Jim and Rich try to get together and chat about Philip Island and Sepang, but technology let us down. Rich's internet left the chat leaving Jim to finish the show by himself. The guys did cover some listener feedback and got through the news together. After that Jim covered all the racing action. At PI a second world champion was crowned as Rueda locked up the 25 Moto3 championship. Hometown hero Senna Agius won the Moto2 race and Jack Miller Tried his hardest to be on the podium but crashed out. The teams then moved to Sepang where Alex Marquez secured second place in the world championship marking the first time brothers have finished one two in the history of the top class. The Moto3 race had a crazy crash on the sighting lap that caused the race to be shortened to 10 laps and the Moto2 race was moved to after the MotoGP race. Furusato won his first ever Moto3 race and Jack Dixon won the Moto2 class. We talk about Moto2 and if we cursed had cursed Manuel Gonzalez?Alex Marquez wins a race.
1st of the final three rounds of Moto GP 2025 is over and we're here to report on it!! Ducati seems like maybe they've figured something out for their top Italian rider, or is it just another round of what we saw in Motegi? Unfortunately Bagnaia's extremely impressive weekend ended early on Sunday, after watching him claw through Q1 top Q2 and hold a perfect sprint position and speed, his winning and even finishing hopes were cut short when he had a puncture appear in his rear tire about halfway through the race. Sadly this also means that Bezzecchi was able to steal 3rd in the championship back from him, we'll see who ends up holding it at the end of the season! Alex Marquez had a great weekend, finishing 2nd on Saturday meant officially securing 2nd place in the 2025 championship, and following that up on Sunday with a win just to prove he could, brought home the best satellite team prize for his team Gresini!! Beyond that we got to see another wonderful performance from our used to be KTM rookie Acosta! Only two rounds left to enjoy of this wonderful MotoGP season!!! https://fantasy.motogp.com/ Code: NF9ZDUE9

De mindezek előtt hosszan beszélünk a hétvégi Moto3-as balesetről is, a lehető legtöbb oldalról megvilágítva.

Adam and Neil are on the ground in Malaysia and call-up Dave to chew through some of the heroics and hiccups of the 20th round of the season. After discussing the shocking start to the day with the Moto3 accident the guys also speak about Alex Marquez's third win, Pecco's puncture, KTM's bounceback and the ongoing Honda revival. Plus, ‘Moments', ‘Hire & Fires' and ‘Grades'.
There's some days in racing that everyone dreads, knowing that they might be inevitable. Today was one of them, with a horrible crash in Moto3 between José Antonio Rueda and Noah Dettwiler seeing both taken to the hospital and the latter undergoing several emergency surgeries. Our thoughts go out to them.Meanwhile, in MotoGP, you'd be forgiven for thinking that it's business as usual with Alex Marquez snatching another victory for his ever-growing collection. But let's look beyond that and see some very interesting things going on. Accosta rides as a born-again man, and Bagnaia is just nailing it right now. But wait, how did that happen? Does this mean Pecco's dark days are finally over? And what caused the troubles in the first place? Well, here's the thing. Mat has the official story, but Peter doesn't buy it. In fact, he's gone out and gathered five reasons that might explain what's going on. Some are likely. Others are unhinged. All are theories. So get ready to dive behind the scenes and deep into the pitlane, as we head straight into some fascinating technical dilemma's and lovely loony conspiracies…Want more?

