HOW MUCH AUTO NEWS DO YOU REALLY WATCH? Shoveling leadership, future of speculation, awards for no reason, job promotions on paper, single-digit percentage change, rich executive feel-good stories, what is the point? This is Automotive Ecosystem on ATI.
Google admitted the Biden administration pressured them to suppress “misinformation” from their opponents, and they shut down YouTube accounts from Dan Bongino, Steve Bannon, and Sebastian Gorka. But the networks ignore all that as they make Jimmy Kimmel into their free-speech hero, despite his non-stop lying on national TV.
Send us a textWelcome to Episode 235! For years and years we have been listening to people calling out silencing critics and First Amendment rights. Well rarely has it been called out from acts by the government of The United States Of America. But here we are. The head of the executive branch and his minions are trying it-- pressuring media to fall inline with what it is they approve of or else pay financial and legal consequences just because they don't like what is being said or shown.Censorship is alive and well in "the land of the free and the home of the brave," it would seem. This week The Boys are discussing the statement leading to the 2nd Late Night Host being suspended indefinitely because a corporation bowed to political pressure from the current Administration The chair of the FCC tried to intimidate and silence Jimmy Kimmel. The outrage was swift and intense -- as it should be-- but does it all mean and what should we be expecting moving forward? These Boys have thoughts.Kicking things off though, Casey & Mark are talking BB27 as the last weeks are upon us which leads to Casey sharing about his participation in local version of The Challenge. Then Mark is sharing about his latest observation and experience as a CTA trainer rider.Trash Talk topics include tea from a former Broadway cast member of a long running Broadway show which celebrated a milestone recently, a Fox New host advocates for murdering homeless people, and reviewing a study on kinks. Its one for the books this week. David Johnston is the Lead Technologist & Code Maintainer at Morpheus, a decentralized network of AI agents. An early pioneer in AI and Web3, David coined the term “DApps” in 2013 when he wrote the first white paper on “Decentralized Applications”. Why you should listen Artificial Intelligence is rapidly advancing, but most of this progress is locked behind closed doors, controlled by a handful of tech giants. The result? Censored, centralized, fragile models that operate in walled gardens, with the most cutting-edge AI locked behind paywalls inaccessible to the majority of the world. Morpheus is founded on the belief that AI should be uncensored, permissionless, and fully aligned with the values of the open-source, decentralized community. Morpheus is designed to incentivize the first open-source peer-to-peer network of personal general-purpose AI (smart agents). The Morpheus network is powered by the MOR token, which rewards contributors who work together to build, maintain, and utilize the open-source decentralized AI infrastructure. The Morpheus Compute utilizes the Lumerin protocol routing pattern to create a peer-to-peer, decentralized, and anonymous ecosystem for connecting AI users with AI models and agent compute providers. By leveraging the Lumerin model, Morpheus lays the foundation for a decentralized, open-source AI ecosystem. Send us a textToday we're wrapping up our deep dive videos for our newest miniseries covering the Anne of Green Gables 8-book collection by L.M. Montgomery. Anne is now a mother of six, navigating a reality in which herself, her husband, and all of her children exist in World War One Canada. What does this mean for the country, the world, and more specifically, the Blythe family and the small community they live in? We're here to give you the “411” on these lesser-read books in this series, and answer the question of whether or not they're worth the read.In this episode we dive into books seven and eight: Rainbow Valley and Rilla of Ingleside - we've moved past the well-known perspective of Anne Shirley and are now seeing the world through the eyes of her children, and more specifically, her youngest daughter Rilla. What do we think about the differences, and how do we currently feel about the focus slowly shifting away from Anne and predominantly onto her daughter? Who were our favorite and least favorite characters and plot points? Do we think these books carry on the feminist legacy of the more popular installations, and how did we feel about reading a “war book?”Check out our kickoff episode all about what the Bildungsroman is, why women and girl's stories are so important for everyone to read, and how Montgomery expertly uses this book series to critique social and political issues of the early 1900's, with an emphasis on women's roles in society. We also provide a bit of context by discussing Montgomery's life, and the political climate in Canada when this story takes place. Coming of age tales can be so much more than simple children's books. We're here to discover why! Listen on for our reviews of the final books: seven and eight, our deep dive reactions, and important things we learned about history