On The Patrick Madrid Show, a caller named Jared voices a concern shared by many Catholics today: could the Church ever change her teaching on homosexuality? With so many voices online casting doubt, Jared – himself a convert – wonders if he had put his trust in something that might shift under pressure. Patrick Madrid responds with clarity and conviction: the Church’s teaching on sexual morality has been consistent for 2,000 years and will never change. From the words of Jesus to the writings of St. Paul and the unbroken witness of the Church Fathers, the truth about chastity, purity of heart, and God’s plan for human love remains constant. While individuals may push for compromise, their opinions cannot overturn what Christ Himself established. Patrick reminds you that human nature hasn’t changed. The temptations of lust, pride, and rebellion existed 1,000 years ago just as they do today. Yet the Church stands firm, built on the rock of Christ’s promise that the “gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” Even in times of scandal, upheaval, or confusion, the truth remains unshaken. If you're feeling anxiety or fear, Patrick encourages you to focus less on what dissenting voices say and more on living faithfully. We can't control how others act, but we can only be responsible for our own decisions. He urges you to stay close to the sacraments, pray the Rosary, and trust Jesus’ promise that His Church will endure. As he put it, “If you stick with Jesus, you stay in the truth, you persist... everything is going to be okay. Jesus said so, and I believe it.” Patrick recommends Interior Freedom by Fr. Jacques Philippe, a book that helps you find peace and trust in God, even when storms rage around you. His message is clear: truth does not bend to culture, and the Catholic Church will never change her teaching on homosexuality – because it is the teaching of Christ Himself.
„Never change a running system“ – klingt logisch, ist aber eine gefährliche Halbwahrheit. In dieser Folge spreche ich darüber, warum es wichtig ist, funktionierende Systeme zu bewahren, aber gleichzeitig mutig genug zu sein, sie anzupassen, wenn dein Business wächst.
Church is not an organisation, but a living organism, which is not exempt from change. A church that remains strong through change is dependent on 3 core ingredients: 1) God doesn't change, 2) Jesus is the Head of the Church and 3) the Holy Spirit's reality and ability is all we need to establish God's unshakable kingdom on earth.

Most men think their dating habits are a matter of willpower. But your actions aren't powered by discipline — they're driven by the architecture of your choices. In this video, I'll show you how to rewire your dating life by designing an environment that shapes your habits automatically. This is the difference between constantly falling off track and becoming the kind of man women naturally chase. Whether it's how you set up your phone, who you follow, or what you see when you walk into your home — it all matters. Real confidence doesn't come from forcing better behaviour. It comes from building a world where better behaviour is the only option. This is how high-value men create consistency — without burnout. And it starts with one change. Have you ever felt stuck—like no matter how hard you try, you'll always be the same? That voice saying “You'll never change”? It's not the truth. The Potter Discussion: Harry Potter, Fantastic Beasts and the Wizarding World Fandom
Send us a textIn this episode, we discuss scenes that should never change. Enjoy!Topics/Summary:· 1:37 Ollivander's wand shop. This scene sets up the conflict between Voldemort and Harry, and without the careful assembly of this scene, the effect is lost. There's wind and light when Harry finds his wand, and Ollivander tells him of the twin cores and the greatness and terribleness that awaits him.· 8:41 Ron leaving the tent. This scene is really hard to watch, and that is because of the intensity of it. Harry and Ron exchanged words they never would have, and even have a little scuffle. Without the slow bubble and the escalation, this scene means less. We should be mad at the both of them, then realize what just happened when he leaves· 16:05 Battle of the Ministry of Magic. What a great scene. We don't need the exact shots and lighting, but we absolutely need the intensity that is brought by the progression of the battle. The true fight is between Dumbledore and Voldemort, so the run up to that should be a slow ramp up to an explosion of a duel.· 21:00 Final sequence of the Prisoner of Azkaban. Starting when the trio goes down to Hagrid's hut, this is a long sequence. We need to have Sirius standing up to Lupin and getting terribly injured so we realize just how hard he is willing to fight. We also need the fear inspired by the dementors and the fight by the lake to understand the growth of true evil in the world.Having anything you want to hear or say? It's a back-to-the-basics episode, on this week's Strat Sesh!TommyB and SFD take a break from exploration and discovery to get back to the tried-and-true. New processes, new analytics, etc., are always important, but there are also concepts that are evergreen… and the guys are out to identify them. Predictive overconfidence and its effect on the market, leaning into luck vs. fringe strategies, striving for efficiency, and missing with humility are important concepts for the current season of the season, and that is unlikely to ever change. So how does a dynasty manager lean in, and how does a manager pivot to these rigid fundamentals? The guys discuss this question, and oh so much more, on this week's Strat Sesh! The SuperFlex SuperShow – one of many great podcasts from the Dynasty League Football (@DLFootball) Family of Podcasts – is hosted by John Hogue (@SuperFlexDude) and Tommy Blair (@FFTommyB), and always dedicated in loving memory to James “The Brain” Koutoulas.
