Similarly, every Jewish child must be a “judge” and “officer” over his own behavior and over his own room, making sure everything in his room, his sefarim and his tzedakah box etc., are arranged in an orderly fashion (for example, the tzedakah box should be high up on Shabbos so he doesn't touch it). And these “judges” and “officers” must be set up in “all your gates” – the “gates” being the eyes, ears, and mouth – making sure that only matters of Torah and mitzvos enter and exit through them. All this strengthens their connection to our Father in heaven, and in this fashion, every Jewish child's room becomes a “Minor Mikdash,” and Hashem becomes his “Neighbor,” and moreover Hashem becomes the “Owner,” and obviously a “Neighbor” and “Owner” like that brings good gifts….2 excerpts from sichah of Tuesday, Parashas Shoftim, 28 Menachem-Av 5749. (2) The yetzer comes to a Jewish child and argues: How can you be waiting for the true and complete Redemption and expecting it to come imminently, when I go around and see what's happening in the world and the difficult exile with so many challenges etc. But the answer appears in an explicit verse in shelishi of Parashas Eikev, “But they are Your people and Your inheritance, which You brought out with Your great strength and with Your outstretched arm”: just like the Exodus from Egypt took place “in the blink of an eye,” so, too, will the coming Redemption. א' השיחות דיום ד' פ' ואתחנן, י"ג מנחם-אב, ה'תנש"א – לילדים וילדות שיחיו דמחנות קיץ יומיים ל"הנחה פרטית" או התרגום ללה"ק של השיחה: https://thedailysicha.com/?date=14-08-2024 Synopsis The Aseres Hadibros (in revi'i of Va'eschanan) has a special connection to Jewish children, because Hashem only agreed to give the Jewish people the Torah when the Jewish people said “Our children will be our guarantors.” In simple terms this means that the fact that we now have the Torah is in the merit of the young Jewish children. And this further emphasizes the great privilege and responsibility every Jewish child in our generation has, to gather and receive the Torah anew, and with greater vitality and excitement, until we merit the true and complete Redemption, when we will hear Torah from Hashem Himself. The way to prepare for the Redemption is by gathering together to daven to Hashem, to study his Torah and give tzedakah, as we will do at the end of this gathering. And very soon we will experience the fulfillment of Moshe's tefillah as well, “And I entreated Hashem etc.,” to enter the Land with the entire Jewish people.Sichah of Wednesday, Parashas Va'eschanan, 13 Menachem-Av 5741 – to Tzivos Hashem For a transcript in English of the Sicha: https://thedailysicha.com/?date=14-08-2024 לזכותנחמה פייגל בת רחל שתחי'ליום ההולדת שלה י"א מנחם-אבלשנת ברכה והצלחה, ואריכות ימים ושנים טובות

(2) At the beginning of Parashas Va'eschanan, Moshe Rabbeinu says to Hashem, “You have begun to show Your servant Your greatness etc.” – indicating that it was only in Moshe's time that Hashem began to show His greatness etc. The Zohar asks: Weren't there also miracles in the times of the Patriarchs?! And he answers: it was only in Moshe's time that the Jewish people attained greatness – because that's when they became a complete and united community of millions of people (men, women, and children), and that is the true greatness of Hashem. The lesson is that everyone should see to it that the entire Jewish people are united through Ahavas Yisrael, and this is “Your greatness.” And it has to start with the children.Excerpt from sichah of Sunday, Parashas Va'eschanan, 7 Menachem-Av 5740 – to children For a transcript in English of the Sicha: https://thedailysicha.com/?date=11-08-2024

