The finale is here with our Luke Cage Episode 13 Review as we discuss our top five points about "You Know My Steez" the final episode of the Marvel Netflix show Luke Cage in our Spoiler filled podcast. As always make sure you've watched the episode before listening to our podcast. Luke Cage Episode 13 Review Podcast "You Know My Steez" Spoiler filled Synopsis Directed by Clark Johnson Written by Cheo Hodari Coker and Aïda Mashaka Croal A young Willis Stryker (Jared Kemp) is shown coaching Carl Lucas (Clifton Cutrary) to become a skilled fighter, helping him to win an important match inside the boxing ring. Elsewhere and in a different time an equally important fight takes place between Willis Stryker (Erik LaRay Harvey) and Luke Cage (Mike Colter) as Luke takes the fight to Mecha-Stryker in his Hammer-Tech suit as Harlem looks on outside Pop's barber shop. As the fight continues the N.Y.P.D. surround the two antagonists and in the confusion, Misty Knight (Simone Missick) drops her cell-phone and Mariah Dillard (Alfre Woodard) loses the files on Carl Lucas, both of which prove to have serious consequences. As Cage knocks Willis out the N.Y.P.D. move in and Dillard is arrested, Stryker is taken to hospital, and Luke is taken into custody. However, at Harlem's police precinct things do not play out as first thought: Dillard walks free after Candace (Deborah Ayorinde) is murdered by Shades Alvarez (Theo Rossi), who lured her out from protective custody with the use of Misty's lost phone; and Federal Marshals arrive to arrest Cage for his escape from Seagate...he still owes the State of Georgia time. In Harlem as the dust settles a certain Deja Vu returns, Luke Cage is taken back to Seagate, Harlem's Paradise is reopened under Dillard, Misty is back undercover and Doctor Noah Berstein (Michael Kostroff) is looking for subjects as Stryker recovers in hospital. We hope you'll join us then. Luke Cage Episode 9 Review Podcast "DWYCK" Spoiler filled Synopsis Written by Christian Taylor Directed by   Tom Shankland After his second bullet wound at the hands of Willis Stryker (Erik LaRay Harvey), Luke Cage's (Mike Colter) wounds begin to turn septic. As he reunites with Claire Temple (Rosario Dawson) they become increasingly desperate to find a way of removing the Judas bullet shrapnel and in so doing they head back down south to Georgia and Doctor Noah Berstein (Michael Kostroff) as Luke begins to weaken. Elsewhere in Harlem, in the vacuum of Cornell Stoke's murder, an uneasy alliance forms between Mariah Dillard (Alfre Woodard), Shades (Theo Rossi) and Diamondback. At a meeting of the local crime bosses Diamondback kills all of them except Domingo Colon (Jacob Vargas) and only spares Dillard after she proves her worth. Misty Knight (Simone Missick) is hauled in front of a police psychologist who evaluates her breakdown on the job. As Knight is released and tasked to find Luke Cage, he arrives at Berstein's house where using Reva's data stick from Cage's chain Berstein hopes to try and remove the bullet fragments. As he lowers Luke Cage into a boiling tank of acid the pain becomes too much as the ECG flat lines! Detectives Misty Knight (Simone Missick) and Rafael Scarfe (Frank Whaley), investigating the murders of Dante (Hugues Faustin) and Shameek (Jermel Howard), have also taken an interest in his whereabouts. The detectives call on Pop's who, feeling a responsibility to Chico's late father, asks Luke to track him down before Stokes and the police get to him. With Chico located a parlay is set-up with Cottonmouth for the exchange of his money and Chico's safety; but an unexpected tip-off to Tone and Shades leads to unintended repercussions that break the code of the streets and set a determined Luke Cage on a different path in Harlem. Welcome to our Luke Cage Episode 1 Podcast. Our review of the first episode of season one of the brand new Marvel Netflix show Luke Cage entitled "Moment of Truth". We discuss our top 5 points in our Spoiler filled podcast all about the pilot episode. Make sure you sure you've watched the episode before listening to our podcast. Luke Cage Episode 1 Podcast "Moment of Truth" Spoiler filled Synopsis Written by Cheo Hodari Coker Directed by Paul McGuigan After the destruction and loss of his bar in Hell's Kitchen a penniless Luke Cage (Mike Colter) moves back to Harlem. He takes on two low-key jobs one at Pop's Barbers and the other as a kitchen hand in a local club as he tries to figure out what to do next and so as not to draw unnecessary attention to his powerful new abilities. However, Harlem is in flux as rival gang leaders Cornell "Cottonmouth" Stokes (Mahershala Ali) and Diamondback seek new partnerships and to influence the political campaign of Mariah Dillard (Alfre Woodard). As Luke is forced front of house at Cottonmouth's Club, Harlem's Paradise, he encounters Diamondback's enforcer, Shades (Theo Rossi), that brings back painful memories of his time in Seagate Prison. Meanwhile an important money exchange between the two gangs is crashed by Shameek (Jermel Howard) and Chico (Brian 'Sene' Marc), both known to Luke Cage. As retribution falls on Shameek and Cottonmouth attempts to recover his money, Detectives Misty Knight (Simone Missick) and Rafael Scarfe (Frank Whaley) investigate the series of killings linked to the failed money exchange and Luke Cage becomes increasingly embroiled in the Harlem scene as an unwilling defender. Congratulations to Frederik Tellerup our winner of our Summer of Strange prize pack including a Doctor Strange Funko Pop, baseball cap, the two prequel comics and digital code for even more Doctor Strange comics. Look out for our Luke Cage competition on a future episode.
