NFL- with the Draft less the 24hrs away, there are moves being made. Big Ben gets a contract extension of 2 years locking hime up for 3 total at 37 yrs old. Marshawn Lynch retires, Seahawks trade DE Frank Clark to KC for 1st rd pick this year and second next year. Then, KC Signs him to 5yr, 105.5 mill contract. Josh Gordon signs Restricted tender, un certain on his playing status, OBJ defends himself that he was considered a cancer in the locker room. (pull Draft predictions ) Pirates - the Bucs were leading the division and all of the NL for about 24 hrs. The bucs dropped a few close games and had a 4-0 lead in the 7th turn into a 12-4 loss with a serious injury to Nick Burdi after throwing a 96mph fast ball then crumbled to the ground holding his bicep and arm, it looked ugly, and is listed as strained biceps and flexor mass, he is seeking second opions. He had Tommy John in may of 17. Gregory Polanco made his season debut Monday night after having late season shoulder surgery, he has 8 AB, 4 hits and scored twice. Charles Davis says he's not surprised that the Seahawks have agreed to trade DE Frank Clark to the Chiefs. Davis says this is a deep draft for defensive linemen and wouldn't be surprised if the Hawks draft for that position.
