Have you ever started to sweat thinking about some of the weird stuff you did in middle school? Well your hosts Jo & Morg on the Two Bs from Lil D share their moments like this every week on their podcast. Take a walk down memory lane with them and it will leave you laughing and reminiscing as well. Your hosts are two best friends that grew up together in their hometown of Denton, TX. Now as adults they share hilarious stories, games and flaming hot takes with you on their weekly episodes. Their topics range from current events to weird things they did in growing up that still make them cringe today. They love participation from listeners and intake questions, opinions and submissions each week that they include at the top of their episodes in the segment they have lovingly named “B-Baggage”. Where they may not have the answers but they will have solidarity in the weird stories shared. You can find them on all major podcasting platforms, Apple, Spotify, Overcast, Stitcher, Google Podcasts and many others. Just look for “Two Bs from Lil D” and drop them some baggage of your own!
The question the homies (Brody, Franky and Doug) ask have us all wondering who Audrina will take to Cabo!!! This week the Double Loser Podcast recaps episode 6-10 of Season 4 of The Hills. And it has us screaming, REPETITIVE. We're we so bored in the 2000s this kept us interested?! Heidi and Spencer are still fighting, Lauren is flying to Italy but also still getting mad her friends date her old flings (but DO NOT call it a fling). And Audrina is still with Justin Bobby! The only thing that has changed is Audrina has appeared with a boob job. Join us this week for our hopes and dreams that this season will get better! Follow @doubleloserpodcast on Instagram to here more from your hosts, Morg & Jo
This week, your hosts, Morg and Jo, start season 4 of The Hills and quickly realize that even 4 episodes into the season, not a lot has changed... Lauren is still dating boys from high school, Audrina is still saying she's DONE with Justin Bobby, Heidi and Spencer are still gremlins, Brody is still saying I told you so, and Whitney is still pretty much an intern. Morg and Jo try to answer an impossible question posed by Doug and plot how to make a friend with a private jet... Follow us @doubleloserpodcast
No it's not a mistake! You're hearing our first episode of The Hills recaps this week because we are taking a week off and celebrating that we are half way through The Hills! Morg and Jo will be right back next week to kick off season 4. But while we're gone why not remind yourself why you are rewatching The Hills with us in the first place and jump into the repost here. Follow us @doubleloserpodcast, we promise to post soon xoxo - M&J -------------------------------------------------------- It's 2006 you are about to put on the lowest rise jeans you can find and watch your besties Lauren Conrad and Heidi Montag in your living room while your mom makes Digiorno pizza, life is good. Your hosts Morg and Jo on the Double Loser Podcast are excited to be rewatching dated reality tv with you, or in this case WATCHING THE HILLS FOR THE VERY FIRST TIME! Season 1 Episode 1 of the original series (The Hills S1E1, New City, New Drama) to be exact. We give you all the gut reactions we have to seeing 2006 footage in 2021. This episode is chalked full of terrible interviews, unrealistic job/school expectations and possibly "staged??", as Jo put it. C'mon go stream The Hills already, you know you're gonna wanna rewatch with us. Follow us @doubleloserpodcast on Instagram and please like, subscribe and give us a review! Previously known as “Two Bs from Lil D” podcast. In April 2021 the podcast name was changed to Double Loser Podcast.
