The Kid, alongside regulars like Hat Trick and the newly dubbed "Eraser" (named for her mind-erasing nipple presence), took listeners on a trip down memory lane, where the show's origins were as chaotic as its current status. The episode started with a tribute to the original crew, a nod to how far they've come from talking smack with bare-bones equipment. This evolved into a discussion on how the world has changed, not just in terms of population but in the way we consume media. We have been reflecting on God's faithfulness these past few weeks. In today's message, Pastor Pat talks about what the future holds for Bethesda. We will continue to follow the mission and vision that Jesus gave to his disciples. Jesus is the faithful builder of His church.

Often times, we talk about the faithfulness of God in our lives. In today's message, Dr. Dunn talks about the importance of our faithfulness to God.

Through the wonder of technology, we get to hear stories of how our church was founded by our second lead pastor, the late Brother Jim Beall. The constant theme throughout the message is our desperate need for the Holy Spirit in our lives. Light the oven!

As we kick off the month of June, we look back on God's faithfulness over these past 90 years in our church. Our 90 year history does not bring us to completion. God is faithfully carrying on his work here.

On the roadways, the highways, communication with the other drivers of multi-ton vehicles is an imperative!  As you look at the steering wheel, on YOUR left had side of the steering column is a stick…a MAGIC TALKING STICK!  When that stick is pushed down, it talks to the OTHER DRIVERS on the road communicating your intention to turn LEFT.  Cool, right?  I KNOW!  If YOU push that selfsame stick UP, it lets the others driving near and around you that you intend to turn RIGHT! Jenny and I are taking the week off to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The success of our No Compromise conversations, in which I always say, "Qu'ils sont beaux, lex pieds" to introduce my Jenny, is here explained. Jenny was God's gift of grace to me, my path back to His arms. On Valentine's Day 2022, we posted my original poem to Jenny on our Simple Gifts podcast. We repost that episode here on the Christian Atheist. Qu'ils sont beaux les pieds, "How Beautiful are the Feet" (Isaiah 52:7; Romans 10:15) is my love song to my Jenny this Valentine's Day! My love has only grown exponentially since we married. My one earthly goal is to spend every available second with her! Yeats' poem "He Wishes for the Cloths of Heaven" was my foundational poetic influence in writing this piece, but there were many, many more, some of which I trace out in this episode.
