Psa 100:1 Lift up a great shout of joy to the Lord! Go ahead and do it—everyone, everywhere! Psa 100:2 As you serve him, be glad and worship him. Sing your way into his presence with joy! Psa 100:3 And realize what this really means—we have the privilege of worshiping the Lord our God. For he is our Creator and we belong to him. We are the people of his pleasure. Psa 100:4 You can pass through his open gates with the password of praise. Come right into his presence with thanksgiving. Come bring your thank offering to him and affectionately bless his beautiful name! Psa 100:5 For the Lord is always good and ready to receive you. He's so loving that it will amaze you—so kind that it will astound you! And he is famous for his faithfulness toward all. Everyone knows our God can be trusted, for he keeps his promises to every generation!

Even though they come from different backgrounds, Jason Clayborn and Stephen McWhirter found their love for Jesus and their love for Christian music as common ground for them to come together, especially at a time when there is racial turmoil in the US and across the world. When they came together from two very different church music cultures (gospel and worship), what came out was something creative and full of life. In 2020, the two recorded Choir Sessions (featuring, Glory Hallelujah), afterwards they released the Christmas Single, Born A King, which was featured on the Chosen TV series Christmas Special (alongside such artists as Chris Tomlin, For King and Country, and Hillsong United). Jason and Stephen have been working together ever since, with albums like, Highest Praise (2021), and now their newest release, Rapha (2022), which they perform at the end of the episode. HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL GET ON TODAY'S EPISODE 05:12 How did Jason and Stephen connect and start writing songs together? 13:00 What does it mean to live out unity? 21:21 Stephen and Jason share how this partnership started during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic 33:31 Jason and Stephen talk about who their mentors in life are 43:56 Jason and Stephen talk about their songs God Be Yourself, and Plans 49:36 Jason and Stephen perform an acoustic version of Rapha WE HOPE THIS SONGWRITING TIP HELPS YOU Stephen says, “Ultimately as Christian songwriters, in my opinion, it's about hearing the songs already written in heaven and bringing them to Earth.” CONNECT WITH JASON AND STEPHEN Website - https://worshipjesus.life/ YouTube - https://www.youtube.com/user/stephenmcwhirter Facebook - http://facebook.com/stephenmcwhirtermusic Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/jasonclayborn44/ Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/stephenmcwhirter/ TikTok - https://www.tiktok.com/search?lang=en&q=Stephen%20mcwhirter CONNECT WITH MUSIC CITY ACOUSTICS For a special deal, make sure you mention "THE CHIZPOD" when you place your first order. Voices In My Head (The Rick Lee James Podcast) Episode 442: STEPHEN MCWHIRTER Acclaimed singer/songwriter and worship leader Stephen McWhirter and GRAMMY® and Stellar-nominated recording artist Jason Clayborn have joined forces for Highest Praise, a rousing celebration of soul-drenched worship bowing October 8 from Lula Street Records (Integrity Music). The nine-track live studio set pairs the duo's impassioned lead vocals with classic rock, Motown, Gospel, and contemporary worship moments. Produced and co-written by McWhirter, Highest Praise also features eight selections co-penned by Clayborn. The title cut—a Stevie Wonder-meets-Humble Pie groove—is a joyful anthem crossing cultural and musical divides in unified worship. Additional highlights of Highest Praise include the Motown slow-burner “God Be Yourself,” a prayer which clings to His character even in the most difficult circumstances; the modern worship declaration of “Let There Be Love”; and “The Yes Song,” a resounding testament to the promises of God. Highest Praise follows the duo's debut collaboration, McWhirter's 2020 Choir Sessions (feat. Jason Clayborn & The Atmosphere Changers). McWhirter and Clayborn also wrote and recorded the Christmas anthem “Born A King,” which was featured in last year's Christmas special for the blockbuster television series The Chosen. Stephen McWhirter is a touring worship leader, producer, speaker and author whose powerful testimony of divine deliverance from addiction is the cornerstone of his ministry platform. A founding member of the former worship collective Iron Bell Music, he is also a songwriter with Essential Music Publishing/Sony PLG and a Lula Street (Integrity Music) recording artist. Tyscot recording artist Jason Clayborn is a GRAMMY® and Stellar Award nominee and former member of the renowned hip-hop/gospel group The Righteous Riders. He has also toured around the world with numerous artists, including Dr. Ron Kenoly. Most recently, Clayborn and his choir, The Atmosphere Changers, performed at the 2021 Stellar Awards alongside the legendary Bishop Hezekiah Walker. “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; And lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, And he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: Fear the LORD, and depart from evil. It shall be health to thy navel, And marrow to thy bones.”Proverbs 3:5-8 KJVI don't know about you but something our family doesn't leave home without is sanitizer! We take it to the store, to church, to work, out to eat, you name it - we take it!Today is episode 7 of “Sin Week,” and it's the grand finale! What better way to end this specialseries than with what I am coining SIN-itizer, learning to overcome Sin with the Son! S O N - That of course being Jesus Christ Himself!Something my Pastor says is this: When we learn to put God first in our lives, giving Him access to every room in our hearts, we will live more holy on accident than we ever could on purpose! What does that equate to in everyday life? It means spending our mornings with Jesus!and not just our mornings, but inviting Him into every area - our homes, schools, businesses, churches, finances, vacations - everywhere we go!Listen, I am a Christian first and foremost!I am a Christ-follower before I am a husband, a dad, a church-goer, a business owner, or a podcast host!We all wear so many different hats and play so many different roles throughout any given day, but if we are to remain SIN-itized in these last days, it is imperative that no matter where we go, what we find ourselves doing, or who we are hanging with, that we keep Jesus at the forefront of our every moment!!!Why? Is it because God wants to control us? Is it out of some misplaced overly religious condemnation? Is it because God doesn't want us to have fun?An emphatic NO to all those things! In truth, for me personally, it's because I have come to realize that without Him, I can do nothing, but through Him, I can do all things!I desire to be SIN-itized!Sensitive to Him and His word and immune to the fiery darts of the enemy!Listen, I have been kicked around enough during my life without Jesus and even well after because of the things I have allowed into my life. The more I get to know the Lord, the closer I get to Him, the more I have come to realize my need for Him! every moment, every hour I need Him!there are many who will say, “That Jesus stuff is just a crutch - I don't need all that, I'm a self-made this or that,” but can I tell you something today, That's a very dangerous place to be!Now I'm not against being disciplined, exhibiting strong willpower, or showing initiative, but when our lives - our so-called successes are void of Jesus, they are nothing more than castles in the sand! There is coming a time when we all will stand before the King of glory and He isn't going to care about how much money we have in the bank, or how many good deeds we did!He will wonder what we did with His free gift of salvation! What we did to serve others and reach them with the gospel!Being SIN-itized isn't about robbing us of fun, it's about positioning us to give to others what we are freely given by the ONE who is worthy of the Highest Praise!!Today, as we close out “Sin Week,” my challenge to you and me is this: Learn to be intimate with Jesus! Love Him with all your heart, mind, and strength!Listen, sin is fun for a season, but afterward there is Hell to pay!Don't allow sin to mold you and shape you, it makes for a very poor and abusive master! The Good News is this: We can start right now sowing good seeds, making the right choices, and it starts by gettinSupport the show (https://www.buymeacoffee.com/joshzeitz)

Have you lost your childlike imagination? Do you still find wonder in the world or are you more cynical than ever? My guest today is the incredible illusionist, storyteller, and author Harris III! Harris and I have a fascinating conversation today about the concept of wonder and why awe is vital for thriving in life. Harris shares how to reawaken child-like wonder, how awe impacts our physical and mental health in a powerful way, and why it's important to find magic in the mundane. We also chat about: -How gratitude can reawaken the magic in our life -The "special" lie and why we need to debunk it -And how to find our greatest purpose out of our deepest pain Favorite quotes: What I understand of wonder is that it's contagious. Their wonder and response to that first magic trick reawakened my wonder, turned on the wonder switch and gave me permission to start dreaming of this whole new possible life Wonder is this really essential process. It's this state that we can get back to that gives us permission to believe. The presence of awe and wonder can boost the production of cytokines in your body. It can boost your immune system, it can decrease stress. There's magic in the mundane. There's beauty right in front of our faces, we just can't see it. You can live an extraordinary life, just like anyone else you admire, if you understand the fact that we are all special. Contained within us all is this magic and the ability to do extraordinary things. In this episode I answer these questions: 1. Do you ever feel extra pressure to not feel busy or worried or unhappy because you write books on how to overcome it? How do you balance what you teach? (48:51) 2. How can I help my kids develop their own faith and not just depend on my faith? (51:48) 3. How do you know when it's the right time to quit your job and go all in on running your own business? (55:41) Great things we discussed: 1. www.harrisiii.com 2. The Wonder Switch 3. STORY Gatherings 4. Forrest Gump Soundtrack 5. Atomic Habits 6. Ecamm 7. Honest Thief 8. Highest Praise 9. Standing Strong Hope you loved this episode! Be sure to subscribe in iTunes and slap some stars on a review! :) xo, Alli www.alliworthington.com/harris-iii