Another season of The Hills here and gone. The Double Loser podcast is officially half way through recapping The Hills and have a fun recap this week. We crown this season's King of The Hills and it will leave you surprised (trust us). We lament that these final episodes were very repetitive to themes we've seen all season so it was a lot of the same but different. LC goes on a platonic date, Audrina goes on "not a date date" and Spencer and Heidi are on a relationship vacation. It's easy to tell that all of our relationships are shaken entering season 4. We get a trip to Vegas and Whitney excels at her new job but not without her sidekick Lauren Conrad who is always by her side. We are replaying our Season 1 Episode 1 recap next week for a little break and will be right back with a new episode 9/24 for you! Go ahead and rewatch with us, you know you want to! Follow us on instagram @doubleloserpodcast
Pack your couture sequined tops, y'all, this week we're going to Paris!! This week, Morg and Jo cover episodes 19-23 of The Hills season 3 and y'all need to rewatch, because the LITERAL SONGS ARE BACK, BABY (cue literal song titled Literal Songs We'll Never Take You For Granted Again)! Lauren and Whitney head to Paris, the place Lisa said would change everything. However, nothing seems to change. Like at all. Whitney continuing to do intern duties and the two girls have a late irresponsible night with some French boyzzz. Meanwhile, Spencer tries to win back Heidi which leads to a whole lot of awkardness that involves Heidi's parents. Audrina uses her few words to give us some words to live by and all we can say is 'Amen'. Follow us @doubleloserpodcast
Lucky for you we have recapped Season 3 Episodes 14 through 18 of The Hills. These episodes we get to see our B-Listers of the show a lot more, Audrina, Justin Bobby, Brody and a NEW CHARACTER ALERT! Morg and Jo take you through a riveting break-up between Audrina and Justin Bobby. Somehow we think he'll come back. We see a Halloween party full of sexy bug costumes, and need to research what was going on in 2008 making that a costume theme. Lauren Conrad goes through Brody's phone and finds all the girls he's been mackin' on since 2005. Not good. Finally Stephanie Pratt joins the cast and she has all the fire you would expect from a SHE-PRATT!!! Follow us on instagram @doubleloserpodcast and subscribe on your fave podcast streaming service to hear episodes from us every week!!
Morg and Jo are blasting through episodes 9-13 of The Hills season 3 this week. Lauren and Whitney have some big work events and, once again, exceed Teen Vogue's [questionable] expectations ('given a challenge, you rise!'). Justin Bobby stakes a claim on Audrina in a very Justin Bobby way (it's a tongue wag, y'all!! Put that back in your mouth, JB). Brody and the boys take a very Real Housewives-esque vacay to Vegas and what happens there, definitely goes back to LA. Follow us @doubleloserpodcast
This week your Double Loser Podcast rips through Episodes 5 through 8 of the Hills! Rewatch before you listen, you know you want to. Morg and Jo take you through LC's adventurous dating life in these episode (YUCK BRODY IS STILL PART OF IT). We see more of Audrina and Jen Bunny than we will ever need. Of course Justin Bobby is back in play. Heidi steals a job but we are suspicious of the story line. And we discuss why we don't believe the wedding between Speidi is for real yet!!! Follow us @doubleloserpodcast on instagram, like and subscribe on your fave streaming service.
Morg and Jo are talking The Hills season 3, episodes 3 and 4 this week and there is A LOT. Like to start, Brody totally breaks the world record for the longest beach party and his finger, but who cares about that, we want to know how many days this event really was and how do we get invited? Heidi and Spencer take a cringey trip to see Heidi's parents, Justin Bobby burps and wears combat boots TO THE BEACH, and Spencer continues to questionably decorate instead of buying basics like, I don't know, FORKS AND CHAIRS. If you thought you weren't adulting well, just remember you probably own a fork and are therefore doing better than Heidi and Spencer. Follow us @doubleloserpodcast
Season 3 is on FIRE, right out of the gate we have released a rock album (ok maybe just the intro of the single to a rock album) all from quotes of Episodes 1 & 2 from Season 3 of The Hills. Your hosts, Jo & Morg acknowledge their inability to call Audrina the right name, Adrianna, Audrianna, Adrina, potato patato ammiright? The Sprattdog and Heidi throw a housewarming party to die for, and Kim Kardashian shows up!!! Easter Egg spotted Heidi wearing the same inappropriate dress that caused a LA bro fight with her co-worker Max and Spencer in an earlier season. Somehow your hosts have a tangent on George Foreman and his 12 childer (seriously 12!!!). We discuss the hideous graffiti art that Spencer surprises Heidi with. Lauren Conrad also does a terrible British accent but we have no room to talk "Oy!". Hope you enjoy another fun filled week of us recapping The Hills, if you haven't already follow us on Instagram @doubleloserpodcast and subscribe to us on your favorite podcast streaming service!
