I always encourage anyone to ask themselves “ how can I be a good team mate? How can I help a team mate” this short episode is a chat inspired by one page in a book that encourages thought and action in this area. Ask yourself what are the attributes and characteristics of what you would consider your most valuable team mate . Ask your team to do this, then after your next game or next day or week at work ask them who was their MVT and why. This is a great exercise out of the book ‘ Culture Wins' by Greg Berge .

This episode was inspired recently by noticing a common theme during a series of speaking engagements across some very successful businesses where holding team mates accountable isn't always easy and for a lot of people quite challenging . In this episode we try and change the thought process of finding this challenging to seeing it as an opportunity . Wayne Bennett once instilled it in me with the words “ if you tolerate it, it's your fault” . This short episode is designed to create some thoughts around this topic, share some stories that may help you or someone else on their leadership journey. It's a short episode and was recorded very casually in my kitchen/dining room trying to picture that I'm actually talking to you directly and hopefully one that assists you in some way. Keep enjoying your journey and thanks for listening and supporting this show
