What if the parts of yourself you once tried to suppress were actually trying to guide you all along?My connection with this week's guest, medium Kerstin Caldwell, began with one of the most extraordinary remote-viewing experiences I've ever had.During a development exercise, Kerstin held a place from her childhood in her awareness while I attempted to perceive it without knowing where she had taken me. This is a very personal episode of Soul Sync, recorded on my birthday and at what feels like one of the biggest crossroads of my life.After ten years of building and running my legal recruitment business, I've finally stepped away from the identity that shaped so much of my adult life. I didn't necessarily leave with the outcome I once imagined, but somewhere along the way the question stopped being, “How much can I get from this?” and became, “What is my soul actually asking me to do?”Over the summer, I gave myself permission to stop, breathe and immerse myself in mediumship. And something has shifted.My recent week at the Arthur Findlay College moved me more deeply than I expected. What happens when your intuition is wrong, and is being wrong actually the worst thing that can happen?I have a story for you that started when my friend was coming over for dinner at 7:30 pm. At 7:30 pm, my doorbell rang, so I yelled “come in!” from the kitchen and kept doing what I was doing, except no one came in. When I went to check the door, no one was there, so I went back to the kitchen and a few moments later the doorbell rang again, but once again, no one was there.Then things got weird because my doorbell started ringing over and over again, aggressively, for almost an entire minute, and yes, I have the video, so you can go watch the whole thing happen on Instagram.When my friend finally arrived, we immediately started trying to figure out what had just happened. Was it spirit trying to get my attention, was it someone coming through for my friend, was it someone for me, or was August 11th an important anniversary that I was supposed to recognize?Then another thought popped into my head. Was someone passing away and coming to say goodbye?That thought sent me into calling my family, putting everyone on high alert, and trying to figure out what my intuition was actually telling me.Was my intuition right, was I picking up on something that was actually happening, or was I completely wrong about the entire thing?This week's episode is about why trusting your intuition is worth it, even when there is a chance you might be wrong.
