Hello and welcome to The Thirteen-Hour Life Coach Podcast , Season 6, Episode 13. On Monday 20th February at 9am CET, I talk with Colin McGregor about having to get rid of my energy through sport with undiagnosed ADHD and how dangerous it actually was.My body wasn't giving me the signals that I was warm enough to start carrying out exercises I wanted to do.I was going to my doctors with muscle niggles, when in actual fact I was okay - but I didn't know this , which wasted my time and the doctors time too. What I didn't express is that on time occasions I actually went running until I couldn't run any more through the streets of Berlin!!After my diagnosis ( and I write about this in my book The Thirteen-Hour Life Coach ) my body was giving my the signals I needed to know when I was warm enough during exercise to start with my exercise and more importantly - since I have taken medication I have not ONCE gone to the doctor with muscle niggles as I have such a different and positive and actual body awareness now.Colin and I talk about looking at X-rays too and many other things to help people with ADHD up date their knowledge of the back region and exercise. Please look at the following links from Colin:Lower back relaxation stretch - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ovfqcsV2Uz0At home spinal decompression - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6pdW-St3QwoBeginner core work to prevent and help back pain - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EOQlETW_KQEEmotions and back pain blog - https://bashbackpain.com/emotions-and-lower-back-pain/Colin also writes a blog on back pain/chronic pain related to those suffering from ADHD.Welcome to The Thirteen Hour Life Coach Podcast.Podcast https://lnkd.in/eAfVJPmAEvery week I will have a guest on my show in which we will discuss how to help adults with ADHD really EXCEL! Episode 45 of The Weekend, From A to Z Email: theweekendatoz@gmail.com Weekend Recap: JT: Had dinner with his sister on Friday. Saturday he participated in street cleanup with FYP (Frisco Young Professionals) and Brunch at Gloria's in Frisco. Past that, he had a freezing weekend due to a water heater issue he's having. Wednesday, he attended the Soccer Hall of Fame off Main St. in Frisco. The hall contains teal memorabilia, has a VR activity and overall is a fun time. Hashbrown, homeowner stuff. Arthur: Friday he didn't do a whole lot because he had a tame birthday house party on Saturday in Richardson. There are more insensitive comments made by Arthur, you'll have to tune in to hear all he has to say. Allen: Friday wasn't much of anything. Saturday he had a successful install day swapping out rubber bushings on the driveshaft of his car. It took MUCH much longer than it should have. Sunday was church with Susan and ZayZay. There's talk of baptism, new live action Lion King and Aladdin movies, Shazaam, Suicide Squad, Iron Man, Fast & Furious, Colin McGregor's arrest, and throwback films. Segment II: The group discusses the family update that Susan brought to Allen's attention thanks to some real estate friends and lastly they discuss St. Patrick's day Dallas plans. There's other random bits, but this is the gist of it. Hope you enjoy and thanks for tuning in! --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/atozweekend/message