Another season down! Your hosts, Morg and Jo, discuss The Hills season 2 episodes 11 and 12 aka the finale!! We learn about Spencer's secret while Heidi makes her final decision about her living arrangements and ruins Taco Tuesday for the last time! Morg provides us with an excellent tip to determine the authenticity of reality television (although lets be real here, it's probably safer to just assume it's all fake in this show) and perfectly blends two unlikely tv characters to create the perfect Spencer impression. Come join us as we crown this season's King of The Hills! Follow us @doubleloserpodcast and subscribe wherever you get your podcasts from!
What a week for The Hills. Whitney plays softball and Audrina's cap strikes again. Morg's dream that Lauren and Whitney hang out comes true! We are the Double Loser Podcast recapping old reality tv shows and are deeply committed to The Hills and the early 2000s right now. Your hosts Morg and Jo recap episodes 9 & 10 this week of season 2. Wouldn't you know it, it's New Years Eve again on The Hills (how is this day so important to this show?) and all the ladies have to get their hair done together. Heidi is definitely feeling the bond between Audrina and LC strengthen while her relationship with Spencer goes to the next level. Will they move in together? I think we all already know the answer to this question but fun to still ask it anyways. Spencer Pratt is dressed like a 1920's mobster and your hosts cannot stop laughing about it. We also celebrate Lauren Conrad's birthday these episodes and Spencer gives an unexpected toast, worth repeating word for word, which we do. And Morg has to eat crow because we thought Jen Bunny was gone for good but she comes back to make a scene at Heidi's work place and for the first time ever Heidi has work to do and can't talk long. All in all we are loving our stars of The Hills and hope you're enjoying the ride with us. Follow us on Instagram @doubleloserpodcast and subscribe now on your choice streaming service for episodes every Friday!
This week, your hosts, Morg and Jo, discuss #TheHills season 2 episodes 7 and 8, and it has it all- a diamond, an Irish goodbye, a betrayal, a bunch of bad dessert jokes, and a burnt out Whitney. Heidi and Lauren gift their friend, Jen, diamonds (an ugly martini glass charm, but still, DIAMONDS!!!) for her birthday and Morg and Jo wonder why they have never splurged so big for each other's birthday (CZ will have to do!). The newly dripping in diamonds Jen then proceeds to go behind Lauren's back and hook up with Brody leading Jo and Morg to discuss the rules and grey areas of girl code. The wedge between Heidi and Lauren grows bigger as Heidi continues to choose Spencer.
Well well well folks. We believe we are witnessing the great breakup of LC and Heidi while simultaneously watching #speidi be born. This week your hosts, Jo & Morg, recap season 2 episode 5 & 6 of #TheHills. And please bear with us because, like we've said, it's our first time watching this show (we know so timely of us). Jo can't help but mention that Spencer Pratt gives off cult leader vibes and now we cannot unsee that. Audrina wows us with her fashion sense and a newsboy knit hat, which allows Morg to walk down memory lane (layered Old Navy tanks anyone?). All of our Hills girls go to what we called the "Love-Hate Dinner" where Heidi whips out her sidekick to text Spencer, UGH! We get introduced to another Teen Vogue intern from NYC and she does not disappoint. No seriously she is nothing like the LA interns she brings a work ethic that Souther California has never seen. Heidi is seen in more questionable work outfits and takes a poll from everyone she knows if she should stay with the Spencester. Eventually everything comes to a head at a club and Spencer and LC have their biggest fight yet. Who will Heidi choose?? Follow us on instagram @doubleloserpodcast and rewatch The Hills Season 2 Episodes 7&8 before 7/9!
