A dicembre l inflazione in Italia torna a correre: +1,2% su base annua.

And so it ended. Max, Oscar and Lando finished one-two-three on the Abu Dhabi road - but it was Lando who was thus ahead in the final standings of the FIA Drivers' World Championship by the margin of two points. Lando Norris = World Champion. Max was magnificent from the pole; Oscar ran hard Pirellis from the start (rather than the Mediums selected by all the other major runners) and, in so doing, applied some pressure on Max for most of the distance; towards the end, though, on old-ish Hards, Max was super-quick and super-consistent as he consolidated his margin over Oscar. Lando brought his McLaren MCL39-Mercedes home in a crafted third place, responding to potential undercuts from George Russell and Charles Leclerc and scything through the mid-field traffic whenever he was on fresh tyres; and Charles Leclerc finished a dazzling P4 for Ferrari, upstaging the factory Mercedes of George Russell and ultimately setting fastest lap late in the race on used Mediums. Into P6, behind George, came a classy Fernando Alonso in the Aston Martin-Mercedes, Esteban Ocon (Haas-Ferrari) and Sir Lewis Hamilton, who had started P16 in his Ferrari. We're back to break down the 2025 Qatar Grand Prix from lights-out sprint mayhem all the way to Sunday's main event — and yes, we're talking about the headline: Pirelli's tire lap limit and the reasoning behind it. We dig into why the rule even existed, how teams tried to game it, and the pit-strategy elephant that stomped through the paddock all weekend.Max Verstappen stays right in the title fight because, of course he does. McLaren… well, “papaya rules” are looking more like papaya problems right now, and we unpack how that floundering weekend could change the championship math heading into Abu Dhabi. Meanwhile Carlos Sainz continues his world tour of being criminally underrated, Ferrari is already emotionally living in 2026, and Haas might've had a rough one — but somehow the American B-team is starting to look like the most stable Ferrari on the grid.Qatar gave us drama, confusion, and just enough chaos to keep the season spicy. Let's talk about all of it.
Spanish journalist Albert Fabrega joins Tom Clarkson in the Qatar paddock to discuss the news that Adrian Newey will become Aston Martin Team Principal from 2026. Why have Aston appointed the legendary designer to this new role? How well suited is Adrian to leading a team? And what do Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll make of the decision? Tom and Albert also discuss the championship permutations going into the penultimate round of the season. What does Lando Norris need to be crowned World Champion this weekend? With Max Verstappen closing in, will McLaren change their approach? And who could benefit from the mandatory tyre stints Pirelli have introduced for this race?