because of this book. Like where daylight savings time comes from, where the draft is legal, and why several pages of Rilla of Ingleside were redacted until 2010.And stick around for next week - the final Anne episode where we rank the books and all of the 1980's movie adaptations! In this episode, Dr. Jonathan Howard and Wendy Orent dissect the latest controversies around censorship, disinformation, and the rewriting of COVID's history. From Jonathan's YouTube ban after posting videos of public officials, to David Zweig's revisionist narratives about school closures, the conversation exposes how propaganda tactics and false claims are reshaping public perception. They also highlight troubling developments at the FDA, NIH, and in political arenas where vaccine mandates are under attack, drawing connections between misinformation, free speech battles, and the erosion of trust in science. We often think of censorship as governments removing material or harshly punishing people who spread or access information. But Margaret E. Roberts' new book Censored: Distraction and Diversion Inside China's Great Firewall (Princeton University Press, 2020) reveals the nuances of censorship in the age of the internet. She identifies 3 types of censorship: fear (threatening punishment to deter the spread or access of information); friction (increasing the time or money necessary to access information); and flooding (publishing information to distract, confuse, or dilute). Roberts shows how China customizes repression by using friction and flooding (censorship that is porous) to deter the majority of citizens whose busy schedules and general lack of interest in politics make it difficult to spend extra time and money accessing information. Highly motivated elites (e.g. journalists, activists) who are willing to spend the extra time and money to overcome the boundaries of both friction and flooding meanwhile may face fear and punishment. The two groups end up with very different information – complicating political coordination between the majority and elites. Roberts's highly accessible book negotiates two extreme positions (the internet will bring government accountability v. extreme censorship) to provide a more nuanced understanding of digital politics, the politics of repression, and political communication. Even if there is better information available, governments can create friction on distribution or flood the internet with propaganda. Looking at how China manages censorship provides insights not only for other authoritarian governments but also democratic governments. Liberal democracies might not use fear but they can affect access and availability – and they may find themselves (as the United States did in the 2016 presidential election) subject to flooding from external sources. The podcast includes Roberts' insights on how the Chinese censored information on COVID-19 and the effect that had on the public. Foreign Affairs named Censored one of its Best Books of 2018 and it was also honored with the Goldsmith Award and the Best Book in Human Rights Section and Information Technology and Politics section of the American Political Science Association. Liberty Dispatch Interviews ~ August 30, 2025 In this episode of Liberty Dispatch Interviews, host Andrew DeBartolo interviews ARPA Executive Director Mike Schouten about recent events affecting the organization, including a “controversial” –Let Kids Be Kids– billboard campaign and subsequent censorship and their simultaneous debanking. They discuss the implications of these events for free speech, the legal challenges ARPA faces, and the broader cultural and social dynamics at play, as well as how it appears to be controversial to be Christian in Canada. Schouten emphasizes the importance of Christian advocacy in the public square and the need for continued engagement in political and social issues. The conversation culminates in a call to action for an upcoming rally aimed at protecting minors from harmful medical transitions. How do we break the woke monopoly in Hollywood? To find the answer, we tell the story of Rotten Tomatoes – the film review site that exposes the silent gatekeepers of Movie City. Along the way we hear from film critic Christian Toto, purveyor of conservative-friendly film enthusiast site HollywoodInToto.com. We also hear the late Andrew Breitbart describe a blueprint for winning the culture war. It may seem like the woke mob has a stranglehold on Tinseltown. But there is a way to loosen its grip…if the forces that want to save America have the will to commit to the plan.Support the show: https://redpilledamerica.com/support/See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Last year the GOP attempted to pass a bill making it a violation of civil rights law for universities to express certain opinions on the state of Israel. That bill was defeated, but the Trump administration has continued to successfully push for this form of censorship on college campuses. The administration also recently attempted to sneak similar restrictions into disaster relief funding. Author and podcast host Scott Horton joins me to discuss the reason why the U.S. government is so enthusiastic about censoring its own citizens on behalf of a foreign nation.
