This week Tony sits down with former member of his youth ministry Claire Leo and they talk about what really matters. This was a very personal interview for Tony and that comes through very clearly. Claire grew up as a practicing Catholic and has now become what she terms as "Apathetic". We talk about Claire's love of books, her emo days, her spiritual awakening in high school, and how she drifted away over time. In someways this was the hardest interview we have done to date, but it was also one of the most rewarding. The game we talk about at the end. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/brybelly/dice-wars-co-op-tactics-board-game-with-28-jumbo-u Music for the episode used under the CC Attribution License through the Free Music Archive. This week Tony sat down again at Around the Table Gamer Pub to talk about what really matters with Coowner and resident Game Guru Tim Morgan. Tim is a business owner, game designer, and (as he shares with us) a deep down deist who would often times identify as atheist or agnostic to keep conversation simple. Tony has know Tim for years now, but this is the first time they have had a chance to sit down and talk about what Tim believes. We also explore the time he spent oversees living in a rectory and playing a renovated Catholic Church, exploring his Catholic roots as an adult, his break up letter with God in the form of a roleplaying game he wrote, and his Pokemon Go prayer labyrinth walks. I love the conversation we have about prayer, community, the Freemasons, his breakup letter to God, and the way Tim has been seeking the divine (even if he has not found it). Tony and Fr Colin was also refreshingly challenged by Tim's perspective on what makes it hard for him to receive Jesus. For more about Tim check out the following.
