Unser heutiger Gast wuchs nicht mit einer Karrierevision auf – er wuchs mit einer Neugier auf. Auf Sprache, auf Technologie, auf die Frage, wie sich die Welt verändert und was das für die Menschen bedeutet. Er studierte Anglistik und Linguistik an der Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, schnupperte schon als Student beim Campusradio M94.5 in den Journalismus hinein und landete schließlich beim Bayerischen Rundfunk, wo er sich als Netzjournalist einen Namen machte. Doch was ihn wirklich antreibt, begann erst so richtig, als alle Welt über ChatGPT zu reden anfing. Im Juli 2023 startete er mit seinem Team „Der KI-Podcast" – heute Deutschlands meistgehörter Podcast zum Thema Künstliche Intelligenz. Wöchentlich, verlässlich, faktenbasiert: ein Format, das er selbst als den „Drosten-Podcast für die KI-Revolution" gepitcht hatte. Seitdem erklärt er einer halben Nation, was KI wirklich kann – und was nicht. Nebenbei schreibt er monatliche Kolumnen für Brand Eins, hält Lehrveranstaltungen zur Generativen KI an der Hochschule Landshut, berät Unternehmen und Institutionen – und produziert Fiction-Podcasts, darunter das atmosphärische ARD-Hörspiel „Mia Insomnia". Das medium magazin zählte ihn 2024 zu den besten Wissenschaftsjournalisten des Jahres. Und im November 2025 erschien sein erstes Buch: ‚‚ im Goldmann Verlag. Seine zentrale These ist dabei klar: KI ist kein Monster und kein Messias. Sie ist ein E-Bike für den Verstand – leistungsstark, aber man muss noch selbst treten. Genau das ist der Kern seines Denkens: Wie Menschen mit KI nicht weniger werden, sondern mehr. Seit mehr als neun Jahren beschäftigen wir uns in diesem Podcast mit der Frage, wie Arbeit den Menschen stärkt, statt ihn zu schwächen. Wir haben in über 500 Episoden mit fast 700 Persönlichkeiten darüber gesprochen, was sich bereits verändert hat und was sich weiter ändern muss. Was bedeutet KI für unsere Arbeit wirklich – jenseits von Hype und Hysterie – und welche menschlichen Fähigkeiten werden dadurch gerade wertvoller, nicht überflüssig?
