Even though they come from different backgrounds, Jason Clayborn and Stephen McWhirter found their love for Jesus and their love for Christian music as common ground for them to come together, especially at a time when there is racial turmoil in the US and across the world. When they came together from two very different church music cultures (gospel and worship), what came out was something creative and full of life. Gospel artist Jason Clayborn and CCM worship leader Stephen McWhirter first connected while Jason's group performed on a Louisville, KY TV show called "The Sound." The instant friendship has led to a series of collaborations celebrating both artists' musical cultures. If Heaven is going to be filled with people of every tongue and every nation, we can only imagine what Heaven will sound like. He is the oldest of six born to Jocelyn Clayborn, in Louisville, Kentucky. At an early age, Clayborn began singing and playing drums in the local church and in the National Convention of Gospels Choirs and Choruses (NCGCC).