This week, your hosts, Morg and Jo, are covering episodes 3 and 4 from season 2 of The Hills. Oh where to start, these episodes were jam packed with juice! Audrina and Heidi's feud over crazy eyes Spencer (will no one ever hold this man accountable?) rages on, which ultimately leads Audrina to 'be the the bigger person' and crash Heidi's birthday party. A coworker imparts some wisdom on Heidi as she pushes the boundaries of what is appropriate to wear for work (do we spy a bikini top!?) which sends Spencer into a fiery rage (ok, CHAMPION). Heidi sets another trap for Spencer and Lauren and Heidi give us some really great drunken post going out moments. Follow us @doubleloserpodcast
Finally, finally! Our Teen Vogue boss, Lisa, gives Lauren "The Devil Wears Prada Vibes" that we have been dying for. She guilts Lauren for not going to Paris and off course continues to show Whitney the love. We are the Double Loser Podcast and this episode we have moved right into Season 2 of The Hills. We discuss THE RISE OF SPENCER which is just as exciting as we anticipated. Brody is workin' to win LC over but it is not going well since he can only seem to speak in compliments, "love that smile". We comment on the fashion, per usual, seeing how date night is a tunic, leggings and straightened hair we are sent straight back to 2007. The break up of Jason and LC is also discussed as we felt robbed of their time in Malibu with episode 1 just immediately cutting to their breakup and apparently look like they both are about to go work a shift at Chili's together. Finally we cannot wait for the rest of Season 2 seeing how we are watching the formation of SPEIDI from the very beginning - and for us it's the first time ever. Whether you've watch it before or it's your first time, join us weekly for recaps of The Hills. You know you want to. Follow us on instagram @doubleloserpodcast
This week on the Double Loser Podcast, Morg and Jo are taking a deeper look at The Hills season 1, episode 10 aka the FINALE! We can't believe season 1 is over! In this episode, Heidi is over Jordan and ready to start living like her preschool self, a girl with tons of boyfriends who could manipulate them into fighting over her. Lauren struggles to get her boss extra tickets to a fashion show and is torn (is she though?) between interning in Paris for the summer or spending her summer vacation at a Malibu home with her boyfriend, Chinstrap Jason. Morg and Jo marvel at how MTV was able to make a 20 min finale out of almost no content and use this time to give final impressions, as well as crown the king/queen of The Hills. Follow us @doubleloserpodcast
The Double Loser podcast has returned with your hosts, Jo and Morg, to discuss The Hills Season 1 Episodes 8 and 9. It's Lauren Conrad's birthday so we follow the ladies of The Hills on a shopping trip that is is to die for. Unfortunately we never find out if Lauren Conrad finds her breathtaking shirt (gasp) since instead of focusing on the task at hand the ladies try on wedding dress for no reason at all! Then surprise Jason is a horrible boyfriend and tries to make LC go out on her birthday when she repeatedly has to tell him she wants to watch a movie. Teen Vogue was bustling in 2006 and your hosts get to discuss watching Whitney and LC giggle as they cast male models for a swimsuit casting. A surprise crossover star is in this episode from another beloved reality tv show, Vanderpump Rules - you gotta listen to find out who!!! While the ladies of the Hills are always our front and center its the boys who steal the show this week. Jason finding out LC lied about the models. Jordan screaming at Heidi which leads to the inevitable break-up. And Brian making double orange drinks and thinking it's groundbreaking. Tune in for our crowning of King of the Hills, where we give a superlative in the episode and this week we crowned a star of these episodes for "Most Eyerolls of the Week". Follow us on Instagram @doubleloserpodcast. Subscribe and give us a review on your streaming service.
This week, Morg and Jo review The Hills season 1 episodes 6 and 7. Lauren drops the ball at work (again) while Whitney steps up her work game and struts in a denim (Whitney's fave!!) fashion show. We are blessed with the best Blaine wisdom yet (life changing, y'all). Then, it's holiday season in the Hills! Lauren, Jason, Heidi, and Jordan try to outdouche each other with their Christmas gifts. Jason and Jordan aka Dumb and Dumber (those top hats smh) race against the clock to get their girls New Years' kisses and Heidi chooses Lauren over the night scene *gasp*. Follow us @doubleloserpodcast
What a week for the Double Loser Podcast. We are currently watching dated reality tv shows and this week your hosts Jo and Morg take you through episodes 4 & 5 of season 1 of The Hills.