Marc. Sachsenring. I think we all know how this is likely to end up. I try to figure out if anyone has a chance against Marquez in the GermanGP. From the iconic racing track in the Netherlands we see an epic weekend of racing with "surprises" all around!! Marc Marquez, who said himself he wasn't planning on doing well, despite qualifying on the 2nd row managed to once again prove why he deserves to remain in MotoGP!! MotoGP standings for the 2025 championship seem to be almost completely decided as a big wreck from Alex Marquez left him with a DNF and some surgeries to clear up his injuries! From 5th on the grid we saw the rising Aprilia star Marco Bezzecchi pull a 3rd place and 2nd place in the sprint and race, proving that the mighty Aprilia might in-fact still be a contender this season!! Follow that with a surprising top 5 finish from not one but two KTM's and we had quite the brand spread in the top finishing spots!! Sadly the tale was not to tell from our main Yamaha rider Fabio Quartararo, who could not follow up his hot qualifying lap with a healthy race finishing place!! All this coverage and more as always in your favorite motorcycle podcast!!! https://fantasy.motogp.com/ Code: NF9ZDUE9
Dre Harrison and Oriol Puigdemont return to host another edition of Tank Slappers, as Marc Marquez made history at the 100th Anniversary of racing at the Assen TT. With his 68th Premier Class victory, he tied the legendary Giacomo Agostini for second on the all-time wins list, with only Valentino Rossi ranking higher. But Marquez didn't have it easy - Aprilia's Marco Bezzecchi pushed him all the way to the flag, but was unable to get close enough to pass for the win. Dre and Oriol discuss how this plays perfectly into the Mugello talk from fans and some members of the media in regards to Alex Marquez's racecraft and the allegations that the Marquez brothers weren't racing each other hard enough, and why more criticism should be levelled at Pecco Bagnaia's garage... There's more on Alex Marquez during the show, after the Spaniard broke the metacarpal in his hand after crashing into Pedro Acosta in the Grand Prix, and with it, falling to 68 points behind brother Marc in the Championship standings. Jorge Martin is back in the news after his agent continued to up the pressure on Aprilia, by claiming his client is still leaving at the end of the season, with Aprilia continuing to deny that the release clause exists in a feud where even Dorna CEO Carmelo Ezepelta's had to intervene. Is there any resoultion on the horizon? And finally, with his first win in Moto2 confirmed, is Diego Moreira on the way to MotoGP? Oriol discusses the Brazilian's options with the sport keen to promote him with a home Grand Prix set for 2026.

After a year of announcements, wait, anticipation and an investigation by the European Commission, Liberty Media were finally given the green light to complete their majority purchase of Dorna Sports, the commercial rights holders of MotoGP, for $4.2 billion. On this week's episode of Tank Slappers, Dre Harrison, Richard Asher and Uri Puigdemont break down the move and what they hope will be the key areas that Liberty focuses on in order to grow the sport, such as revenue sharing, marketing improvements, and getting people to care about the riders, like F1 has with "Drive to Survive". All the action from the past weekend's Italian Grand Prix is also reviewed, with Marc Marquez taking control early on and never looking back enroute to his fifth win of 2025, and his first at Mugello since 2014. With Alex Marquez second again and Pecco Bagnaia off the podium, is the title battle already over? There's also a discussion in regards to whether Alex Marquez is racing his brother differently to others, and the struggles that Bagnaia has faced in Ducati. And finally, Franco Morbidelli was in the spotlight for causing a nasty crash with Maverick Vinales that led to the Italian taking a Long Lap Penalty. But is the current system in place not harsh enough for ending another riders race?

