Paddock Pass Podcast - Motorcycle Racing - MotoGP - World Superbike
The first half of the WorldSBK season is in the books and Steve and Gordo get you up to date with the latest news from inside the paddock as Nicolo Bulega continues his relentless drive to a first Superbike title. The Italian is still perfect for 2026 with 18 wins from 18 starts but Sunday's Superpole Race saw him pushed harder than at any point thus far. His harder rear tyre proved the difference maker but, as ever, Bulega found a way to win. What must Iker Lecuona be thinking? The Spainard, 15 times a runner-up finisher this year, is hunting for his first WorldSBK victory. He's hurting too because he knows how close he keeps coming to that success. His reward for his hard work will be seen this weekend in MotoGP where he'll replace Alex Marquez. Outside of the Aruba.it Ducati riders there was plenty to talk about but Gordo's conversations with Tommy Bridewell have certainly left an impression. The Englishman had his best finish of the season, fifth position in Race 1, and is making the most out of his Ducati V4R to reap some good results.
Dre Harrison, Peter McLaren and Lewis Duncan come together to review a harrowing Catalan GP weekend. The weekend was marred by two huge crashes on Sunday. Pedro Acosta's KTM cutting out on the back straight leading to Alex Marquez riding into him at full speed, breaking his collarbone and sending him to hospital. This before a restarted race led to Johann Zarco heading to hospital with torn ligaments in his knee after being hooked on Pecco Bagnaia's Ducati. The race was won by Fabio di Giannantonio at the third time of asking. Many questions are asked, such as whether KTM should have been allowed to continue, must the show always go on for MotoGP? Does Barcelona need resurfacing and yet more safety changes? And does MotoGP need a riders union to unify their voice? Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
Pre-season er over. Pedro Acosta puster dem i nakken.
New host Dre Harrison joins Pete McLaren and Lewis Duncan for a full review of the 2026 MotoGP Sepang Test, looking across the grid from Yamaha, to Ducati. For Yamaha, it was a disaster, with lead rider Fabio Quartararo breaking a finger and missing two days of running, followed by the entire factory sitting out Day 2 with engine concerns. Is this the beginning of the end for Fabio at Yamaha?Honda and KTM are both looking promising, witn Joan Mir fastest on Day 2, with Pedro Acosta positive, but self-critical. But is Acosta heading to Ducati, and if Fabio's Honda bound, who does he replace?Aprilia look like they're still next in line behind Ducati, but are they bringing in Pecco Bagnaia to replace Jorge Martin, who seems to be heading to Yamaha? And could Ducati be losing its insurance policy in Alex Marquez, with KTM's factory money tempting the Spaniard?

Moto GP 2025 is officially closed welcoming with it the beginning of the next season, and the last season of 1000cc bike on the MotoGP Grid!! Valencia left us feeling a little weird as we saw maybe some of the strangest things we've seen yet this year! From Franco Morbidelli wrecking it on the starting grid, to Pecco Bagnaia not finishing the race again this weekend seemed to have it all!! Luckily that still meant plenty of great racing from some of our top riders this year including, Marco Bezzecchi, Alex Marquez, Pedro Acosta, and Raul Fernandez? That's right even the satellite Aprilia rider showed some amazing strength leaving 2025, so much that we're wondering what the Italian factory might be able to do next year with the solid rider line up they have! As we close out Motorcycle racing for the year and enter the cold downtime we also wrap up JKMoto Podcast for the last time, covering our recent trip out to MSRH with Josh Bittinger and some plans for our racing future! JKMoto Podcast isn't necessarily disappearing, but we won't be hosting the regular show anymore. Expect to see us from time to time hopefully with some great guests and as always Great Entertainment!! Thanks to everyone that has supported over the years!
On the podcast this week, we discuss the Portuguese Grand Prix and the dominant performance of Marco Bezzecchi at Portimao.

Jim and Rich try to get together and chat about Philip Island and Sepang, but technology let us down. Rich's internet left the chat leaving Jim to finish the show by himself. The guys did cover some listener feedback and got through the news together. After that Jim covered all the racing action. At PI a second world champion was crowned as Rueda locked up the 25 Moto3 championship. Hometown hero Senna Agius won the Moto2 race and Jack Miller Tried his hardest to be on the podium but crashed out. The teams then moved to Sepang where Alex Marquez secured second place in the world championship marking the first time brothers have finished one two in the history of the top class. The Moto3 race had a crazy crash on the sighting lap that caused the race to be shortened to 10 laps and the Moto2 race was moved to after the MotoGP race. Furusato won his first ever Moto3 race and Jack Dixon won the Moto2 class. We talk about Moto2 and if we cursed had cursed Manuel Gonzalez?Alex Marquez wins a race.
1st of the final three rounds of Moto GP 2025 is over and we're here to report on it!! Ducati seems like maybe they've figured something out for their top Italian rider, or is it just another round of what we saw in Motegi? Unfortunately Bagnaia's extremely impressive weekend ended early on Sunday, after watching him claw through Q1 top Q2 and hold a perfect sprint position and speed, his winning and even finishing hopes were cut short when he had a puncture appear in his rear tire about halfway through the race. Sadly this also means that Bezzecchi was able to steal 3rd in the championship back from him, we'll see who ends up holding it at the end of the season! Alex Marquez had a great weekend, finishing 2nd on Saturday meant officially securing 2nd place in the 2025 championship, and following that up on Sunday with a win just to prove he could, brought home the best satellite team prize for his team Gresini!! Beyond that we got to see another wonderful performance from our used to be KTM rookie Acosta! Only two rounds left to enjoy of this wonderful MotoGP season!!! https://fantasy.motogp.com/ Code: NF9ZDUE9