This week, Morg & Jo discuss episodes 2 (A Change of Plans)and 3 (An Unexpected Call) of the Hills season 1. Heidi gets her dReAm JoB working the night scene, only to find out it is a boring, full time day job from nine to six (when will she lay by the pool?!!). Lauren packs up all of her low rise capris, thick headbands, and chunky bead necklaces and takes a day trip to New York for work(definitely the appropriate punishment after not guarding those couches in epi 1!!). Special shout outs this episode to: The bosses. Y'all the real stars. and Gadzooks, thank you for all of the chunky bead necklaces and graphic tees you blessed us with back in the day. Follow us @doubleloserpodcast
It’s 2006 you are about to put on the lowest rise jeans you can find and watch your besties Lauren Conrad and Heidi Montag in your living room while your mom makes Digiorno pizza, life is good. Your hosts Morg and Jo on the Double Loser Podcast are excited to be rewatching dated reality tv with you, or in this case WATCHING THE HILLS FOR THE VERY FIRST TIME! Previously known as “Two Bs from Lil D” podcast. In April 2021the podcast name was changed to Double Loser Podcast.
This week the Bs have a big announcement related to rebranding their pod. They discuss Billie Eilish's The World's a Little Blurry documentary. The Bs are talking everything from Billie riding around on a motorized scooter in high fashion (goalzzz) to cranking out hits in her brother's bedroom (how do we do this?!). The Bs discuss Billie's unique full name (we can't emphasize unique enough here) and compare homeschooling in Texas to California. Enjoy this last episode from us as Two Bs from Lil D and we will see you next week!! Follow us @twobsfromlild and don't forget to like and subscribe!
Happy one year anniversary to the Bs!! It is hard to believe that these two girls, who struggle to do basic things consistently like doing laundry and flossing, managed to plan (thx a bunch Google!), record, and edit (basically professionals over here) a podcast on a weekly basis for an entire year. This episode, the Bs continue riding the JLo/Arod rollercoaster, start some rumors British tabloid style, and imagine how successful this pod could be if only we had Kris Jenner as our momager instead of our actual moms. The Bs celebrate one year of chats and laughs with a big announcement. Enjoy and see you next week! Be sure to like, subscribe, and follow us @twobsfromlild
This week the Bs watched Demi Lavato's Dancing with the Devil Documentary, they comment on the lack of background given to those interviewed in the 4 part series. We leave knowing that working for Disney seems to be one of the worst places to be a child star. The Bs comment on the intro and transition scenes where Demi is climbing mountains in a cape, is very Game of Thrones-esque. Additionally the commercials Jojo was presented while she watched were really taking away from the documentary for her ("iS yOuR pOoP tOxIc?!"). They're now worried about that. The Bs deep dive on Demi's ex-fiance Max Ehrich who got really weird after the break up with Demi which was not directly addressed in the documentary. Max being a soap opera star gave the Bs a chance to discuss their soap names. Overall, we took away that if anyone tries to mask a watermelon as a birthday cake we both would lose it. We're rooting for you Demi! Like, subscribe and review us. Follow us on instagram @twobsfromlild We want to explicitly state this week we are discussing the Demi Lavato Dancing with the Devil Documentary, and because of the content in the episode touching on Demi's substance abuse and overdose we wanted to note a trigger warning here and ensure listeners who are stuggling with mental health or substance abuse know they can reach out to the SAMHSA's National Helpline at 1-800-662-HELP (4357) 24/7 free of charge. Please don't struggle alone. We love you and cherish our listeners.
This week the Bs are talking all about jokes- between the bad celebrity April Fools jokes, missed opportunities for a April Fools joke, and some things that seemed like bad April Fools jokes that were in fact not April Fools jokes at all (looking at you Gwyneth Paltrow). Morg and Jo discuss Jen Shah's criminality and wonder why they seem to love a show that seems to be a high end version of Cops. Follow us @twobsfromlild
The Bs discuss all the drama of the Suez Canal this week (Billy Joel was right!!!) and the fear we had when it comes to a supply issue with toilet paper. They imagine what the operator of the blocked ship must have said to his supervisor when he called to say he was stuck. They discuss Demi Lovato's new term "California sober" and how it should be more widely adopted for things outside of being sober. March Madness is coming to an end so we discuss a few brackets that we think would be nice additions to have in our lives. And finally the Two Bs talk through Easter in their houses growing up. You absolutely don't want to miss the B-baggage this week! A psychic from birth has reached out to the Bs! Follow us on instagram @twobsfromlild Review us and subscribe for new episodes weekly!