Discover God's GreatnessThe Highest PraiseMany of us know of King David's heart after God. His poetic praises make up most of the Book of Psalms, and none is more epic than Psalm 145. Not only is it the last Psalm attributed to David, it is the culmination of his entire relationship with God, all rolled into one poetic masterpiece. What a great place to come to draw inspiration for ourselves! My heart explodes with praise to you! Now and forever my heart bows in worship to you, my King and my God! Every day I will lift up my praise to your name with praises that will last throughout eternity. Lord, you are great and worthy of the highest praise! For there is no end to the discovery of the greatness that surrounds you. - Psalm 145:1-3 (TPT)Wow, and that's only the first three verses. I feel like I could spend months meditating on these alone; it is just that good. September 8, 2019, | Pastor Nathan Elms One of the great ideas of the bible is Deliverance. In fact, Deliverance in many ways defines what it means to be a child of God. Deliverance is a necessary first step. We cannot understand God's doctrine, a theology of grace, or hope to come, without understanding divine deliverance. Jesus introduced his ministry by reading a particular passage from the book of Isaiah—a passage his listeners knew was referring to the Messiah, or the Savior of the world. The words had been written hundreds of years earlier and spoke of the new freedom that was coming in the future. When Jesus stood up to read, He was saying the future had arrived. Liberty would come through Him. Luke 4:17-21 New King James Version (NKJV) https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Luke+4%3A17-21&version=NKJV Notice this: 1. Preach (good news to the poor) 2. Healing (of the brokenhearted) 3. Deliverance ( to the captives) 4. Healing (recovery of sight to the blind) 5. Deliverance (liberty to the oppressed) 6. Preach (proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord) Preaching is mentioned twice. Healing is mentioned twice. And Deliverance is mentioned twice. It is impossible to understand the ministry of Jesus Christ without embracing the preaching of the gospel, the healing of the broken, and the deliverance of the captive. Jesus is our Good News. Jesus is our healer. Jesus is our rescuer. Psalm 91:1-4 (NKJV) https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=ps+91%3A1-4&version=NKJV Psalm 40:17 (NKJV) https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=ps+40%3A17&version=NKJV Exodus 6:6-7:6 https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Exodus+6%3A6-7%3A6&version=NKJV The Four Cups of Passover Every year the Jews celebrate their deliverance by remembering this promise. This promise is the center of their Passover. They have structured the Passover around this promise. The First Cup: Salvation- “I will take you out of Egypt.” Luke 19:10 “For the Son of Man came to seek and save those who are lost.” The Second Cup: Deliverance–“I will deliver you from (Egyptian) slavery.” God takes “Egypt out of them”—teaching them to think and live like free people instead of slaves ruled by a master. Jesus: Matthew 5:17 https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Matthew+5%3A17&version=NKJV The Third Cup: Redemption: “I will redeem you with My power.” John 1:12-13 https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=John+1%3A12-13+&version=NKJV The Fourth Cup: Adoption: “I will acquire you as My people and I will be your God.” The 4th cup is also called the Hallel Cup—the Cup of Highest Praise—a celebration cup, a time to rejoice cup, the Kingdom Party Cup. We must understand the journey of redemption: First, God gets us out of Egypt (spiritual bondage). Second, God gets Egypt (the desire for the sins of the flesh) out of us. This is transformation of heart – change of values – we pursue a different kingdom. We must find freedom! Understanding spiritual wilderness. • Isolation • Suffering • Fear • And the presence of God Remember the story of Israel’s Deliverance. God got them out of Egypt fairly quickly; but it took a whole generation to get Egypt out of them. Deliverance can happen in a moment; but Freedom takes some time. Let me say it this way: The problem isn’t your sin – it is your desire for sin. Freedom will require: 1. Healing. As long as your past has power over you, you remain a slave. 2. Change of focus. Does your mind focus on the past or the future? 3. Faith. God says you are able to possess your promise land. Ultimately, the price of freedom is that you must have faith and take action. God will deliver you from Egypt, but He will not claim your promise. Freedom has changed you. Now you have a work to accomplish.
Jesus' response to the Sadducees' trap last week ended with the statement, "And no one dared to ask him any more questions." Today we consider the few verses following that in which Jesus asks about verses from Psalm 110 that tie into the Messiah. Consider with us today what the lordship of Christ means.

A Continuation on the series of הלל יה hallelujah the Highest Praise. In this message we see the parallel requirement of the Heavens and the Earth to Halal Ya... Giving God the Highest Praise is to declare what he has said...!
Psalms 147 - a call for the Church to Raise the Banner of Christ (nest - נס). The Standard in Isaiah 62:10 in correlation to Psalms 147:2-3
Halal Ya - hallelujah the Highest Praise. Praise while I have any Being Moving toward the final segments of Psalms that present הלל יה Halal Ya "hallelujah" the highest Praise. In this message we see a distinct command to Praise (an Exhortation of Praise i.e. Declare what God had said of himself) while we have any Being. Psalms 146
