Leaning Right and Turning Left roars into the historic South Boston Speedway to catch up with Late Model Racing powerhouse Peyton Sellers! Listen as Peyton tells the boys about his journey in becoming a successful late model driver in the grass roots NASCAR Advance Auto Parts weekly series at local short tracks throughout Virginia, as well as his run for a record seventh championship at South Boston Speedway. Don't miss as Peyton discusses how NASCAR grabbed Peyton's crown for last year's weekly series championship with the stroke of a pen (they called it an "audit," we call it "getting screwed"), and find out where Peyton goes from here as he cuts his path in becoming a short track legend. But first, you must listen to Hermie and the Senator roast America's favorite podcast side-kick Shep Moss on his sudden and unexpected retirement from being "Captain Chaos" on the South Hill Virginia Town Council. As always, Shep never disappoints in the funny as he defends himself from the onslaught of crap his two friends dish out for leaving his post, and the resulting whirlwind that it has now created in the local town government that he once ruled. Finally, the boys discuss their race team, Sadler/Stanley Racing, getting back on the track as the SMART series gets back to racing for the last two months of the 2023 open-wheel asphalt modified season with their race car driving superstars, two of NASCAR's top 75 drivers of all time, Bobby Labonte and recently crowned champion of the SRX Thursday Night Thunder Series, Ryan Newman!
