The WNBA should absolutely be made to disappear through market forces. They simply are a grievance machine filled with coveting, jealousy, and rage.  We take a look at the toxic culture of the WNBA and how this same culture has seeped into other many other places in our society. What does God's Word say? Mark 11:25  And whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.”Matthew 18:21-22  Then Peter came up and said to him, “Lord, how often will my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? As many as seven times?” Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you seven times, but seventy-seven times.Episode 1,659 Links:Bernie Sanders: Women should not have to fight against patriarchy for their basic human rights. The WNBA is baffled why they're struggling to attract viewers. Lindsay explains to a pair of Cal alums (who wanted her to stay in Berkeley forever) why she became the first head coach of a Power Five women’s program to bolt for the NBA, pinpointing the moment she first viewed such a move as more than a pipe dream and its potential impact on future generations. She looks back on Cal’s breathtaking run to the 2013 Final Four (and the emotional assists the Golden Bears got from Kobe Bryant and President Obama), her tumultuous but fulfilling first year with the Cleveland Cavaliers and why a photo of Rockets star James Harden holding her young son left her feeling less than celebratory. We also learn what it’s like to be Mike Silver’s friend in a city that hates him, how Mike blew his chance to attend the same Ivy League school as Lindsay, and why Natalie got red-carded during a soccer tournament championship game on Mike’s birthday.

She was sixth woman of the year as rookie in the WNBA and also won a WNBA title in her career.  Candice describes the moment that she first prayed for help with basketball, while in the middle of becoming the first basketball player (male or female) to score over 40 points in two games during the NCAA tournament. Well, outrageous if you're a leftist. David Friedman, Trump's choice for U.S. Envoy to Israel, has rejected the idea on the Jewish state commonly held by previous presidents (both Republican and Democratic). He says that Israel is not an occupier of Muslim territory against international law, and, going even further, the Jewish State has as much of a right if not more of a right to the West Bank than the Palestinians. Learn his rationale and see why the guys agree with him completely.-Former WNBA star Candice Wiggins has made the claim that she was forced into retirement due to “too many lesbians” bullying her due to her heterosexuality throughout her career. She claimed that the league is 98 percent lesbian. Whether that figure is anywhere close to accurate is irrelevant; she will not get the empathy she seeks from the left.-2017 will be remembered for the greatest Oscar presentation ever! Sort of. A luxury cruise with Ted Cruz? *Doubtful even Heidi would want that last one...The guys eat "Peep" flavored Oreos in the latest edition of SPOONS! “We are professional code-switchers, hair-flippers, hip-shakers, and go-getters. We hold Ph.Ds and listen to trap music; we twerk and we work. We hold it down while lifting each other up, and we don’t have to justify or explain our reason for being. This is us.” That's how Dr. Yaba Blay describes the inspiration for her latest project, Professional Black Girl. The video series features interviews with seventeen Black women and girls ranging in age from 2 to 52, and aims to challenge racist expectations of what is "respectable." And a lot of the interviewees talk about a topic that sits right on top of their heads. "Some of my closest friends, one of the things that we tend to bond over, laugh about, kiki, has to do with hair memories," Blay says. "Whether it's old-school hairstyles or old-school products." Blay joins us this week to talk about the project, which debuts on YouTube September 9th (and features our own Dr. Story in one episode!). And two stories from the world of sports have us scratching our heads this week: Professional boxer Yusaf Mack had been the victim of homophobic slurs online, so he found his harasser at a barbershop and gave him a professional-strength beating. The whole thing was caught on video, and the man who got whooped said he would fight the boxer again. And former WNBA guard Candice Wiggins made headlines this week when she told the Chicago Tribune she was bullied by teammates for being straight. "So many people think you have to look like a man, play like a man to get respect," she was quoted as saying. "I was the opposite. I was proud to a be a woman, and it didn’t fit well in that culture." Other WNBA players have denounced Wiggins' comments as untrue.

Once Johnson did, Candice’s mother decided to take her three children out of basketball where Alan had faced racism, and became, what Candice calls, a “basketball family.” Those three children went onto college on basketball scholarships. Candice ended up at Stanford, where she graduated as the highest all-time leading scorer in the Pac-10 women's basketball history.
