Il tempo trascorso in casa ha contribuito a rafforzare il suo rapporto con la musica e a far emergere nuove sfaccettature della sua personalità. Martina Mocci ha raccontato che tutto nasce da un episodio avvenuto durante una mostra di pittura alla quale partecipava la nonna. Una signora le disse che ricordava la Venere di Botticelli per via dei capelli. Da lì è nata l'idea di scegliere un nome artistico ispirato alla figura della Venere, poi trasformato in Vaenus per ottenere un suono più originale e personale. La cantante ha spiegato anche come Vaenus rappresenti una parte diversa rispetto alla Martina della vita quotidiana. Sul palco emerge infatti una personalità più sicura, creativa e istintiva. Gli anni '80 come ispirazione musicale Le sonorità anni '80 occupano un posto centrale nell'universo artistico di Vaenus. L'artista ha citato nomi iconici come Freddie Mercury, Michael Jackson, Madonna e Prince come punti di riferimento fondamentali. Secondo Vaenus, quella decade ha lasciato un segno profondo nella storia della musica grazie all'originalità dei suoni e alla capacità di trasformare anche temi semplici in brani memorabili. Un periodo che, a suo dire, trasmetteva emozioni autentiche e un modo diverso di vivere la quotidianità, meno dipendente dalla tecnologia. La cantante ha sottolineato anche il fascino delle registrazioni analogiche e della dimensione più umana della musica prodotta in quegli anni. L'esperienza live sul palco di Sant'Isidoro Nel corso dell'intervista, Vaenus ha parlato anche della partecipazione al contesto musicale di Sant'Isidoro. Un'esperienza definita positiva sia dal punto di vista artistico sia umano. Nonostante l'ansia iniziale, la cantante ha raccontato di essersi divertita molto sul palco, soprattutto grazie alla possibilità di esibirsi insieme a una vera band composta da bassista, chitarrista e batterista. Per Vaenus il live rappresenta un momento speciale. L'obiettivo non è soltanto cantare, ma creare energia e coinvolgere il pubblico. “Mi piace divertire e divertirmi”, ha spiegato durante la conversazione.
