Bobby Fong (@bobbyfong50_) is a seasoned veteran in the MotoAmerica paddock. At 32 years old, some might argue that "Bagger Bob" is just hitting his prime. Known for his aggressive and sometimes unorthodox riding style, Bobby is currently leading the MotoAmerica Superbike championship while also being a staple at the front of the King of the Baggers class. Additionally, he works a day job during race weekends as Events Coordinator and Racer Support specialist for the gear brand Dainese. Bobby's journey to this point has been anything but smooth; he has the bumps and bruises to prove it. Despite the adversities he's faced, Bobby has always stayed true to himself, his close circle of friends, and his family. We hope you enjoy getting to know this unfiltered version of Bobby Fong as much as we did. Follow @pipedreams_pod on social media! Talkin' Motorbikes with Bobby Fong. This is sort of a redo since we were interupted last time as he crossed into Canada. That being said, I'm curious his thoughts on doing the double-duty thing on race weekends.. riding Baggers and Superbike. He was sniffing at the podium this past weekend at Brainerd, and I'm sure we'll chat about that. Also he's sort of the track-side Dainese support dude. How does he do all that? Looking forward to this one for sure, hope you enjoy it. Raising money for the Arthritis Foundation this fall. Riding my bicycle from SF to LA 525miles. Talkin' Motorbikes with MotoAmerica pro racer Bobby Fong. This dude has been racing forever in a lot of different disaplines. From the talented kid at AFM races, all the way to pro Superbike rider and everything in between. We're going to talk about it. Recently he's been a bagger / hooligans type of dude, which should be fun to discuss, but also this past weekend at Ridge, he got his first taste of the ADR R1 superbike (which was Jake Gagne's Attack Yamaha R1 in 2022). Northern Californian Bobby Fong will race any motorcycle. His dirt track roots taught him how to steer with the rear end, and it's fueled his versatility. Now, he's back in the Medallia Superbike Championship, and aboard Aussie Dave Anthony's Wrench Motorcycles Yamaha YZF-R1. On this episode of Off Track With Carruthers And Bice, Bobby explains how he divides his time between his "day job" with Dainese and his responsibilities as a road racer in Mission King of The Baggers, the Mission Super Hooligan National Championship, and now, the Medallia Superbike Championship. Bobby Fong's career and life has changed a lot in the past few months. For starters, he won't be lining up on the MotoAmerica Medallia Superbike grid in 2022 as his career path has taken a turn with Fong taking a "real" job with Alpinestars. The 2019 MotoAmerica Supersport Champion is working for Alpinestars in their racer-support program and is currently traveling from Supercross to Supercross. In March, his work schedule will switch a bit more and he will be racing a Roland Sands Designs Indian in the MotoAmerica Mission King Of The Baggers season-opener at Daytona International Raceway. Following Daytona, Fong will compete in two more KOTB rounds while continuing his work with Alpinestars in the MotoAmerica paddock. Oh, and he also recently got engaged. We caught up with a busy Bobby Fong for this week's episode of Off Track With Carruthers And Bice to talk about the many changes in his life.Support the show (http://motoamerica.com)

Josh Hayes is a busy man at the MotoAmerica races with the four-time AMA Superbike Champion watching over several riders, including Bobby Fong and Cameron Petersen, in their quest for stardom as their rider coach. The Suzuki ECSTAR Championship at Road Atlanta is the first "Stand Alone" event for MotoAmerica in 2017. Following a successful outing with MotoGP at Circuit of the America's, the tractor trailer rigs have rolled into the rolling hillsides of Road Atlanta! In this episode of Talking Motorcycles we take a look backwards to the Round 1 in Austin and review what happened there. We then begin to look ahead to this weekend in Atlanta and beyond. There are many story lines developing already in 2017 and we will advance two of those in this episode. The Latus Motors Racing Quicksilver Lubricants Team has begun 2017 much as they ended 2016. They are exceeding everyone's expectations, except perhaps their own, as they have the Bazaaz Superstock 1000 points lead and are beating some very good Superbike teams in the process. Bobby Fong appears to have brought his A Game in 2017 and we check in with him in this edition of the show. Danny Walker has embarked on a new adventure in 2017 with a switch to the all new Honda CBR1000RR. Walker reduced expectations pre-season by discussing that this will be a development year for the team with the switch to Honda and the lack of parts availablity in the early season. They have great chemistry with Scott Jensen leading the charge in developing the new Honda big bore and their experienced rider Jake Gagne. COTA may not have produced the results they were hoping for but Walker is a proven winner and one of the most determine team owners in the sport. We look forward to checking in with DW pre-Atlanta!