Just when y'all thought 2021 couldn't get any weirder, Matthew McConaughey releases some low budget lawn chair commercials where he appears to just laugh at his whiskey (for real, we did not dream this) AND contemplates running for Texas governor, despite never having voted in a primary election. The Bs are confused, yet they might just still vote for him... Morg and Jo further dissect what is going on with JLo and ARod (someone help these two stop smooching!) and discuss Bey's letter to T-Swift (that handwriting though). Grab your pen and some paper and get ready to use the Queen Bey letter writing formula for your next holiday greeting card. Follow us @twobsfromlild
The Bs are coming after the Grammys this week. How could they do the Weeknd and JBeebs so wrong? Jo and Morg discuss the fashion and the nail art that was on the red carpet reminding us all that we are too poor to live our lives the way the Grammy artists do. Jo gives the Grammys a new category that they are looking forward to the Academy accepting going forward. They discuss a new panel of judges altogether that gets sent to an island for a year so they can judge the Grammy's without bias. C'mon it will make bank $$$ make that baby into a reality TV show too. And Morg strikes some categories out that we absolutely don't need. Follow us on instagram @twobsfromlild and drop us some b-baggage in our DMs we love hearing from you.
Ooh y'all, this week we have got some tea for you, English tea, that is. The Bs watched Harry and Meghan's interview with Oprah when it aired AND took notes, so you know it's gonna be good. Unfortunately, they did the same amount of research as usual, which also happens to be the same amount of research Meghan did on the royal family before marrying into it. Come join us as we break down the Little Mermaid analogy (who is Ursula!?), question the amount of terms for the monarchy (the FIRM, Y'ALL!?), and come to the conclusion that yes, we aren't crazy, Oprah totally snuck in a British accent. Be sure to get some biscuits to dip into this tea and prep yourself for a lot of questionable English accents from your Bs. Follow us @twobsfromlild
The Bs revisit the snowstorm that shut down Texas for a week and discuss how 2021 is pretty much just as sucky as 2020. They touch on some hot (or maybe now lukewarm?) topics like why are millennials the way they are, how Ted Cruz just might have what it takes to be a Real Housewife, and the safe return of Gaga's dogs. Come with a pencil and paper, y'all, Morg has got a new recipe- Snow Spaghetti (you'll never guess what the secret ingredient is)!!! Follow us @twobsfromlild
The Bs discuss the new Britney Spears doc and make a pack to never let each other go under Jamie Spears as their conservator. They worry about the fake tweet that someone made about Megan Fox, some people just want to watch the world burn. And finally they address the millennial pains of side parts and skinny jeans going out of style. A funeral is held in their honor. Follow two bs @twobsfromlild on Instagram and subscribe... right now!!!
This week, the Bs dabble in Zodiacs, focusing more specifically on Aquarians. The ladies do some light research and turn to forums to get a deeper understanding of what an Aquarius is really like (spoiler: they are sneaky AF). They discuss a new sign added by NASA (LOL WUT never thought we would see NASA in the game) and write their own horoscopes. For example, today, as the moon aligns with Pluto and the Earth sits on a tilt, you will find serenity and joy in your home as you sip on a beverage and listen to this episode (omg we were BORN to write these).
