"Sad songs hit the spot." In this episode, Dan is joined by Calvin Cruz (Two Men and a Puppet) and Cody Narveson (Trylove and Stoop Kidz!) to talk about Ana Lily Amirpour's genre-blending vampire movie A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night. We discuss the way Amirpour mixes elements of different genres to make her own, the use of black-and-white photography in movies, moments that are so triumphant they make you stand up, as well as Masuka - cat actor extraordinaire! Along the way we also share everything we learned. To hear more from Cody, listen to him on Tryloveand Stoop Kidz! A Hey Arnold! Podcast. Dexter is coming to a temporary end and it all hinges on an absolutely terrible final villain, characters that are basically nothing, and bad decisions all around. Not even Masuka can provide entertainment now. Daniel wonders when Dexter will wear wigs. Eric is baffled by how bad Saxon is as a villain. They both cannot get enough of the Facial Recognition scene. If you enjoyed the show, please leave us a review wherever you listen to it! We all know that 2020 was a challenge to walk through. I'm lucky enough to say that I was able to walk through it with this beautiful soul, Masuka Magambo. We have agreed, we have disagreed, we have laughed, we have cried, and we have done A LOT of praying together. Masuka has taught me many things about race relations, life, our relationship with God, and what grace can look like even in pain and frustration. She is a gift I wanted to share with everyone. Good news everyone! These two episodes are better than the last two! Unfortunately for your hosts, that means they still really stink on ice. Eric has something in common with Masuka. Daniel scares Eric with a segment. They're struggling but the end is at least somewhat in sight. If you enjoyed the show, please leave us a review wherever you listen to it! Are Eric and Daniel heroes for rewatching this garbage season of television? They wouldn't say that themselves but if one of their loyal viewers were to declare it they certainly wouldn't object. Encouragement is needed in this current pit of despair, whether that's season 6 or the current real world. Daniel decides "suffocating in the ocean" is a better phrase than "drowning." Eric is baffled by the depiction of professors. There are more hints that Masuka loves Ru Paul's Drag Race. Stick around for the Post Credits scene! If you enjoyed the show, please leave us a review wherever you listen to it! Season 4 is crescendoing at an alarming rate as Eric and Daniel talk about the best two episode stretch of the show in 3 seasons. We have a shocking revelation about Masuka. The Trinity storyline is near perfection. Ghost Harry and Elliot should be sent to the Hague. Eric...likes the Bench and the Hat? Daniel thinks this season is a perfect culmination of the storytelling of seasons 1-3 and steals a joke from Mitch Hedberg. They both cannot wait for the finale and what they assume to be their last hurrah. If you enjoyed the show, please leave us a review wherever you listen to it! Antot Masuka, Western Astrologer, Horary Astrologer, Astrocartographer, Earthquake Predictor, and a frequent guest speaker at the Edgar Cayce Foundation in New York City will give you his predictions for the year 2020 and the Capricorn Grand Conjunction. What does the grand or great Capricorn conjunction mean? Do you realize that this has not happened in the past 5000 years? Here is a quote from our guest "astrology brings heaven down to earth for all to see and understand. It is the language of the gods and the soul of the universe". Antot discusses in depth with host Carol the planets that will be in conjunction or aligned with each other. You will learn what this means to you, mankind and to the universe. What is the significance of Pluto, Saturn, and Jupiter aligned with each other? What happens to their energies? When will this occur in January? What about Mercury, the Sun and the South node? What are the meanings of each planet and when will the Capricorn grand conjunction occur? When will the eclipses occur in 2020? Is your south node a reflection of your past life? Why are there more challenges in the north node and what is yours? The grand conjunction is in Capricorn and what does that mean to you if your sun sign is in libra? How important is it to know where your sign is in the house of your natal chart? What happened in 1930 in the cosmos? Did you know that Pluto was retrograde and caused much negativity in the cosmos such as the atomic bomb, Mussolini, and Hitler? 2020 will be different because Pluto is working with or aligning itself with Saturn, Jupiter, Mercury, and the Sun. It will be for the goodness of mankind and the individual. Chances are that there will be a lot of deep inner transformation on a global scale all for the betterment of mankind because of the conjunction in Capricorn. What may happen to the physical parts of each sign? What will happen to the 3 earth signs? Where was Pluto when Obama and Trump became president of the United States? The speed of Pluto will work with other planets to create a better world, and the transformation of the individual.. The Capricorn conjunction could raise the consciousness of mankind and Antot will tell you why as well as much more information. You will want to listen to this podcast several times. Podcast Episode #8 - A two episode extravaganza~ Taxidermy, Masuka's gross jokes, the return of Lucifer, and terrible therapists greeted us this episode - how fun! There are way too many sex scenes in these episodes. Warning that the second episode's villain is largely focused around suicide, so listen with caution. Mikey C Hall's eyes still haunt me in my dreams.
