The Avalanche lose their first game in regulation to the Bruins by a final score of 3-2.

Cale Makar scored his first goal of the season and Nathan MacKinnon had two as the Avalanche defeat the Sabres 3-1 in Buffalo on Monday afternoon.

Gavin Brindley scored his first career goal but the Avs fall to the Stars 5-4 in a shootout.

Scott Wedgewood put up 31 saves to go with a couple goals from Ross Colton and Nathan MacKinnon to get the Avalanche a 2-1 win at home over the Utah Mammoth.

The Avalanche get two goals from Marty Necas en route to a 4-1 win over the Kings to open the regular season.

The Colorado Avalanche fall 3-2 to the Dallas Stars in the preseason finale on Saturday night.

When the Rapids backs were against the wall, they showed absolute grit! The Colorado Rapids took the early 1-0 lead behind the one and only Cole Bassett. Paxten Aaronson, in his home opener with the Rapids, goes on to make it look easy in the 7th minute of stoppage time. 2-1 is the final at DSGP! The Rapids had good intentions of winning this game but early it was hard to see. They gave up a goal in the 4th minute of regulation. Colorado would later storm back in the 1st half led by Rafael Navarro, Keegan Rosenberry, and Rafael Santos! Rapids lead 2-1 at the half. In the 2nd Half, Zack Steffen was COOKING as he stopped multiple attempts from Kansas City to tie it up. But as the 2nd went along, it was all apart of KC's plan to wear down Colorado. The Colorado Rapids lose 3-0 to the LA Galaxy. The Galaxy got on the board during the 7th minute and never looked back. The positive side of tonight's loss is the Rapids got to see their new weapons in action. Could that provide a spark down the road? Only time will tell. The Colorado Rapids saw a helpless and winless road team coming to town and decided to strike! Darren Yapi remains hot and put Colorado on the board first. Atlanta scores less than two minutes later. In the second half, it was the Rafael Navarro show! He scored two goals less than ten minutes apart to put the Rapids up 3-1. That would be all she wrote. But unfortunately, old habits die hard as the Rapids give up a goal right before the half. The 78th minute rolls around and Cruz Azul rolls it in to tie things up 2-2. No regulation or extra time scoring so to penalty kicks we go. Cruz Azul win 5-4 during penalty kicks to win their final 2 points of League's Cup in 2025. 

Game 1 of League's Cup for the Colorado Rapids lived up to the hype! After a strong first half from Colorado, Santos Laguna struck first to open the 2nd Half. Colorado doesn't waste any time to tie it up as Rafael Navarro gets them on the board less than ten minutes later! The best was yet to come as Rafael Navarro scores his second of the game for Colorado with 86' on the clock! Despite the scrappy ending, the Rapids win 2-1! In a pivotal Game 5, the Avs were jumped on from the beginning and couldn't recover. The Avs gave up a goal within 9 seconds of puck drop.