Love is all around us! This week the Bs discuss some practical gifts you can opt for your SO that might get more use than that giant teddy bear on aisle 9. They also give a little history lesson on the creep of the holiday - Cupid. And talk about the shrouds of mystery around St. Valentine himself. Jo confesses that she started the self-love movement in 3rd grade and Morg walks us through the worst Valentine's day she ever had. Whatever you do this Valentine's just be thankful you aren't JLo because we can only assume Arod got a picture of her as a centar to match his own. Follow us on instagram @twobsfromlild
It's that time of year again, folks! Time for you to lay out the spread of garbage finger foods and watch a little football (if we absolutely must). Morg and Jo cover all the most important things on the Super Bowl- the halftime show and commercials, of course!! The Bs dream up the best way to fill empty ad space and Morg shares a fancy Super Bowl snack recipe (who knew that such a thing existed). Grab that plate of hot wings and come pregame with us. Go fighting Agaves and punching Mantis Shrimp!!! Follow us @twobsfromlild
These Bs know beauty, or do they? They take you through myths of the beauty world, and beauty trends that Jo tries to stump Morg with. They confess horrible hacks they tried that really did not work in their favor. The beauty world is a big mystery that these two unpack. Please tune in to hear the benefit Morg’s jade roller. Follow us on insta @twobsfromlild
Hallelujah, we made it to the weekend once again, y'all, although we really didn't think we were gonna make it through the work week this time. As of late (or really always), it has been hard for the Bs to get excited to do their day job and this week that is what they are talking about. Morg tries out her hand at resume writing and the Bs try to get to the bottom of what a consultant actually does. They discuss the buzzwords that make business people lose their minds and wonder if they can create a meaningless buzzword of their own... So kick up your feet and try to forget the fact that in a mere two days you will be back on the grind and spread the gerg (definitely has potential as a business buzzword), y'all!Follow us @twobsfromlild
The Bs are back and ready to start fresh this 2021 and so far, it has not at all been what we thought it would be. In typical B fashion, they are getting caught up on all of the juicy drama- Hilaria, Olivia Wilde & Harry Styles, the Housewives, and the daddy cap- just about two weeks after everyone else. Come get a refresher and a fresh take on this hot 2021 goss.
Happy New Year to all our listeners! The Bs ring in 2021 talkin' all about some traditions that are to help you reset in the New Year and live long and prosper (maybe that's from something else - who knows). From never envied New Years Kiss to the solid pair of undies you chose to wear last night your fate has been sealed with the turning of 2020. Except not to worry you can still eat 365 black eyed peas today and some green beans and get things back on track.Best quote this episode from Jo: "That's my dignity right there, I am not putting on a diaper for any reason."We hope you have had as much fun listening to us in 2020 as we have had making episodes for you! We are taking a week off next week but will be back on Jan 15th with new episodes. Lots of love to our B listeners and HAPPY NEW YEAR BBs! Follow us @twobsfromlild on Instagram
With the hot mess that has been 2020, the Bs were feeling a little grinchy this holiday season. BUT after laughing their way through this episode, their hearts appear to have grown in size! This week, the Bs are breaking down competitive holiday games, writing thank you cards for the worst Christmas gifts they've ever received, and trying to write the perfect holiday card that really captures the essence of 2020 (we've got some mediocre stuff, but then again it has been a mediocre year, so give us a call, Hallmark!).We hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday!!
Here we are only two weeks out from Christmas, although according to Jo's once chocolate filled advent calendar, it has been Christmas since December 1st... This week, the Bs spend some time unpacking classic Christmas jams and come to the realization that Christmas songs seem much darker than they had previously thought. Are we really just simply having a wonderful Christmas time? Sure, you gave someone your heart last Christmas, but did they even ask for it!? Did Rebecca Clause leave Santa because he bought his sugar baby a baby blue Mustang??? You're gonna wanna grab whatever chocolate is still left in your advent calendar to munch on as you listen to the Bs share some juicy [completely fictionalized] stories behind some Christmas hits.
Who'd have known when Clare became The Bachelorette this season where it would take us. The Bs sure didn't because this week they even surprised themselves with the new line up for the replacement to Clare, Tay----- no wait, this just in, the divorcee Mrs. Clause (yes, the MRS CLAUSE).This week they take you through the first episode of the new and improved holiday edition of the Bachlorette, think of all your favorite holiday characters fighting for the love and attention of Rebecca Clause. She deserves a second chance at love. Ole St. Nick will be regretting ever letting her go. Follow us on instagram @twobsfromlild and make sure to like, subscribe and hit us up with B baggage!
This week, the Bs take it upon themselves to brainstorm a Thanksgiving album, because, lets face it, there just aren't any jams you can crank as you and your family sit around and avoid discussing those controversial topics. So we decided to fix that (you're very welcome!) with an album (coming to you in 2021) of tracks that will make you laugh, cry, and respect those TG side dishes a little more. Once they get all of that give thanks garbage out of the way, it's time to move into what we're all here for- BLACK FRIDAY. Morgan, an ex-Black Friday Shopper, gives us the scoop and relieves her most haunting moments that led her to vow to never go to a store on Black Friday again. The Bs also bring to you a Black Friday shopping experience from a foreigner that is truly unforgettable. So, snuggle up in your tent outside of Best Buy and give this episode a listen (JK get out of there!!! Go home, get some sleep, then wake up and listen to this while having a cup of coffee!)Follow us @twobsfromlild and be sure to leave us a 5 star review!
