We'd love to hear from you! Please send us a Text Message!I discovered a song I had written 4 or five decades ago. It was a response to a very bad habit that I had fallen into in life. The song was written and performed in my living room studio and was a one take … this means that I sang and played it one time in the recording process. It was an imperfect performance, but, for me, it was a powerful reaction to a profound turning point in my life. It touched me very deeply to hear the depth of emotion contained in this one take. I loved the song and decided to re-record it. As it was , in several tries I could not match the depth of the song sung by the much younger me. So I used the original Guitar/Vocal mixed track and added an orchestration to it in my studio – a duet performed by the two Mes – young and old.Theater of the Imagination is presented by Watchfire Music: https://watchfiremusic.com/Updated Watchfire Music Commercial

We'd love to hear from you! Please send us a Text Message! This episode is entitledYou And INot all love stories have happy endings. Sometimes, no matter how hard both parties try, it was just not meant to be. This is an uncharacteristically short (just 15 minutes) podcast whose purpose is to introduce a new song written and performed by Peter Link. It's a love song with an unexpected ending. It's one of those sad but true moments that can sneak up on you in life and leave its indelible mark on one's life. On a whole different level it is the celebrative product of a major overhaul of Link Recording studios – the first song to come from Link's new and greatly improved mixing console. The things that were supposed to happen, didn't happen. The things that never were supposed to happen, happened. It happens to all of us. Yeah, life on planet Earth can be a roller coaster ride. I thought to myself, “Well, what do we do now“? How do we turn defeat into victory? Today, I'm going to introduce you to a surefire starter kit. It's not a permanent solution, but it is, for most of us humans, a wondrous temporary solution. It requires little effort and is definitely fun and satisfying.Recently I applied my solution and, as usual, it worked like a dream. It worked so well, that I decided to write a song about it. We'd love to hear from you! Please send us a Text Message!Recently, in August of 2024, we released a Watchfire Music Theater Of The Imagination video entitled Brent Nicholson Earl, A Most Extraordinary Man. It is an amazing story of determination and triumph, and it memorializes the 1986 fundraising Close Upon The Hour Concert in New York City that helped finance Brent Nicholson Earle, and The American Run For The End Of Aids, his historic run around the circumference of the United States, bringing National attention to the plight and potential solutions of the AIDS epidemic. In the video, I tell the story of this lifelong friend who spent his life championing Gay rights. The story, which was the main feature in a decade ending People Magazine Special, is a doozy. In remembering back, there are so many angles to the telling of the story, that I found it impossible in the video to tell the complete story. Consequently, in October of 2024 I interviewed Brent Nicholson Earl and asked him to look back once again at this time in his life nd recall some of the amazing insights and special moments of his historic run.a This podcast, an addendum to the video, does just that. I'm wondering if you might know someone who might be interested.” Long story short, needing a vacation, I took the job. We'd love to hear from you! Please send us a Text Message! From the New York Times: Quote: “Much Ado About Nothing is a feast! Joseph Papp's 1972 CBS television production of the New York Shakespeare Festival's staging of Shakespeare's rollicking comedy is brassy, bouncy, and all–together entertaining. Featuring Sam Waterston, Douglas Watson and the Tony Award performances of Kathleen Widdoes and Barnard Hughes, Papp's turn of the century version was critically acclaimed and enormously popular with audiences. Much Ado About Nothing originated at the open-air Delacorte Theater in Central Park. It was such a hit in the park that producer, Joseph Papp, that fall, transferred the entire show to Broadway and there it became the longest running Shakespeare production in Broadway history. In 1972, 20 million people saw the broadcast of this CBS – TV IBM sponsored production of Shakespeare's classic tale of romance, mistaken identity, and the battle of the sexes. Probably more people saw it on that one night than had seen it previously in history.Presented by Watchfire Music https://watchfiremusic.com/ To access all of the episodes in our podcast, please subscribe to Watchfire Music's Theater Of The Imagination Subscription Series. We like to think of it as yet another Musical Theater of the Imagination special project, and we invite you to exercise your imaginations as you listen to this ancient tale of songs and instrumentals. It is a trilogy of songs that look at the age-old story of the five loaves and two fishes told in the four Gospels of the Bible. It covers three points of view of the same story coming from three different characters. It needs to be listened to in one 40 minute sitting as one continuous piece of music. The performance itself will be presented in a second, Part Two, episode and is available now. I woke up one morning and realized that my past, on Planet Earth, was probably longer than my future – that there was more time that lay behind than what lies ahead. But then again, I believe deeply in life eternal. So, what's to worry? But … Just what is it that goes on? What stays behind? Where do I go from here? Heaven knows ... This one thing I do know, however: The purpose of that album was to open our eyes to the timelessness of our future. After all, isn't that what the basis of Heaven is all about? Moving on. Guardian Angel Gabriel does what he can and Josiah takes on the mantle of manhood and rises to the occasion, but even that doesn't last for long. All seems lost when yet another miracle appears in the person of Slick Presley, Third Cousin to Elvis and his Trusty Mariah. This gets them through the night, but then Slick turns North and once again they are left at the side of the road.
