"We get to keep ascending, we get to keep learning, evolving. And the more that we interact with each other, the more conversations we have, the more perspectives we hear, the more new information comes in. And the more we grow our own consciousness, we elevate our own consciousness and then that's really the fun of it. We get to learn from each other. So there's always more to learn. There's always more to know. That's the fun part."Tuning into our intuition is something we all have access to, in this episode I talk to Kerri Hummingbird about tuning into this and allowing our consciousness to rise.Kerri Hummingbird, Soul Guide, inspires people to lead their lives wide awake with authenticity, passion and purpose that positively impacts others. She catalyzes mind-shifts that transform life challenges into gifts of wisdom with her Reinvent Yourself programs for individual and group mentoring. She is the international best-selling author of "The Second Wave: Transcending the Human Drama" and the award-winning best-selling book "Awakening To Me: One Woman’s Journey To Self Love" which describes the early years of her spiritual awakening. She has served as a social activist, leader, and philanthropist for over three decades. She is the Founder of the Skills Not Pills Movement and Host of Soul Nectar Show. Get the full show notes here.
"Your mind reacts to the words and images that you feed it. You have absolute control of how any situation turns out for you."Our limiting beliefs can really hold us back, our beliefs start forming as children and reframing them and changing our stories is so crucial.Sarah Griffiths is a Rapid Transformational Therapist. In October 2010 she nearly committed suicide as childhood bullying had left her full of self-loathing and lacking in confidence. She was also in a narcissistic marriage but did not know it at the time. Since then she has been on an incredible journey of healing and self-discovery and now works as a trauma and abuse therapist helping others overcome the negative effects of their past just as she has.In this episode, we explore overcoming limiting beliefs and how to do this.Get the full show notes here.
"Abundance is also not something that comes and then we feel abundant like money isn't something that comes into our life, and then we feel abundant and taken care of and safe. There are people with money in the bank who feel broke, you know what I mean? Who feels scared of losing it all the time. abundance is a feeling that we first tap into, no matter what the external circumstances."Abundance is our birthright, and everyone is worthy of having it. We also can all create it, and in this episode, I explored this with Viola Hug.We dove into: Having a morning ritual that flows without the rulesCreating a 100% intuitively led business and trusting herselfBuilding a multi 6 figure business in 2 yearsKnowing that what you desire is what is meant for youBlocking abundance and the conditioning that causes thisThe different levels of yourselfReprogramming your mindAbundance trackingBeing a mama-to beThe different levels of intuitionViola Hug is an intuitive coach, mentor, author, podcaster, and the creator of the Abundant Babes brand. She coaches women on business, wealth, spirituality, and mindset, and how those things utilised together allow you to have it all in life.Viola and her husband travelled the world for almost 2 years as digital nomads, meaning while they travelled the world she built and grew her multiple-six-figure business online. She runs live online programs, high-level masterminds, and for those who want it all, she also takes on one-on-one clients. She hosts a successful podcast called Abundant Babes, and is the author of the Amazon Best Seller “You are an Abundant Babe.”Viola is fun, unique, and passionate, making her a captivating speaker, and her energy and words are often the catalyst for her followers and clients to take complete ownership of their life, believe in themselves, and create a reality that blows the mind of even their wildest dreams!Get the full show notes here.
"When you're able to become more confident about your story and you become more heartfelt, and more real about what you want to share, and it really comes from the heart, not just what you think other people might want you to share, when it when we really get to that place, that deep place within you, that's where the confidence can arise."We all have our stories that come from our experience of life, they are shaped through our unique lens. Everyone's context is slightly different and this is why everyone has a book inside them. In this episode, I sat down with Book Coach, Danielle Perlin-Good to chat about why your story matters.Growing up Jewish, Danielle was always extremely interested in familial history, ancestry, and her roots. She loves helping others share their family’s history and showcasing it to the world. She firmly believes in telling stories of the past so future generations can learn from trials and tribulations. "I've always been a natural person who's loved people but was always really disappointed by them. And I just woke up one day and wasn't disappointed anymore because I just understood I understood that hurt people hurt people, and it's just made me understand."Self-Awareness is about knowing yourself. It's about claiming your identity and accepting who you are. It's about letting go of the people-pleasing and self-sabotaging that can keep you stuck. In this episode, I chatted with Jackie Coban about how self-awareness saved her from herself.Jackie is an Enneagram and Life coach in the NJ/NYC area, working with individuals and companies to create sustainability and reach goals through self-awareness and emotional intelligence.Get the full show notes here: https://malakennedy.com/podcast-29
It's taken me some time to post this because I've been processing what's been going on in the world. White privilege is real and we need to continue to do the work for equality. Initially, I felt anger as a Brown woman, and then I slowed down and returned to centre. Here I found clarity on my experiences of racial prejudice and how they fit into the bigger picture, and whilst it is still a work in progress I feel called to share my story and continue to educate myself too.Get the full show notes here:
"I want girls that are growing up like me or women that experience what I've experienced to know that you are beautiful, regardless of the colour of your skin, regardless of how you look, because beauty starts with you." Racial prejudice has finally been brought to the forefront of our lives and people are now taking action to change it. Eltrisa Bryant is one woman who has been creating change since long before people started waking up. Her mission is to help women feel more confident. Is that you? Confidence starts in owning your worth, and whilst Eltrisa and I live on opposite sides of the world we found many commonalities in our experiences and our road to healing. In this episode, Eltrisa shares her story and experience of the journey to self-love and confidence as a Black woman. She is leaving a legacy so that her daughter never has to grow up hating her skin.Eltrisa shares how she "unlearned ugly" and how as a Healing and Confidence coach she now helps women heal from past trauma, and build their confidence and self-esteem. The keys to being more confident are about loving who you are and facing your fears with boldness. One thing I loved in my chat was Eltrisa was how she explained how to work on your own self-love even when you have no support, because whilst support is amazing, sometimes it isn't available and that's when it is so important to tune into how you can support yourself. She also shared some useful practices and affirmations to help with this.Eltrisa is a Confidence Coach. She's spent most of her life hiding in the shadows of others because of low self esteem and a lack of confidence in herself. Her mission is to pull purpose out of women and young girls and help them build the confidence needed to operate in their full potential. You can follow her on Instagram here: https://www.instagram.com/sheis_ellab/Follow me on Instagram here: https://www.instagram.com/malalovesGet the full show notes here: https://malakennedy.com/podcast-27/
