Í fréttum í gær, 10.júní, fagnaði framkvæmdastjóri Þroskahjálpar, Anna Lára Steindal, því að íslensk stjórnvöld hafi fullgilt valfrjálsri bókun við samning Sameinuðu þjóðanna um réttindi fatlaðs fólks. Hún segir það hana vera mikla réttarbót. En hvað er þessi bókun og hvað þýðir hún og hverju breytir hún? Anna Lára kom í þáttinn í dag og fór með okkur yfir það af hverju þetta skiptir svona miklu máli. Nú líður senn að sögulegu afreki Sigurgeirs Svanbergssonar sjósundskappa, en hann ætlar að synda niður Lagarfljót til að vekja athygli á þjónustu Píeta samtakanna á Austurlandi og um land allt. Sigurgeir stefnir á að láta til skara skríða um leið og veður leyfir, vonandi næsta mánudag, 15.júní. Enginn hefur áður reynt slíkt afrek í leirlitu Lagarfljótinu. Björgunarsveitin Brimrún hefur staðið með honum í undirbúningnum og hefur kortlagt fljótið og leiðina sem liggur frá Fljótsdal niður að Lagarfossvirkjun, nærri 50 kílómetrar og áætlað er að sundið taki um 24 klst. Guðrún Birna Le Sage markaðsstjóri Pietasamtakanna sagði okkur betur frá þessu og starfi samtakanna í dag. Svo hélt Jónatan Garðasson áfram að fræða okkur um íslenska tónlist og íslenskt tónlistarfólk. Í dag talaði hann um Svavar Gests. Gunnlaugur Jónsson og Þór Freysson komu til okkar í dag, en þeir hafa verið að gera nýju heimildarþættina um Bubba Morthens, Lögin hans Bubba, þar sem farið er yfir 15 vinsælustu lögin hans að mati þjóðarinnar. Á laugardaginn er komið að sjötugsafmælinu sjálfu, en þriðji og síðasti þátturinn verður í sjónvarpinu á föstudagskvöldi. Í þáttunum er rætt við Bubba auk fjölda samferðamanna hans þar sem lögin og hans helstu tímabil á löngum ferli eru rifjuð upp. Þeir Þór og Gunnlaugur fræddu okkur aðeins um Bubba Morthens í þættinum. Við töluðum snemma í apríl við Einar Guttormsson og Hartmann Guðmundsson sem voru þá á leiðinni í 3.500 km. hjólreiðaferðum vesturströnd Bandaríkjanna á 37 dögum. Nú eru þeir komnir aftur til baka og við heyrðum í dag hvernig ferðin gekk. Markmið ferðarinnar var að vekja athygli á Parkinsonsjúkdómnum og undirstrika mikilvægi líkamlegrar hreyfingar í baráttunni við sjúkdóminn, en Einar er sjálfur með Parkinson. Einar og Hartmann sögðu okkur betur frá hjólreiðaferðinni. Svo kom Jónatan Garðarsson til okkar og hélt áfram að fræða okkur um íslenska tónlist og íslenskt tónlistarfólk. Í dag talaði Jónatan um Stefán Jónsson söngvara Lúdó sextett, eða Stebba í Lúdó. Hann var meðal allra fyrstu rokksöngvara Íslands en hann kom kornungur fram á sjónarsviðið laust fyrir 1960 og varð jafnframt sá fyrsti af þeirri kynslóð rokksöngvara sem söng inn á plötu. Við forvitnuðumst í dag um verkefnið Gefum íslensku séns sem sett var af stað við Háskólasetur Vestfjarða en hefur nú verið stofnað sem formlegt félag sem ætlað er að ná til landsins alls. Markmiðið er að hvetja íslenska móðurmálshafa til að vera þolinmóði, umburðarlyndir og einnig hvetjandi við þau sem eru að læra málið. Við fengum Eirík Rögnvaldsson, prófessor emeritus og Elizu Reid, rithöfund, fyrrverandi forsetafrú, til að segja okkur frá verkefninu og félaginu Gefum íslensku í dag. Við töluðum svo um vatn og vatnsvernd í þætti dagsins. Vatns- og fráveitufélag Íslands (VAFRÍS) stendur fyrir opnum fræðslufundi um vatnsverndarskipulag í samstarfi við Háskóla Íslands seinna í dag. Þar verður meðal annars rætt um það hvernig góðar ákvarðanir um vatnsvernd geta tryggt okkur heilnæm vatn í kranann og hvernig á að vega saman hagsmuni í þessum mikilvægu málum. Einn þeirra sem tekur til máls á þessum fundi er