In this interview, I have the privilege to talk to CJ Scarlet, an extraordinary woman who encountered sexual abuse and difficult physical conditions yet has come out of it not only healthy and forgiving but she became an advocate of Tibetan Buddhism in her life and work. CJ is today a recognized author of multiple books and works in a variety of fields helping others. Her life changed when she, nearly crippled, spoke to a Tibetan Lama who gave her the recipe for healing and success. Seeking sympathy she got these words instead: " Stop feeling sorry for yourself and help others instead." Shocked, hurt and in disbelief, she left the Tibetan Lama. On her way home, she decided to test it out. These words changed her life. For good. Literally! She not only healed herself by the Buddhist practice but she also devoted her life to helping others around her. This is a wonderful example of how the wisdom of Buddhism has an impact on our mind and body.