Simon Patterson, Val Khorounzhiy and Matt Beer debate what might be Bagnaia's most painful 2025 low so far on The Race MotoGP Podcast. As Bagnaia fell back, at least Alex Marquez was there to take the fight to Marc - but how hard was he really fighting? The siblings' (conspicuously gentle?) approach to racing each other is another hot topic after the Italian Grand Prix, as is stewarding after yet another Franco Morbidelli incident. We also tackle plenty of questions from The Race Members' Club on topics including Yamaha and Honda's awful weekends, the power balance between Maverick Vinales and Pedro Acosta at KTM, and where Fabio Di Giannantonio's sudden performance came from.Want more MotoGP podcast content? Actually, though! — Alex makes his gory return to celebrate not only our birthday (remember, we share a birthday and it's literally today), but our long awaited (at least for Stanley) 50th episode where we finally take the time to slash up and bleed out the last six months of our lives -- what we've been up to, the places we've been, the changes that have occurred, and of course, the movies that we've seen!Included: our bloody thoughts on Sinners, Clown in a Cornfield, Fear Street: The Prom Queen, Final Destination: Bloodlines, and a few more! And don't worry -- there's even a fun Friday the 13th trivia game! We're glad to be back, and thank you for your patience while we've gotten our lives back on track. Stay tuned until the end of the episode, where we reveal what we discuss in episode 51! Spoiler: to say it's Pride-worthy is an understatement... hahah! Fight us!Stay gory, stay proud, and stay gay.-TGGSupport the showInstagram @thegorygays / YouTube @thegorygays / Threads @thegorygays
Round Eight of MotoGP brings us to Aragon Spain, home for two very famous racers on our grid, conveniently the same two that have been absolutely dominating the 2025 season so far. This weekend was no different as after a 10 year hiatus Marc Marquez once again produced an absolutely perfect weekend finishing 1st in every session and race possible throughout the weekend!! Behind him, we did see the same familiar blue colors of his brother Alex Marquez, but after that we actually saw a bit of a mix up on the grid for once! The Austrian manufacturer that has been lacking so far this year finally showed up with some speed and power to come home with at least one bike in the top 5 both days!! Further back on the grid, but not quite as far as we're used to we saw an Aprilia keeping it inside the top 10, then sadly even further back, at least on Saturday, we saw a lonely Pecco Bagnaia brining home no points Saturday but snagging a podium finish for Sunday!!! More than enough exciting racing was happening all over the track, both days of the weekend to include our riders of the week giving a very good show!! Make sure you vote for your winner of the week between the two that we chose Franco Morbidelli and Pedro Acosta!!! https://fantasy.motogp.com/ Code: NF9ZDUE9
It was a truly perfect weekend in Aragon for Championship leader, Marc Marquez. Dre Harrison sits down with Richard Asher and Uri Puigdemont to review a stunning weekend from the Spaniard, with a Grand Chelem victory, and the first rider to lead in every single session across the weekend since... Marc himself did it in Germany back in 2015. It was a close fight from behind as Alex Marquez limited the Championship damage with another pair of second place finishes, with Francesco Bagnaia making a big change in his brake discs that earned him a podium finish, and according to the man himself, some regained confidence after just four points in his previous five races. Is it the first sign of a turnaround by the former Champion. There's also some focus on today's news that two-time World Superbike Champion Toprak Razgatlıoğlu will be heading to MotoGP in 2026 with Prima Pramac Racing. The trio discuss why this is a fun but "risky" move by the Turkish rider and what challenges may lie ahead. And finally a wrap-up of the rest of the weekend's action, including Pedro Acosta's dispondent feelings despite a fourth place finish, what could have been for Marco Bezzecchi's Aprilia after a horrible Qualifying session, and the unpredictable future of KTM with rumours Herve Poncheral at Tech3 might be prepared to sell his team.

Tune in with Stanley as he slashes up and bleeds out the most definitely forgotten sequel to the beloved late 80's monster-opus, but fear not, because there's as much to love as there is to hate with this messy sequel! Ami Dolenz, for starters, and tons of gory special effects thanks to early work of KNB! Remember, this is an intro clip only! so go be a Patron today! Alex Marquez said to the media at the start of the season that he might win a MotoGP race, 'If his brother let him." And in his 93rd attempt, at his home Grand Prix, the younger Marquez brother finally has his first GP victory. Dre Harrison is joined by Autosport MotoGP reporter Richard Asher, and Motorsport.com MotoGP writer Uri Puigdemont to review an incredibly dramatic Spanish GP weekend with 100,000 in attendance in Jerez. If you didn't know any better, you may have thought Alex Marquez took a page out of his older brother's book to win across the weekend. Two crashes on Friday, then a lap record in practise, and then taking advantage of Marc crashing early on, making one pass for the lead, and then taking off. But is the Spaniard a genuine title contender now he's leading the standings again by just a single point. What about the factory Ducati camp? Pecco Bagnaia was very vocal about struggling to extract the full speed out of his GP25, esepcially with the Sprint tank in on Saturday's. And as for Marc Marquez, is he struggling to figure out where the limit is on his bike after another Sunday crash? Fabio Quartararo had an incredible weekend, with his first pole position for Yamaha in nearly three years, and second place in the GP, their first podium in a year and a half. Is there hope for the factory, and how is their V4 coming along? And with back-to-back strong races from Maverick Vinales, is Pedro Acosta under more pressure to leave KTM? All that and more on a busy episode of Tank Slappers!
