Gabriel de la Rosa, cantante y compositor de la banda Shinova, ha pasado por Madrid Directo con Nieves Herrero para presentar el concierto de fin de gira del próximo 27 de diciembre en el Movistar Arena de Madrid. Gabriel de la Rosa ha dicho que “tenemos muchas ganas de que llegue el cierre de esta gira con la que llevamos dos años aprendiendo muchisimo de todos los momentos que hemos vivido”. Ángel Yanes de la Rosa, presidente del Comité de Empresa de Urbaser, participa en el programa El Remate de La Diez Capital Radio para reivindicar la labor de los trabajadores de limpieza viaria y recogida de basuras. Actualmente es conductor, aunque anteriormente trabajó como barrendero. El presentador Miguel Ángel González Suárez comparte su experiencia personal con un barrendero de su zona, un señor mayor encantador con quien se encuentra cada mañana a las seis y media. Este testimonio introduce la reflexión sobre la importancia de estos trabajadores en la vida cotidiana de los barrios. Ángel Yanes defiende que el barrendero es la figura más importante del sector de limpieza, estableciendo un paralelismo con el antiguo sereno de la península. Destaca que es la persona más cercana a los vecinos y representa la imagen visible de la empresa, estableciendo vínculos personales hasta el punto de que los residentes los llaman "don Antonio" o "don Juan". Relata ejemplos de barrenderos que ayudan a personas mayores a cargar la compra, demostrando su integración en la comunidad. Hace una mención especial a las trabajadoras de la mancomunidad, señalando que la mayoría son mujeres y las califica como profesionales excepcionales que realizan un trabajo descomunal diariamente. La conversación se amplía hacia los trabajadores de los camiones de basura, que van colgados de los vehículos con cascos de seguridad, corriendo riesgos constantes al subir, correr y tirar bolsas en movimiento. Ángel Yanes explica las durísimas condiciones laborales que soportan estos trabajadores: cargas de trabajo excesivas que les obligan a saltarse normas de seguridad, como bajarse del camión antes de que se detenga, y el esfuerzo físico de manejar contenedores pesadísimos donde la gente echa basura, muebles y todo tipo de objetos. Advierte que a lo largo de los años la salud física de estos trabajadores se deteriora por los esfuerzos desmesurados, por lo que pide sensibilidad y que no se castigue a quienes llevan años soportando estas cargas de trabajo. Se explica por qué se sigue usando la escoba de palmera tradicional: facilita ampliar la zona de recogida al ser más larga y arrastra más suciedad, siendo más efectiva. Quien la maneja es un experto en recoger la suciedad eficientemente. La entrevista concluye con una crítica al incivismo ciudadano. Ambos lamentan que en Canarias hay gente que sigue tirando papeles, colillas y vaciando ceniceros en la calle. Ángel Yanes señala que aunque se facilitan papeleras y contenedores, no existe cultura de mantener los municipios limpios, siendo la población irresponsable en estas cuestiones. El título "Urbaser de 3ª división" sugiere críticas a la empresa, aunque el enfoque está en reivindicar la dignidad de estos profesionales.

Today's episode features Ralph De La Rosa. Ralph was the author of three books, including Outshining Trauma: A New Vision of Radical Compassion (foreword by Richard Schwartz). He was a psychotherapist in private practice and a longtime meditation teacher known for his radically honest and humorous approach. His work was featured in GQ, CNN, NY Post, Tricycle, Mindful Magazine, and beyond.Perhaps most crucial is that Ralph walked the path of outshining trauma alongside the people he worked with. He was a survivor of PTSD, heroin addiction, Borderline Personality Disorder, ADHD, and liver failure. Walking through these matters with the help of profound therapists and mentors became an empowerment no school could have offered. It was simply part of his path to offer back what he had been shown.Ralph mentored personally with Richard Schwartz, founder of the Internal Family Systems model of psychotherapy, known for its efficacy in healing trauma. He also completed an invite-only advanced teacher training with Jack Kornfield.He began practicing meditation in 1996 and trained in a spectrum of yogic and healing traditions, including devotional Hinduism and Tibetan Buddhism. Ralph began teaching Buddhist-inspired meditation in 2008. He identified as a practitioner and teacher of human spirituality, offering a highly specialized hybrid of IFS and Buddhism to guide students on a direct path of conscious evolution and self-discovery.As a therapist, Ralph was a summa cum laude graduate of Fordham University. He spent his earliest days working in NYC's clinical foster care system where he trained in multiple modalities of trauma-focused therapy. He maintained a small roster of therapy clients for the love of witnessing transformation up close.Ralph was also an intersectional activist, musician, wannabe acrobat, and outdoor enthusiast, who made his home in Seattle, WA. Tara Leigh Calico, a 19-year-old college student, vanished on September 20, 1988, during a 35-mile bike ride on New Mexico State Road 47. Known for her active and organized nature, she left with her mother's pink Huffy bike and a Sony Walkman. When she didn't return by noon, her mother, Patty Doel, found her Boston cassette tape on the roadside and alerted police, who responded swiftly. Scattered Walkman pieces suggested Tara marked her trail, but her bike was never found.   Witnesses reported a suspicious light-colored 1950s Ford truck with a camper shell trailing Tara. Barron Freeman and Ishmael Delarosa described a sinister driver, but police dismissed Delarosa's account. In 1989, a Polaroid in Florida showed a bound woman resembling Tara, though analyses were inconclusive. More photos later surfaced, adding mystery.   Declared dead by homicide in 1998, the case saw unproven claims in 2008 of teens accidentally killing her. A 2013 task force, 2019 FBI reward, 2021 search warrant, and 2023 suspect identification yielded no charges. Theories include abduction by locals or a serial killer like David Parker Ray, but no evidence confirms this. Tara's parents died without answers; her father's 2002 death was ruled a homicide after a robbery-induced heart attack.
