off on the games included in the SNES Classic, which is planned to release in September 2017. Cryptogeekology switches things up a bit with “Back of the Box Trivia”. Stick around to see if you can guess the game based on the description from the back of the original cardboard packaging.. Geeksquatch is a nostalgia podcast brought to you by a group of “enthusiasts” that grew up in the 80’s and 90’s - and by enthusiasts, they’re actually just a bunch of friends that like to geek out about tv, movies, video games, and toys from their formative years. Join the podcast each week to reminisce about nerd culture topics before they became retro favorites. Come for the squatch, stay for the trivia.
