Acts 18: 1-28: "Ministering at Corinth." This chapter tells the story about Apollo. Are you familiar with what is special about Apollo? If not, come and see! There's something here for everybody in today's Word! If you are blessed by today's Bible study, please support my channel by liking, subscribing, commenting, and sharing with your friends and family! I am not a Pastor, and agree with God's word that women are not supposed to be Pastors. However, all people are called to share the gospel. It is perfectly acceptable and Biblical for women to lead Bibles studies outside the church as an ancillary addition to the church, and especially if it is a viable avenue for study of the Word on a daily basis, like I'm doing on this show, and paving the way for all of us to be closer to the Lord and become more knowledgeable of the Bible. If you care to contribute to my work with the Daily Bible study and sharing the Gospel, as part of your tithes and offerings, you can do so through PayPal by sending it to my PayPal address of: ReneHoladay@gmail.com You are also welcome to email me at the same email address above if you have any thoughts you'd like to share about this episode! Thank you for watching and God Bless you all! ;() --------------------- The primary study bible that Rene' uses is the 'Spirit-filled Life Bible, by Jack Hayford, and is available in hard cover or faux leather on Amazon at: https://amzn.to/434fBnQ You can watch this episode on Youtube at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2v9ekffu7ds Please be sure to LIKE, SUBSCRIBE, COMMENT, and SHARE!
In Acts 18, we see the Apostle Paul arrive in Corinth, partner with Priscilla and Aquila, and boldly proclaim the gospel despite opposition. God speaks to Paul in a vision, reminding him: “Do not be afraid, but go on speaking, for I am with you.”This chapter reminds us that God strengthens His people in times of weakness, raises up faithful partners in ministry, and advances the gospel even in difficult places.Main scripture: Acts 18:1-4, 7-8; Ephesians 4:11-16; 1 Peter 2:9; 1 Corinthians 12:12; 2 Corinthians 5:18-20; Psalm 23

Significant Women with Carol McLeod | Carol Mcleod Ministries
This week, I'm joined by my dear friend, Jenny Randle. Jenny is a wife, mom, Bible teacher, author, and creative who is passionate about helping believers encounter the power of the Holy Spirit in everyday life. From her family's move to Amelia Island, to her own health struggles, to writing her fifth book The Promised Presence, Jenny shares how God's Spirit meets us in weakness, sustains us in hardship, and empowers us to live as witnesses of Jesus. You'll be encouraged, challenged, and inspired to lean in closer to the Spirit's work in your own journey.Key PointsJenny's story: raised Catholic, radically saved at 18, and shaped by a Pentecostal church. The turning point in her faith: learning that “nobody will save you except Jesus” during a health crisis. Her new book The Promised Presence—a Bible study through Luke and Acts exploring the power and authority of the Holy Spirit. How to contend for miracles, even when we don't see them right away.Understanding continuationist theology: why Jenny believes the gifts of the Spirit are still active today. The baptism of the Holy Spirit: what it means and how it empowers believers to endure and witness.Seeing the Holy Spirit throughout Scripture—from Genesis to Revelation.Acts as “to be continued”—we are living out the next chapter of the early church.Jenny's joy: beach walks with Jesus, parenting middle schoolers, and living present in creation.Resources MentionedJenny Randle's new book: The Promised Presence: An Introduction to the Holy Spirit's Power and AuthorityScripture references: Luke 24, Acts 1–2, Acts 1:8, Genesis 1:2, 1 Corinthians 13Jenny's ministry work at the Holy Spirit Ministry Center Have a prayer request or feedback?Email Carol at: carol@carolmcleodministries.comShe and her team would love to pray for you. As Paul's second missionary adventure winds down he leaves Corinth, goes back home to check in at Antioch, and then heads out again on what will be his third adventure. We see the church growing, and ministry opportunities expanding.
