Welcome to another special bonus episode about NaNo (aka National Novel Writing Month)! This is our very, very late follow-up for our previous Camp NaNo episode. In case you don't know, Camp NaNo is a modified challenge that takes place in both April and July, where you get more flexibility with word count or can even choose to use the time to edit a previous project. In this episode, we discuss Em's experience this year with both the April and July Camp NaNos. Website: romanceMEpodcast.com | Twitter: @romanceMEcast
Kelli and Zara talk about preparing for Camp NaNoWriMo: July 2022 edition. - https://ko-fi.com/writeish
I know I'm not the only writer that signed up to do Camp NaNo and didn't finish. If you did, congrats! The rest of us... we didn't, and we felt like bad writers. We saw everyone else posting their banners and badges and it only made us feel worse. Can I tell you something? You are NOT a bad writer. Life happens. Maybe you missed a day and couldn't catch up? Yes it takes discipline, but is there another way? I'm here to tell how you can finish without having to write every day like NaNo recommends. Today's episode is a write-in to help kick off Camp NaNoWriMo (visit www.nanowrimo.org for more information) as well as NaPoWriMo (National Poetry Writing Month which isn't hosted by an organization - but is basically to write a poem every day for the entire month of April which is World Poetry Month). I think this episode is a great way to get your feet wet and to see what a guided write-in might feel like - in case you're interested in joining more! Last full week of camp nano. I’m nearly 20k away from finishing but it hasn’t been easy. Ever heard of hitting the wall? This phrase is common among runners right before they hit the finish line in a race. This “wall” technically doesn’t exist, but it can play on the mind to where most give up and don’t finish. I’m seeing the same with writing but staying the course is key. Have a listen. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/daria-white/message
