Hour 1: Today is our final show from the media center in Phoenix. It's been a strange week. Boomer is back today after being very ill yesterday. Boomer's daughter sent an IV nurse to his room. Gio is embracing the fact that he is going to get the Norovirus from Boomer. The Rangers made a trade with the Blues and Boomer likes it. There is very little buzz for this Super Bowl for a lot of reasons. Jerry is here for his first update of the day but first there's a Twitter poll for who on the staff will get the Norovirus from Boomer. Gio is in the early lead. The Jets dominated the NFL Honors with REVIS and KLECKO going into the Hall and Sauce and Garrett Wilson winning offensive and defensive rookies of the year. Woody Johnson talked about the Jets QB situation and called it ‘plug and play'. Brian DABOLL won Coach of The Year and we listened to his acceptance speech. Patrick MAHOMES was named MVP. Michael Irvin filed a $100 million lawsuit and Brett Favre is suing Shannon Sharpe and Pat McAfee. Sean Marks has a message for the fans who already renewed season tix before KD and Kyrie were traded. In the final segment of the hour, we talked about Woody Johnson's comments on the Jets QB situation. Hour 2: Michael Irvin filed a $100 million lawsuit against the hotel and the accuser for a situation that went down earlier this week in Phoenix. His lawyer is claiming Irvin is a victim of cancel culture. And Brett Favre is suing Shannon Sharpe and Pat McAfee for comments about his mishandling of funds in Mississippi. Boomer likes linemen who have a wrestling background. Jerry returns for an update but first Gio went to some sort of reptile zoo and watched turtles have sex. Al got to meet Evan Washburn yesterday. Joe KLECKO was elected to the Hall of Fame and Joe Namath inducted him. Garrett Wilson won offensive rookie of the year and talked about the Jets culture. Woody Johnson wants to get a QB and takes a shot at the current QB situation. Kirk Cousins sang to Tom Brady last night. Gio is now fully behind Kirk Cousins now. Justin Jefferson was emotional at the NFL Honors. George KITTLE said it's Brock PURDY'S job to lose. The Nets won behind Spencer DINWIDDIE's performance. In the final segment of the hour, Boomer gave Jerry's Waste Management Open tix to Stephen Waldron after he offered them to Jerry first. Hour 3: Adam SCHEFTER tweeted a pic of Sean Payton out to dinner with Russell Wilson, Ciara and Joe Montana. That's a pic with a message. Look how we're all friends. Gio plays ‘Mike White or' with Boomer. What did Boomer do all day when he was sick? Jerry returns for an update and starts with Ty Law inducting DARRELLE REVIS into the Hall of Fame. Garrett Wilson talked about winning the offensive rookie of the year. Woody Johnson talked about the Jets QB situation and it was not great. Brian DABOLL thanked a lot of people when he won coach of the year. Lawrence Taylor said he once forgot he was playing on Sunday night until he drove by a fully lit Giants Stadium. Jalen Hurts talked about his cheesesteak in Philly. Brett Favre is suing a bunch of people and Michel Irvin is suing a hotel and an accuser from an incident earlier this week. The Nets won last night behind a great night by Spencer DINWIDDIE. Cam Thomas had to apologize for using an anti-gay slur on live TV. Sean Marks talked about the end of the KD/Kyrie era. In the final segment of the hour, Russell Wilson and his charity are being looked at for not using enough of the money on the actual charity and are spending too much on staff instead. It doesn't sound good. What does Jake Plummer look like now and what is he doing? Well, he's a mushroom farmer in Colorado. Hour 4: Former Bucs QB Shaun King joined us and said you should definitely go into broadcasting instead of coaching. He talked about Tom Brady and Aaron RODGERS. Jerry returns for his final update of the day and starts with Garrett Wilson winning offensive rookie of the year. Woody Johnson is looking for a QB ‘that's actually doing it'. Derek Carr left New Orleans without a deal, which surprised Boomer. Nate Burleson jumped up on stage and surprised us. In the final segment of the week we did our Super Bowl picks. The spread is Eagles -1 ½ . Boomer and Jerry like the Eagles and Gio and Yussef like the Chiefs.

