With the first round almost complete, we discuss those situations that have taken place so far, opening with a brief playoff recap. Jack Hughes has shown that he belongs, not only with his play on the ice but in his interviews at the end of games. Andrew Cogliano is ruled out for game 7 as he has reportedly suffered a broken neck after being hit by Jordan Eberle. Jake DeBrusk's "hand pass" causes the B's to lose a goal scored in game 6, but should it have? We go over Twitter Poll results indicating that the Rangers have more to lose if they were to be eliminated. Kyle Dubas has a reaction to Bolts fans after a hit by O'Reilly on Point. Colton Orr has been extended for another year as coach of the Connecticut Whale. Will we see him behind an NHL bench at some point? We take a deep dive into the Bruins/Panthers series and finally talk about Rick Bowness' comments after the Jets were eliminated. Still a lot to digest here so have a seat and listen before the final game 7s of the first round. Enjoy the Show!

Chuck Bastie interviews skater Amanda Evora and Colton Orr about their reasons for Amanda choosing Boys and Girls Club of Canada as her charity of choice, and Colton choosing Smilezone! Amanda Evora is competing with Colton Orr. She is skating for the Boys and Girls Club of Canada. Colton Orr is competing with Amanda Evora. He is skating for Smilezone. Amanda Evora is a New York-born American pairs figure skater. At the age of 17, Evora moved to Florida to pursue a career as a figure skater. Over the span of a decade, she became a five-time pairs medalist alongside her longtime partner Mark Ladwig. The two represented Team U.S.A. at numerous international competitions. After years of being a well-respected skater, she retired in 2012 — but never officially put her blades away. In 2013 Evora came out on top as the winner (alongside her partner Scott Thornton) of Battle of the Blades Season 4, and won $100,000 towards the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation that season. She continues to coach figure skating alongside her former coach and mentor Jim Peterson. The two have had one team make it to the 2014 Olympics and also had another pairs team win at the US Championship in 2016. This season, Evora is competing with Colton Orr as her partner. She is skating for the Boys and Girls Club of Canada — an organization dedicated to encouraging and empowering children, and helping them carve out a successful path for their futures. Winnipeg native Colton Orr began his hockey career at the age of 11 — just a bit later than his NHL counterparts. Despite this, Orr excelled in hockey and after years of playing as a junior was signed as a free agent in 2002 to the Boston Bruins. From there, he was signed to the New York Rangers where he remained as a powerhouse player for the next four seasons. In 2009 he signed a $4-million contract with the Toronto Maple Leafs where he remained for eight years until his retirement. Orr has remained heavily involved in the hockey world, as a youth coach at the Colton Orr Hockey Academy. He currently resides in New York with his wife Sabrina and his children. A nostalgic look back at our favorite hockey heroes and legends who wore the red, white and blue for the Rangers during the 1960s,70's and 80's. In episode number 29 we look back at the career of one of the toughest, and courageous team players in the history of the Rangers. Winger George McPhee. During his 7 year career in the NHL and 5 with the Rangers from 1982-1989 McPhee displayed his toughness, courage, and willingness to do whatever it took to help his team succeed during the regular season and the playoffs. He has also established himself as one of the most successful Presidents and General Managers in the game today. * Despite being only 5'9 and 170 lbs, McPhee earned the distinction as being one of the best fighters to ever compete in the NHL and quite possibly the best pound for pound fighter in Rangers history along with heavyweights Orland Kurtenbach, Nick Fotiu and Colton Orr. * Signed with the Rangers as an undrafted free agent in 1982 after winning the Hobey Baker award as the top NCAA hockey player while playing for Bowling Green. * Made his NHL debut during the Rangers 1983 playoff series against the Flyers. His ferocious and stellar play in that series helped the Rangers stun and defeat the Heavily favored Flyers to advance the Rangers to the next round of the playoffs. He also became only the second player to score three goals in a single Stanley Cup playoff prior to playing a regular-season game. * Scored 12 goals and led the team in penalty minutes despite playing in only 49 games as a Ranger during the 1984-85 season. * Ended his playing career with the Devils in 1989. * After stints as an executive with the Canucks and Islanders McPhee was named GM of the Capitals prior to the 1997-98 season. His career with the Capitals ran from 1997- 2014 which included seven Division championships and one Stanley Cup final. * He is currently the President of the Las Vegas Golden Knights and earned the GM of the Year Award during the 2017-18 season for building a Stanley Cup Final team in their first season in the league.

Week 36 of Barstool Radio was as star-studded as any week we've had so far. Monday we came out firing with Jay Baruchel and Colton Orr, who dropped by to promote their new movie Goon: The Last of the Enforcers, and to ragdoll Smitty. On Tuesday Pres and KFC put CNBC in their place for doubting our ability to keep the Pardon My Take boys on the pirate ship, and put Smitty in a bodybag for stealing Kevin's shoes. Wednesday belonged to Chris Jericho and the From the Top Rope Boys. Jericho gave us some life tips so that maybe one day, we too, can be as handsome, smart, and talented as he is. On Thursday we brought in the hottest new band in the music scene, Pup Punk to debut their new song 'Back to Skewl' (Tonight), and Pat McAfee also came on to promote his new upcoming podcast, Laces Out. Unfortunately on Friday, a lot of people weren't in the office, so they missed Owen Wilson and Sir Michael Caine who were in the office to promote their movie about flying airplanes through Russian tornadoes. Baruchel, Orr, Jericho, Wilson, Caine, Portnoy, and you. This is Barstool Radio.

On the first edition of the program, the three of us talk about Thursday night's game against the Toronto Maple Leafs. Was it a case of the Flyers looking ahead to the Capitals on Sunday, or are there greater concerns here? How much should we worry about this game in particular? We talk about the fights that took place and the hype that built up heading into the game. Did Scott Hartnell's absence from the lineup take away from the potential for early fisticuffs? We also discuss our thoughts the physical play that did take place toward the end of the game, namely Jay Rosehill, Colton Orr, and their gang of thieves. We move on from the game and talk about the FSN Pittsburgh incident. Did FSN's producer know that his actions would have such a large impact on the game? What should the NHL do going forward to prevent these things from happening? We somehow find our way back to on-ice stuff and discuss Michael Leighton, his stellar play of late, and when we might see Ray Emery playing hockey again. We also speculate on Brian Boucher's future in Philadelphia now that he appears to be the odd man out. How much of Ole-Kristian Tollefsen's poor play against the Leafs to blame on his injury? Is he looking forward to the Olympics, too? How about Danny Syvret's resurgence as a strong defenseman (and offensive dynamo) prior to his injury? You'll never guess how much money his Winter Classic jersey is going for in an auction.
