Ohio State tight end Will Kacmarek has spent much of his college career outside of the spotlight. Today in history, Bill Bender of the Sporting News, Quick Hitters: Big wins for USF and Oklahoma, Buckeyes roll Grambling State 70-0 and recapping the rest of the CFB/NFL weekend.

For the third time of the Ryan Day era, Ohio State managed to shut out an opponent, with this time Grambling being its victim in a 70-0 win. This game also marked the fifth time a Day team has scored at least 70 points. The others were a 76-5 win over Miami (OH) and a 73-14 win over Maryland in 2019, and a 77-21 win over Toledo in 2022. Games like this provide a chance to play a ton of depth and plenty of young guys took advantage of it.