Wow - you will thank us later for this one. One week later to be exact. bc the Bs are saving you from your own family drama. With avoidance techniques for hard conversations (cough cough the election) and anything else that may come your way from ole Uncle Rico who can’t seem to be politically correct. The Bs have turkey riddles and drinking games that will help you with your thanksgiving day schedule that never seems to actually have any timeline at all - “we’ll eat at what time????” We give some love to those forgotten sides and really call out those sides that no one needs (we’re looking at you green bean casserole). We’re thankful for you our listeners as we prepare to celebrate this week! Please tell your friends and follow us on instagram @twobsfromlild.
This week, the Bs brainstorm ways to make the time between Halloween and Thanksgiving more exciting. They put their creativity to use by coming up with ways to stretch Halloween decorations through the holidays and attempt to break world records. They talk about all of the holidays that get overshadowed by Thanksgiving (happy belated Singles' Day y'all!!). We hope you have a great Kindness Day (no worries if it's not your thing, Tolerance Day is just a few days away)!Follow us @twobsfromlild
This week the Bs get politically nonpolitical! They discuss all of the things in life that people have apparently voted on that are of little or no importance, yet they seem to mean everything. The Bs revisit a time in their lives in which they were two young aspiring politicians. One couldn't handle the pressures of office and the other had a campaign slogan just too progressive for its time. So come spend 45 minutes discussing what really matters (fried chicken and pizza).
The Bs talk Halloween this week and it does not disappoint. Between an elixir from Morg's apothecary and Jo's blood and guts the Bs create some spooky cocktails just in time for Halloween. Somewhere between a zombie bus ride and a Christian haunted house Morg and Jo discuss terrible first dates, the best costumes from previous halloweens, and how candy was a form of currency in both their households. They also perfect their ghost voices which apparently have a whole back-story of their own.Follow us on instagram @twobsfromlild and send us your baggage!
This week, the Bs are taking you to one of their old favorite hangouts. It is a dingy gray place that has only gotten weirder and sadder over the years. It's the mall, y'all! The Bs relive a simpler time when shopping was so much more than just the click of a button. They would go to the mall every weekend and troll around looking at tchotchkes, try on things they weren't even remotely interested in purchasing, and dodge all the overly enthusiastic store employees. The ladies brainstorm ways to bring people back to the mall (mall wall, y'all) and determine there are two types of people in the world- those who approach mall kiosks and those who avoid them like the plague. Listen and find out which one you are...Follow us @twobsfromlild
Halftime is over, folks, and the Bs are back and more motivated than ever to keep dishing those Homecoming opinions and question some more football traditions. They imagine how those game changing speeches from coaches go and dream up mascots that are neither creepy nor cliche. Grab your sparkly pom poms and get ready to cheer your girls on. CLANK, DING, SWISH, SWISH. That's right you hear us walking down the hallway with our Homecoming Mums on!!! The Bs are discussing Texas Football and the big Homecoming Game this week. Between being on drill team though and being utterly confused as to why no one wanted to chat with with them on the hot-goss during the 3rd quarter they really do not remember much about the football game itself. And big news - there was so much to say about Homecoming you're getting a part 2 next week. Follow-us on instagram @twobsfromlild
The Bs decided that it was only fair to give Fall an episode, considering they gave Summer two. After discussing the lack of Fall in Texas, pumpkin mania, and even the word 'Autumn', the Bs realize they have some very strong feelings about Fall. In this episode, they blast to the past and relive the stress of picking a cake in the annual Fall Festival Cake Walk, debate buying a 12 ft tall skeleton after a game of 'Craigslist Price is Right', and brainstorm some Pumpkin Spice Latte alternatives (Squash Cold Brew, anyone??) So grab your Green Bean Smoothie (def sounds as tasty as pumpkin spice, right?), curl up by the fire (if you live somewhere cooler than Texas) and give it a listen!Follow us @twobsfromlild
