Welcome back, this week we take a look at the last games of the premier league and do a brief sum up before our End of the season podcast on the Prem as a whole.

This week on Cannons and Lions, Arsenal have dropped all 9 points in 3 games against Crystal Palace, Brighton and Southampton but manage to put away Chelsea and Man U, Chalking up another win in the Cannons and Lions derby. Chelsea have been just as inconsistent, but manage to cling to that 3rd place spot, while getting absolutely Benzema-ed in the CL.

Cannons & Lions is back and Arsenal have been storming along have 8 wins from their last 10 PL games. Chelsea has returned from the Club World Cup with 2 wins of their own. Crunch time is coming for Champions League and future Champions League spots.

The past weeks have seen limited Premier League Football for us to delve into but that being said Chelsea and Arsenal owners celebrated victories in what could be described as 2 completely different disciplines. Meanwhile the real Arsenal Win 1-0 against wolves with 10 men.

Arsenal tie Burnley at home after a decent display without any finishing but will it prove more costly than Chris Wood's 25 million pound transfer? Meanwhile, Tottenham are beat by Chelsea for the 3rd time in 2 weeks.

Arsenal cause the footballing media to go into an uproar, due to their cancelation request of the NLD or were they just exploiting a silly rule? Meanwhile Chelsea lose a grip on their title chase.

The premier league gave a masterclass in controversy as City play Arsenal. Meanwhile, problems arise at Stamford Bridge as Chelsea continue to fall behind City.

This First Cannons & Lions Derby came and went with Arsenal winning a not-so-well deserved 3 points in a cagey affair. Chelsea then go on to lose the FA Cup final to Leicester and throw some doubt into their end of season aspirations.

This week in football, Chelsea dominate Real Madrid over 2 legs to book a place in the final against Manchester City and beat their future Matchup 2-1 in the Premier League. Meanwhile in North London, Arsenal endures a virtual season-ending loss to Villarreal in horrible fashion. A consolation win against West Brom brings the 'White Whale' of the season to reality with Willian scoring his first Arsenal goal. 

This week, we look at the pitch occupation at Old Trafford, European fixtures and Premier League results. Chelsea convincing, but ultimately feeling disappointed by a 1-1 draw in Madrid. This week on Cannons & Lions, Chelsea win a 6 pointer vs West Ham and Arsenal stumble to Everton once again. Wow what a week. It really does seems that one week in reality translates to 1 year in football standard time. With that we stuck into the rise and crashing fall of The Super League, review Champions League and Europa League ties from eons ago, premier league fixtures and of course the 'now suddenly important to Chelsea' FA cup.
