This horror/thriller screens as part of the Calgary Underground Film Festival on Apr 28th where Harder & Naude will be in attendance for a Q&A following the screening.INFLUENCER revolves around a social media influencer Madison (Emily Tennant) having a lonely and uneventful trip in Thailand despite what she tells her followers on Instagram. While reflecting on her boyfriend not being on  the trip, she meets CW (Cassandra Naud), a fearless and enigmatic traveler who offers to take her to some of the most Instagram-worthy locations. Together, they share authentic meals and drinks with locals, discussing the differences between Madison's online presence and CW's lack of one. After showing Madison all the amazing sights, things take a different turn when CW brings her to a surprise location – a deserted island that is completely off the grid.

David has seen medicine's shift in views on psychedelics. In the past, many practitioners were nervous to even consider using these substances in treatment, but now, Alberta is leading the way in exploring their potential benefits in a clinical setting. However, a lack of trained therapists and professionals to serve this industry has been a challenge. ATMA has taken a holistic and individualized approach to clinical trials, prioritizing the needs and experiences of each patient. This approach is in contrast to the one-size-fits-all approach taken by many other organizations conducting trials elsewhere in the world. ATMA is paving the way for responsible and effective use of psychedelics in mental health treatment. As the industry grows, Alberta is poised to become a leader in psychedelic-assisted therapy.

Full Video @ https://youtu.be/UO7XYACMBbo   Summit Healthcare Regional Medical Center, TriWest Healthcare Alliance and Show Low VA Clinic Work Together to Meet the Healthcare Needs of Local Veterans Summit Healthcare and the Show Low VA Clinic headed by Dr. Jeffrey Reres, Medical Director, began negotiations in January of this year to offer local Veterans the opportunity to receive simple x-ray and lab services closer to home. In June, the Pilot Program launched in Show Low, Ariz., and the Secretary of Veterans Affairs has approved continuance of this program for the immediate future.     The Pilot Program offers veterans who are seen at the Show Low VA Clinic the ability to receive simple X-rays and labs the same day as their VA appointment. With Veterans able to get the care they need close to home, veterans can get the care they need sooner and also eliminates making a trip to Phoenix for tests or X-rays.   “Our Veterans deserve to receive their healthcare here at home and the Pilot Program offers another service that Summit Healthcare can provide to our local communities,” says Ron McArthur, CEO of Summit Healthcare.   Since its start in early June, this Pilot Program has seen many patients who did not have to leave town for their tests. “It can be a challenge for some Veterans to make the three-hour trip to Phoenix, and this program help Veterans get the care they need right here at home,” says Dr. Jeffrey Reres, Medical Director, Show Low Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC).   A top priority for VA is making sure that Veterans have access to high quality care when and where they need it. One way VA accomplishes this priority is by using VA’s community care network.   “The primary question at the forefront of all the decisions we make at the Phoenix VA is, ‘What is best in the eyes of the Veteran?’” said Rima Nelson, PVAHCS Director. “We are focused on modernizing and streamlining processes to improve care for the Veterans we serve. This is a great convenience for the Veterans in the Show Low area. Our love and service help demonstrate God’s kingdom to the less fortunate. But what if a patient needs more than medical treatment? What if a spiritual cure is also required?During medical outreaches, which often take place in uncomfortable, rushed and chaotic situations, how can we best incorporate prayer for our patients? How can we pray for each patient when there isn’t enough time, or when there is a language or religious barrier, or if simply lack the training and experience in praying directly with patients?In this session we will discuss a number of practical ways in which you can pray for patients. This session aims to include a panel discussion in which we will hear stories of ways in which experienced medical missions leaders incorporate prayer into their medical missions. Practical topics include: How do we present prayer to the patient? How do we pray with an interpreter? If we want to lay hands on someone, what is a respectful way to do that? How do we pray for children? How do we partner with the Holy Spirit in prayer when we are rushed and need to see many patients quickly?