Baldur Dýrfjörð, stjórnarmaður í VAFRÍS. Hann kom í þáttinn í dag. Svo kom Jónatan Garðarsson til okkar í dag og hélt áfram að fræða okkur og hlustendur um íslenska tónlist og íslenskt tónlistarfólk. Í dag var það Hallbjörg Bjarnadóttir. Hannes Björnsson sálfræðingur kom til okkar í dag. Hann hefur starfað sem sálfræðingur frá 2009 en var áður sóknarprestur á Vestfjörðum og prestur Íslendinga í Noregi. Hann vinnur mikið í greiningu og klínískri meðferð þunglyndis, kvíða, áfalla og ADHD fullorðinna. Hannes er einnig formaður Dáleiðslufélags Íslands, sem á 25 ára afmæli þessa dagana og hann sagði okkur frá félaginu, ráðstefnu sem fer fram í lok maí og hvernig dáleiðsla nýtist hans starfi. Skólakór Öldutúnsskóla fagnar 60 ára afmæli með afmælistónleikum í Hörpu sunnudaginn 24. maí. Egill Friðleifsson, stjórnandi kórsins vann þrekvirki því hann hélt kórnum úti árum saman og þurfti sífellt að þjálfa upp nýjar raddir og náði að halda uppi gæða söngstarfi. Brynhildur Auðbjargardóttir tók við þegar Egill hætti, en hún var nemandi í Öldutúnsskóla á sínum tíma og söng með kórnum meðal annars inn á vísnaplöturnar vinsælu með Björgvini Halldórssyni og Gunnari Þórðarsyni. Í ár voru það m.a. rapplög, spil, myndbönd, hlaðvarp, fréttaskýringar, smásögur, dagatal, ljóð, listaverk, tímarit vöruhönnun og ljósmyndir. Við fengum Sigurlaugu Arnardóttur, verkefnastýru Menntateymis Landverndar til að segja okkur frá keppninni og hátíðinni og með henni komu Daney Emma Svansdóttir, fulltrúi hópsins úr Garðaskóla sem sigraði í flokki grunnskóla, og Húgó Heiðreksson, fulltrúa hópsins úr Tækniskólanum sem bar sigur úr býtum í flokki framhaldsskóla. Svo kom Edda Olgudóttir til okkar í vísindaspjallið. Í dag sagði hún okkur frá finnskri rannsókn á áhrifum tónlistar á hreyfingu. Svo kom Jónatan Garðarsson aftur til okkar í dag og hélt áfram að fræða okkur um íslenska tónlist og íslenskt tónlistarfólk. Predstavlja življenje intelektualke in umetnice Lize Hribar, rojene Obereigner (1913–1996). Kiparka je znana predvsem po izdelovanju jaslic, njen odnos do dela je subtilno orisan, pa vendar roman prikazuje še marsikaj. Predstavljeni so tedanje intelektualno življenje, vzpostavitev pomembnih ustanov nacionalnega pomena in pogled na žensko v njenih različnih vlogah. Prikazuje nam političen pogled in polemične odločitve predvsem v povojnem obdobju. Zelo dobro je prikazana podoba Ljubljane z njenimi ulicami in stavbami in s tem je dodan tudi fokus takratnega meščanskega življenja. Pred nami se razgrne življenje Lize in njene primarne in sekundarne družine. Pisateljica se najbolj živo posveča družini Lize in Zorana Hribarja, večkrat pa se pojavljajo liki, ki imajo le statično obliko ali pa so pogoste vesti o smrtih. Delo je obširno in prikazuje širšo sliko. Družinsko drevo je premišljeno orisano, pisateljica prikazuje številne, med sabo prepleteni sorodniki. Natančno se spušča v detajle, ki pričajo o pomembnih ljudeh z gospodarskega, znanstvenega in kulturniškega področja. Poudari na primer povezavo s Tovarno kanditov in sladčic Josephine Šumi, gospodarstvenice, ki je po ločitvi od moža Franca vse vodila sama. Moč in sposobnost žensk avtorica pogosto poudarja. Motiv bombonov se kot nostalgičen spomin pojavlja kot pomembna točka v različnih okoliščinah dialogov. Romaneskna zgodba zelo neposredno govori ljubezenskih razmerjih med znanimi Slovenci, pri čemer ni prizanesljiva do razhodov, ločitev in prešuštev. Zgodba je postavljena v čas, ko so živeli priznani umetniki in umetnice, na primer Lizina