Hiiiiiii. Lindsay and Paige here: two therapists and mothers with a mission to fight perfection culture in motherhood. When we're not working with children and their parents in therapy or recording for the pod, you can find us hanging out at home with our
The Mindful As A Mother podcast has been a game-changer for me. As a mother of three and someone who has recently started therapy to help manage my overwhelming responsibilities, I was feeling like a failure and desperately in need of support. Thankfully, a friend recommended this podcast to me and it has been an absolute lifeline. I have found so much value in the episodes I've listened to, particularly the self-care and success as a mother episodes. These episodes have helped me begin the process of separating my worth as a mother from the state of my house or other external factors. The fact that the host still recommends therapy is also incredibly helpful for my mental health journey.
One of the best aspects of this podcast is how relatable and knowledgeable the hosts, Paige and Lindsay, are. Every time I listen to an episode, I come away with something new that either helps me understand myself better or provides insights into parenting my children. Their strategies are practical and effective, and I have implemented many of them with great success. It truly feels like they understand the challenges of motherhood on a deep level, which makes their advice all the more meaningful.
On the downside, there aren't any significant negative aspects to this podcast that I have come across. However, it is worth noting that everyone's experience with podcasts can be subjective, so what works for one person may not work for another. That being said, I believe that The Mindful As A Mother podcast offers valuable insights and support that can benefit any parent seeking guidance.
In conclusion, I highly recommend The Mindful As A Mother podcast to any parent who is looking for relatable and educational content. Whether you're dealing with ADHD like myself or just navigating the challenges of parenthood in general, this podcast provides a sense of validation and support. Lindsay's authenticity, expertise as a child therapist, and relatability make her an excellent host who genuinely understands what parents go through. I have felt less alone since discovering this podcast and will continue to listen to it for the valuable tips and perspectives it offers.