Adam and Neil are on the ground in Malaysia and call-up Dave to chew through some of the heroics and hiccups of the 20th round of the season. After discussing the shocking start to the day with the Moto3 accident the guys also speak about Alex Marquez's third win, Pecco's puncture, KTM's bounceback and the ongoing Honda revival. Plus, ‘Moments', ‘Hire & Fires' and ‘Grades'.
There's some days in racing that everyone dreads, knowing that they might be inevitable. Today was one of them, with a horrible crash in Moto3 between José Antonio Rueda and Noah Dettwiler seeing both taken to the hospital and the latter undergoing several emergency surgeries. Our thoughts go out to them.Meanwhile, in MotoGP, you'd be forgiven for thinking that it's business as usual with Alex Marquez snatching another victory for his ever-growing collection. But let's look beyond that and see some very interesting things going on. Accosta rides as a born-again man, and Bagnaia is just nailing it right now. But wait, how did that happen? Does this mean Pecco's dark days are finally over? And what caused the troubles in the first place? Well, here's the thing. Mat has the official story, but Peter doesn't buy it. In fact, he's gone out and gathered five reasons that might explain what's going on. Some are likely. Others are unhinged. All are theories. So get ready to dive behind the scenes and deep into the pitlane, as we head straight into some fascinating technical dilemma's and lovely loony conspiracies…Want more?

Dre Harrison and Oriol Puigdemont return to host another edition of Tank Slappers, as Marc Marquez made history at the 100th Anniversary of racing at the Assen TT. With his 68th Premier Class victory, he tied the legendary Giacomo Agostini for second on the all-time wins list, with only Valentino Rossi ranking higher. But Marquez didn't have it easy - Aprilia's Marco Bezzecchi pushed him all the way to the flag, but was unable to get close enough to pass for the win. Dre and Oriol discuss how this plays perfectly into the Mugello talk from fans and some members of the media in regards to Alex Marquez's racecraft and the allegations that the Marquez brothers weren't racing each other hard enough, and why more criticism should be levelled at Pecco Bagnaia's garage... There's more on Alex Marquez during the show, after the Spaniard broke the metacarpal in his hand after crashing into Pedro Acosta in the Grand Prix, and with it, falling to 68 points behind brother Marc in the Championship standings. Jorge Martin is back in the news after his agent continued to up the pressure on Aprilia, by claiming his client is still leaving at the end of the season, with Aprilia continuing to deny that the release clause exists in a feud where even Dorna CEO Carmelo Ezepelta's had to intervene. Is there any resoultion on the horizon? And finally, with his first win in Moto2 confirmed, is Diego Moreira on the way to MotoGP? Oriol discusses the Brazilian's options with the sport keen to promote him with a home Grand Prix set for 2026.

After a year of announcements, wait, anticipation and an investigation by the European Commission, Liberty Media were finally given the green light to complete their majority purchase of Dorna Sports, the commercial rights holders of MotoGP, for $4.2 billion. On this week's episode of Tank Slappers, Dre Harrison, Richard Asher and Uri Puigdemont break down the move and what they hope will be the key areas that Liberty focuses on in order to grow the sport, such as revenue sharing, marketing improvements, and getting people to care about the riders, like F1 has with "Drive to Survive". All the action from the past weekend's Italian Grand Prix is also reviewed, with Marc Marquez taking control early on and never looking back enroute to his fifth win of 2025, and his first at Mugello since 2014. With Alex Marquez second again and Pecco Bagnaia off the podium, is the title battle already over? There's also a discussion in regards to whether Alex Marquez is racing his brother differently to others, and the struggles that Bagnaia has faced in Ducati. And finally, Franco Morbidelli was in the spotlight for causing a nasty crash with Maverick Vinales that led to the Italian taking a Long Lap Penalty. But is the current system in place not harsh enough for ending another riders race?

Simon Patterson, Val Khorounzhiy and Matt Beer debate what might be Bagnaia's most painful 2025 low so far on The Race MotoGP Podcast. As Bagnaia fell back, at least Alex Marquez was there to take the fight to Marc - but how hard was he really fighting? The siblings' (conspicuously gentle?) approach to racing each other is another hot topic after the Italian Grand Prix, as is stewarding after yet another Franco Morbidelli incident. We also tackle plenty of questions from The Race Members' Club on topics including Yamaha and Honda's awful weekends, the power balance between Maverick Vinales and Pedro Acosta at KTM, and where Fabio Di Giannantonio's sudden performance came from.Want more MotoGP podcast content?
