Show Notes This week, Dan and Kris dive into the double feature of the September Nintendo Direct and State of Play showcases that Nintendo and Sony dropped on the same day for some reason. In State of Play, Sony showed off a small handful of games we already know about, while ignoring a large swath of upcoming games that we know for a fact are coming to PalyStation. Why? Nobody knows for sure. Is Baby Steps a game about Dan's life? Did the new Final Fantasy VII footage impress? Then in the Nintendo Direct, Nintendo dropped a number of bombs directly on Kris's head. Kris lost his mind over Horizon Chase 2, F-Zero 99 brings back the fan favorite series in an extremely unusual way, Trombone Champ makes everyone laugh, and Dave the Diver is surprisingly fantastic. What did they think of their other reveals? Let's find out! Plus, Dan's been under the weather and unable to do much of anything beyond watch Ahsoka, Kris finally beat Ring Fit Adventure at the cost of using his legs for a day, Sea of Stars continues to be awesome, and more! Kotaku has a weird take on sexiness. Things like Lady Dimitrescu from Resident Evil Village and the cartoon dragon from Ring Fit Adventure are fine to sexualize, but, for some reason, a human girl's iconic skirt turning into a skort is something to celebrate. We discuss Kotaku's bizarre take on such changes to the Resident Evil 4 remake along with Hollywood's anti-Christian bias, the charges against Justin Roiland being dropped, and a ridiculous article about how to avoid being ableist in fiction.

Y'all, it's been a whole year since we first locked down in our homes last March with nothing but Animal Crossing to keep us company. It's been a tough couple of weeks, & we're all feeling some type of way about this Panniversary, so we decided to take things a bit more casual this week. Instead of focusing on one game, we're joined by our good friend: actor & composer Connor Marsh (he/him) to kiki with us on some game news and take a retrospective look at this past year in Gaming Culture & games that meant a lot to us over these past 12 monthsPlus, we convince Connor to brag about his PS5, Eric argues that Death Stranding is camp, Laurence continues to be a Barb. We all talk about which Zelda game is the gayest, and argue over whether or not the Ring Fit Adventure dragon is hot (he is.)Check out CheckPointOrg.com for mental health resources focused directly on gamers and game makers!

Locked On Predators - Daily Podcast On The Nashville Predators
The Nashville Predators lost 5-1 to the Carolina Hurricanes, and it was a final result that didn't shock many. Frederic Allard was called up to the Taxi Squad from Chicago and deserves at least one look while with the big club. Then, Justin and Matt discuss the bad decision to not pull Pekka Rinne before he allowed 5 goals and why, at this point, Kasimir Kaskisuo should get at least one start to give Rinne a break. Lastly, both Justin and Matt are on fitness journeys right now, so they discuss the Ring Fit Adventure video game for the Switch. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices

If you play the entire intro sequence with a metronome and start it on the downbeat before the song actually starts, the hi-hat countdown will make sense and will be absolutely 100% on time. https://youtu.be/YsYClJk8Zv4 What We've Been Playing Joseph Persona 5 Strikers (review code provided) Chris Uno: Ultimate Edition (review code provided) Coromon Demo Ring Fit Adventure Josh Resident Evil 4 Stacin Assassin's Creed: Valhalla Crash 4: It's About Time Worms: Rumble Learn more about your ad choices.
