After graduating from Stanford, Bridget went on to attend medical school. Despite her many academic successes, something just wasn’t right about her graduate school experience. Family, friends and college associates didn’t understand her conflict, and she really hit a low point in her life. There began Bridget’s brave journey back to find herself—her most creative, brave and bold self. Though she had always excelled in the sciences, Bridget was drawn to the creative arts and improvisational theater. She embraced the concept and quote of Nelson Mendela, “You only win or you learn.” Improv led to writing and producing successful one-woman comedy shows. Bridget is now a sought-after performer and creativity teacher, often working with tech companies. She reminds us the more we live boldly, the better we feel, the better we sleep and the better our health. Today’s episode will help you realize that in finding your most authentic self, you will also find purpose, well-being and joy. Come learn from Bridget and have fun along the way. Bridget's Bio: Bridget Quigg is a 15-year tech veteran and founder of the “You’re a Genius” workshop series. After a successful career as a marketing director at some of Seattle’s hottest startups, Bridget decided to take her long history in comedy and teach corporate teams about creativity, collaboration and the power of having fun together. She’s written and toured in five one-woman comedy shows, including her most recent “Techlandia,” which was featured in Geekwire, the San Francisco Chronicle and on NPR. Consistently ranked as a favorite presenter at Microsoft events, Bridget likes to keep her sessions uplifting and fast-paced so that everyone goes home energized, with a fresh perspective and ideas for their team. Bridget is a graduate of Stanford University.
