Ohio State has been impressive overall through the first four games of the season, but there is the feeling that the offense has been holding some things back. Will the Buckeyes open things up against visiting Minnesota this Saturday night? The Golden Gophers are 3-1, but gave up 27 points in a loss at Cal and gave up 28 points in a win over Rutgers. Therefore, this could be an opportunity to cut quarterback Julian Sayin loose and attack deep down the field on a more regular basis. Also, how about this OSU offensive line? It is somehow not getting enough attention. We are doing our small part to change that. That and much more is coming your way on the Monday 5ish. Tony Gerdeman joins Juck on Buckeye Huddle Primetime to recap the Washington win and what it means for the Buckeyes moving forward.
The Ohio State offense got off to another slow start on the road against Washington, before taking control of the game in the second half. What is causing Ryan Day and Brian Hartline's offense to bog down in the red zone at key moments? And are the Buckeyes leaning too heavily on tight end-heavy personnel packages like 13 and 14 at the expense of their elite wide receiver unit?Ross Fulton, the Xs and Os guru at BuckeyeHuddle.com joins host Tom Orr to discuss that, as well as some downfield passing opportunities that QB Julian Sayin may not have capitalized on.