tesna prijateljica Lily Novy, pa Ljuba Prenner, Oton Zupančič, Izidor Cankar, Josip Vidmar, France Bevk in drugi. Prav ta del romana je eden izmed močnejših, saj se pred nami razvije bogata plejada družinskih in prijateljskih povezav ter njihovo druženje in razmišljanje. Predstavljeni so kot polnokrvne osebe s svojimi nazori in pogledi na takratno dogajanje. Trpko predstavlja tudi različna izgnanstva posameznikov in njihovih družin. Zgodba teče v sedanjiku, zaradi česar je dogajanje še bolj živo. Pri tem se pisateljica posveča predvsem ženskam in njihovemu delovanju na pisateljskem oziroma pesniškem področju. Roman Vse je postalo plamen je zasnovan na resničnih osebah in dogodkih. kar je značilno za dela Nataše Konc Lorenzutti. Ob tem pa pisateljica ostaja zvesta simboličnemu izražanju in prefinjenemu jeziku: »Minilo bo dolgo poletje, prišla bo jesen, vlakna smisla bodo rumenela, se cefrala, ona pa jih bo nabirala in jih vpletala v tapiserijo, ki ne sme razpasti, saj so bili drugače vsi napori zaman.« Vse je postalo plamen je delo, ki ne prizanaša sistemu, zločinom, nemorali, neetičnemu ravnanju. Poudarja, kako pomembno je biti človek in to, da »Delo je zmeraj blagoslov.«

O misterioznem življenju vojaškega obveščevalca Vladimirja VauhnikaKo pomislimo na vohune, nam prejkone pred oči stopijo skrivnostne figure ruskih, ameriških, angleških ali francoskih obveščevalnih služb, ki jih nenehno srečujemo v romanih, filmih in serijah. In vendar tudi naša lastna zgodovina skriva nekaj vohunskih zgodb, pa čeprav te morda niso doživele tako dramatičnih upodobitev. Prav eni od njih se bomo posvečali v tokratnih Sledeh časa, kjer se bomo podali po stopinjah Vladimirja Vauhnika, vrhunskega slovenskega obveščevalca, ki je zaslovel po svoji do ure natančni napovedi časa nacističnega napada na Jugoslavijo, sicer pa je njegovo življenje - kot se za pravega vohuna spodobi - v marsičem zelo skrivnostno in je še desetletja po njegovi smrti sprožalo številne polemike. Verjetno eden najboljših slovenskih vohunov - ki je vrhunec svoje obveščevalne kariere doživel v času, ko je bil vojaški ataše prve Jugoslavije v Berlinu, med drugo svetovno vojno pa je iz Ljubljane pomagal voditi široko razpredeno vohunsko mrežo - je svoje življenje popisal tudi v spominih, ki so pod naslovom Pod krinko izšli pri založbi Modrijan, mi pa ga bomo v oddaji predstavili s pomočjo dolgoletnega novinarja in raziskovalca Vauhnika Iva Jevnikarja, vojaškega zgodovinarja dr. Danes je zadnji dan, ko lahko stanovalci domov za starejše oddajo soglasje za prevedbo v nov sistem dolgotrajne oskrbe. S ponedeljkom namreč začenja veljati pravica do dolgotrajne oskrbe v domovih. Domovi za starejše soglasja oddajajo na vstopno točko na Center za socialno delo Ljubljana, kjer bodo izvedli prevedbo za vseh skoraj 20 tisoč stanovalcev domov. Natančnih podatkov, koliko so jih prejeli, še nimajo, saj soglasja prihajajo ves čas. Menijo pa, da jih je več kot 17 tisoč in da se bo večina odločila za prevedbo v nov sistem. V tega bodo vstopili, ko bodo v domu za starejše podpisali še osebni načrt. Nekaj drugih poudarkov oddaje: - Novi vladni ukrepi zaostrujejo nadzor nad bolniškimi odsotnostmi, morali pa bi se ukvarjati z razlogi zanje, menij sindikati - Premier Golob in nemški kancler Merz na srečanju v Nemčiji za pravičen mir v Ukrajini. - V povezavi s smrtonosnim požarom, ki je zajel sedem stolpnic v Hongkongu, prijeli več ljudi. - Nagrado Maruše Krese za najboljše kratke zgodbe leta na knjižnem sejmu prejela Ana Svetel.