The Atlanta Hawks have been rumored to be in talks of trading John Collins for the past three years. Collins has been pretty open about those rumors to anyone who's been willing to listen. Last night, Collins played like a weight was lifted off his shoulders. Jarvis Davis and Tenitra Batiste talked about Collins potentially, playing like that for the rest of the season. Also, they discussed the 2023 NFL Hall of Fame class, which included guys like Demarcus Ware, Joe Thomas and Darrelle Revis. Secondly, Brad Rowland of Locked on Hawks joined ATL Day Ones with Jarvis & Tenitra to download on the Atlanta Hawks. Landry Fields traded for Saddiq Bey and a few bench pieces ahead of the NBA trade deadline. Also, the Hawks were able to get a win against the Phoenix Suns last night at State Farm Arena. They discussed John Collins' future as a Hawk and they talked about whether or not Trae Young wants to be around long term. Lastly, chicken wings are essential to life to some people. A Chicago woman was arrested for being responsible for taking 1.5 million dollars' worth of chicken wings from a school district. Jarvis & Tenitra discussed it in For The Culture. The New York Jets had an amazing night at the NFL Honors at a pair of legends were elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Darrelle Revis made it on the first ballot. Joe Klecko made it after a long wait. Both players left great legacies on two of the greatest eras of Jets history. It wasn't just a night to look to the past, however. The future also looks bright as the Jets became just the third team ever to sweep the Offensive and Defensive Rookie of the Year awards. It's going to be a SUPER podcast as the NFL will crown a champion, a new all time scoring leader in the NBA and a gigantic trade that could shift the balance in the Western Conference, you know I'll have plenty to dissect and disseminate as I close out the week on a strong note. On deck: (2:45) Super Bowl LVII is just about here. I'll take the temperature of all the hype and preparation leading up to kickoff between the Chiefs and Eagles, the key points for both teams, a prediction of who'll win as we say goodbye to another NFL season. I'll get into the newly minted Hall of Fame Class of 2023 as Darrelle Revis, Joe Thomas, Ronde Barber, Demarcus Ware, Zach Thomas among others, represent a strong defensive contingent that will be enshrined in Canton later this year. Who was worthy of making the Hall? You know I've got lots to say about this. Also, the retirement of Bengals & Cardinals receiver AJ Green and Tom Brady will wait a year to join FOX as his megadeal will begin in 2024. (35:54) LeBron James made history on Tuesday night as he surpassed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for the all-time scoring leader in the NBA. Has he had the most complete career of anyone in league history? Then you had another blockbuster deal in Brooklyn right before yesterday's trade deadline. Kyrie Irving was shipped to Dallas earlier this week, then Kevin Durant was packaged with TJ Warren to Phoenix for a boatload of #1 picks, Cam Johnson, Mikal Bridges and Jae Crowder. Why I'm disappointed in KD's decision, how NBA player empowerment strikes again and what his legacy could look like moving forward is something that I haven't heard anywhere else! As for Kyrie, how his comments of being disrespected by the Nets, being a selfless leader and leaving his former team in fourth place? His delusions of grandeur isn't fooling this guy! As for the Net organization (particularly the owner, Joe Tsai) my theory of a brilliant businessman doesn't mean he can lead a professional basketball team. I'll get into some of the other trades that took place (D'Angelo Russell & Mo Bamba to the Lakers, Russell Westbrook to Utah, Eric Gordon to the Clippers, James Wiseman to Detroit, et. al.) as the All-Star Break is just a week away. (58:03) As for what's happening on the ice, the Rangers procure a former Stanley Cup winning goal scorer from St. Louis in Vladimir Tarasenko adds more punch on their frontline and championship experience in the locker room. There's been some key injuries to star players (i.e. Cale Makar, Jack Hughes and Andre Burakovsky) as they do their best to get back on the mend for the stretch run in a long regular season. We continue to send our thoughts and prayers to Bills' S Damar Hamlin as he continues on his road to recovery. Brandon Marshall, Brandon Flowers, and Leger Douzable discuss the Pro Football Hall of Fame candidates for the class of 2023 and whether they'll make it in including names like Darrelle Revis, Dwight Freeney and Joe Thomas. Plus, coaching changes occur every year in the NFL, but this year might be slightly different with enticing names outside of the NFL.

Autumn has arrived. Right around the corner, we'll usher in the fall and winter sports as they'll slowly enter our sports consciousness. I have plenty to dissect and divulge on the latest edition of the podcast. On deck: (5:00) After a brief outline of what to expect on the podcast, I dive right into the Aaron Judge home run milestone chase as he sits as 60, just one away from tying Roger Maris on the Yankee and American League single season record. But there's an even bigger question to ask as the postseason looms. Will his performance in October dictate his worth and what he'll get on the free agent market? Then there's the NL East battle that'll come down to the wire between the Mets & Braves as armageddon awaits. I'll discuss Max Scherzer being pulled after six perfect innings. Was it the right move? The Guardians are on the cusp of winning a division and the rest of the wild card pennant chase as we're less than two weeks away from concluding the regular season. (22:14) NFL Week 3 is here. I'll share my thoughts on everyone jumping on the Bills bandwagon after the first two games of the young season. Mitchell Trubisky has a huge game in store tonight when the Steelers visit the Browns in Cleveland. I'll go through the schedule and get into the first year honorees for the Hall of Fame as Darrelle Revis, Dwight Freeney, Joe Thomas and others headline the Class of 2023. (32:26) I'll peek at the upcoming Week 4 schedule in college football. Doesn't look to be appealing, but could more upsets be in store? (35:37) Training camps throughout the NHL open up today. Colorado's Nathan MacKinnon coming off of a Stanley Cup victory is now the highest paid player in the league on an annual average. There were a couple of defensemen who have retired in the sport (i.e. PK Subban and Zdeno Chara) as I give them a nice sendoff. (39:50) Suns owner Robert Sarver has announced that he's going to sell the team in the midst of a year suspension and fine for inappropriate behavior in the workplace. In a shocking development, Celtics coach Ime Udoka is facing a suspension himself for violating the teams policy engaging in a relationship within the organization. It's possible that he may face a whole season having to sit out. Is it too harsh of a penalty?