Well that one got interesting! Saturday goes to plan, but Sunday was FULL of surprises in Jerez, including a first-time winner! I recap the SpanishGP, review the MotoGP Standings, discuss the dynamic between Marc and Pecco, and lots more! The Rundown:- Qualifying: where did Fabio come from?- The Sprint: Lots of awesome fans, not much on-track action- The MotoGP Race: We finally get some surprises! - Is Marc rattled by Pecco?- Alex Marquez gets the spotlight to himself- Fabio lights it up - he just needs a bike to do that every time- Did Pecco set himself up fo fall short?- Maverick Vinales continues to look good, and so does VR46- What is up with Joan Mir? His retirement stats continue to be staggering- The MotoGP Championship picture - who has the upper hand?- My Take on the SpanishGPWhat did you think of Jerez? Marc Marquez has won three of the 2025 MotoGP season's grands prix so far but crashed out of the other two - and that means he's once again lost the championship lead after the Spanish Grand Prix.Simon Patterson and Matt Beer convene for a quick mini-episode of The Race MotoGP Podcast to try to figure out what's going on with Marc's errors, how Fabio Quartararo and Yamaha came so close to winning a race and what Alex Marquez finally getting that elusive grand prix victory (and retaking the points lead) means for the season. And The Race Members' Club had plenty of opinions on all three topics for us to factor in too. We'll be back for a full podcast after Monday's post-race test at Jerez to go deeper into the weekend's many storylines.Want more MotoGP podcast content?
There's no MotoGP race this weekend, so as a bonus we thought we'd share Val's Qatar GP rider rankings Q&A, which is usually members-only content. Regular listeners will know that Val's rider rankings are posted to The Race website after each race. We then invite The Race Members' Club to send in follow-up questions, which Val then answers in an exclusive video posted to Patreon. For example, in this one he muses on where Fabio di Giannantonio and Alex Marquez would have placed had they not crashed into other riders. If you enjoy this episode and would like to get every subsequent one, plus ad-free episodes and our exclusive MotoGP Revisited series on the 2015 season, why not join The Race Members' Club today? And don't worry if you're only interested in MotoGP and none of The Race's four-wheeled coverage - we have a riders-only tier! Head to Patreon.com/therace today to sign up. A frenzied Qatar Grand Prix weekend is discussed on the latest edition of The Race MotoGP Podcast, with Maverick Vinales stealing the spotlight away from the Marc Marquez-Alex Marquez-Pecco Bagnaia title fight.Simon Patterson and Valentin Khorounzhiy discuss the Vinales performance - and the fact it has been effectively stricken from the record books by a tyre pressure penalty. But why was Vinales so quick, how encouraged should KTM be and what does the weekend say about Pedro Acosta? In terms of the title fight, should Bagnaia be worried about another heavy defeat versus Marquez - or can he simply view it as a consequence of his qualifying error? There's also a discussion of Jorge Martin's latest bad injury and of the collision between Alex Marquez and Fabio Di Giannantonio that left the former apologetic and the latter deeply incensed.Want more MotoGP podcast content?
