Send us Fan MailSomatic Healing, Emotional Safety & the 5 Foundations of Marriage | Miriam Racquel & Dovid FeldmanIn this episode of From The Inside Out Podcast with Rivkah Krinsky and Eda Schottenstein, we welcome marriage helpers Miriam Racquel and Dovid Feldman, a Chabad couple who work with couples and individuals. They share their personal journey from meeting in college through different paths in Judaism, and how they now combine Dovid's strength-based, solution-oriented therapy and 12-week Recreating Intimacy program with Miriam Racquel's somatic mind-body healing. The conversation explores nervous system states in marriage, how to trust bodily signals while interpreting them wisely, and practical communication tools that avoid criticism and blame. They discuss rising divorce rates, social media's anti-marriage bias, emotional regulation, “letting go” of expectations, emotional safety, receiving, and intimacy differences between men and women. They close with Torah- and Rebbe-based perspectives, quotes, and resources including their websites and books.SPONSORSSwimplyToday's episode is sponsored by Swimply — the app that lets you book a private pool by the hour, no crowds, no chaos, just your own space to swim with your family. משיחת י"ט כסלו ה'תשל"ב ל"הנחה פרטית" או התרגום ללה"ק של השיחה: https://thedailysicha.com/?date=24-07-2026 Synopsis Kapitel 55 of Tehillim states: “He redeemed my soul with peace from the battle that came upon me, because of the many who were with me…but I will trust in You” – it is when one places his trust in Hashem that his soul is redeemed in peace. The clear lesson for the present era is as follows: there are pessimists who make calculations based on the natural order and conclude that relying on this person or that person has failed and shown that “the kindness of the nations is sin” etc. But one must know that when “I trust in You,” then there will certainly be redemption, and it will be “with peace,” to the extent that “the many were with me” – even “Avshalom's men davened for Dovid's victory.” In a person's Divine service: “Dovid” refers to the yetzer tov, while “Avshalom's men” refers to the yetzer hara (and those struggling with it). When one trusts in Hashem, he first undergoes an inner transformation, so that the yetzer-hara etc. is transformed to good. Then, this also affects what is outside oneself and the Jewish people – thereby freeing them from all worries, distractions, and threats from the seventy nations and everything associated with them, so that everything is “redeemed with peace” to the point of visible, tangible joy. (Like the law regarding the joy of a festival, which must be experienced even by the physical body).Excerpt from sichah of 19 Kislev 5732 For a transcript in English of the Sicha: https://thedailysicha.com/?date=24-07-2026 לזכות מנחם מענדל בן דבורה לאה שי' גורארי' ליום ההולדת שלו י"א מנחם-אב - לשנת ברכה והצלחה, ואריכות ימים ושנים טובות*לזכות ישראל בן נחמה דינה שי' ליום ההולדת שלו י"א מנחם-אב - לשנת ברכה והצלחה, ואריכות ימים ושנים טובות

In Part 3 of Beniyahu Ben Yehoyadah: Kohen and Warrior, we continue with the dramatic opening of Shlomo HaMelech's reign and the final reckoning with the unresolved enemies of Dovid HaMelech. The episode begins with Beniyahu carrying out Shlomo's command to kill Yoav, the powerful general who had fled to the Mizbeach, and explores the deeper meaning of why Yoav's downfall was necessary for the kingdom to be stabilized. From there, Beniyahu is elevated to become the new general of the army, taking the place of Yoav as the trusted military arm of Shlomo HaMelech. The episode then turns to Shimi ben Geira, whose earlier rebellion against Dovid now reaches its conclusion when he violates Shlomo's warning and is executed by Beniyahu. The second half of the episode shifts into one of the most mysterious and legendary parts of Shlomo HaMelech's story: the search for the Shamir worm, the miraculous creature needed for the building of the Beis HaMikdash. This leads into the astonishing mission of Beniyahu Ben Yehoyadah as he captures Ashmedai, the king of the demons for King Shlomo. 00:00 - Intro00:42 - Beniyahu Ben Yehoyadah kills Yoav12:00 - Beniyahu becomes General of Army13:13 - Beniyahu kills Shimi Ben Geira37:40 - Beniyahu and the Shamir Worm46:38 - Beniyahu Ben Yehoyadah Captures Ashmedai