This enigmatic month is called in Hebrew "Menachem Av,' which means 'The Consoling Father.' Ostensibly the name doesn't fit the reality of these days leading up to the fast day of Tisha B'Av, observed next week, which marks the destruction of the Holy Temple. Yet the vision of this month is the secret of the absolute Oneness of God, the vision of true reality: a loving Father calling His children back to Him with kindness and compassion. “The shift has taken place and it's time now to Go.. Go.. Go”, says the Lord!Do not tarry or delay just start moving. This is a time where you will be tested on what the Scrolls of Destiny say about you.Think on these things that God has spoken to you in the past to prepare you to now run the race with endurance . To keep your endurance high, make it a point to rest in what has been written already about you. What has been written opens up the keys of what has already been accomplished in the eternal spirit realms. You are simply just carrying it out in the natural earthly realms. This month of Av on the Hebrew calendar is known as Menachem Av or “God Our Comforter”. God is speaking to us from this place in the eternal realms. However, He is also speaking to us from the soulish realms or earthy realm, in that this is the month of August or Month of New Beginnings and we are approaching the 8th day or day of New Beginnings in the Month of New Beginnings. Two things are happening at one time. There will s an alignment between eternal and earth realms.God is dealing with you still on repentance issues and getting your heart clear as well as saying run, run, run and begin to step into all I have for you this fall season. Both are happening at the same time ! That's why your waking up at night or in prayer repenting plus talking to him about the next steps and how to move ahead. Do what has been written ! You need confidence to remember that we walk by the spirit in faith not by flesh and in sight.Hebrews 10: 36-38 (NASB) reads, “or you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God, you may receive what was promised. FOR YET IN A VERY LITTLE WHILE, HE WHO IS COMING WILL COME, AND WILL NOT DELAY. 38 BUT MY RIGHTEOUS ONE SHALL LIVE BY FAITH; AND IF HE SHRINKS BACK, MY SOUL HAS NO PLEASURE IN HIM.”Philippians 4:6-7 (NASB) reads, “ Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”Anxiousness will decrease when you rest on not giving sacrifices but true offerings during this time . Now offerings can hurt. It will require a lot of faith in this time of acceleration. This is time for your faith capacity to increase and that only happens when we exercise it.We only get anxious when we are trying to do something not in faith. Rest in the truth that it's all been written first in eternal realms, you are just carrying it out by faith in natural earthly realms !!Take a leap of faith and remain steadfast in the call and what was written about you! God will bring it to pass as you Go, Go, Go in your promotion time.Do you want to be trained as good disciples or biblical life coach ? ב' חלקים משיחת מוצש"פ פנחס ה'תשל"ח ל"הנחה פרטית" או התרגום ללה"ק של השיחה: https://thedailysicha.com/?date=06-08-2024 Synopsis The name of the month is “Menachem-Av,” meaning that the entire month, from its beginning, already offers the “Menachem” (consolation) for the undesirable aspects of the month. This is especially emphasized in our time, when the Redemption is near, to the point that it must be clearly verbalized, which reveals and proclaims and announces everywhere that the time of “Menachem” is beginning. This year is also a leap year, which brings an additional entire month of Torah and mitzvos, thus nullifying “our sins” and thereby nullifying the result of our sins, namely, the fact that “we were exiled from our land,” and thus turning “their mourning into gladness.” Although joy is supposed to be diminished during the Three Weeks, however the joy derived from Torah study (“The orders of Hashem are upright, causing the heart to rejoice”) is a requirement, especially now when it's necessary to exert special effort for the Redemption, as “Tzion shall be redeemed through justice (Torah) and those who return to it with tzedakah (which encompasses all the mitzvos)” and this should be done with joy.Two excerpts from sichah of Motza'ei Shabbos Parashas Pinchas, 5738 For a transcript in English of the Sicha: https://thedailysicha.com/?date=06-08-2024

PM me!Sicha Summary NotesEver had a moment where you were really stuck in your own challenge? In this month of Menachem Av, we comfort Hashem for the pain He is in.There are 2 dimensions of Hashem's pain of being in golus1. Shchina is with the yidden in Golus. When we experience our Geulah it is Hashem's Geulah. Our neshamos are always Godly, no choice there, but our bodies - that dont reflect godliness, those Hashem chose! When we are physically (body) in golus, so is Hashem.2. Like a king who said to his servants, if you are looking for me, I am going to be next to my son. What is deeper about this that is being added?Differentiation! Jewish Mothers - we get it! Where my kid is, that's where Ill be.2 different situationsThe father feels obvious cherishing of the child, bringing nachas! Warm fuzzy feeling, my delicious child, i'm with them! - neshama part of the yid, nachas producer, neshama is never affected by the golusRebbe adding! This is also true when it comes to the body. The body does NOT show Hashem. It looks just as coarse as other bodies. Mashal - if you are looking for me, I am going to be with my son. Ya this is my kid, i go with him everywhere he is at. Hashem is with us in our tumah. Essential connectionOnly in the Jewish Body (vs soul) do you see the connection of Hashems essence. I'm with my kid. Period.Hashem is ALWAYS with us. Menachem Av - Hashem is here as the father to his child.Level 1 nachas connection - neshama experienceLevel 2 essential connection - body experience Taking this even deeper...We also suffer loss, How can we comfort Hashem? The greatness of what the child can do > parentsLike a blue eyed child born from brown eyed parents, the child reveals a recessive gene his parents have, but did not display. You have incredible power! Show up with all the emunah, all the positivity - WOW! This was always there in Hashem but not expressed until a Yid does this.We have the ability through our physical struggles, we are bringing out a koiach always there in Hashem - that had not yet been brought out.All of us showing up in Mitzvos, Torah, we are bringing out Hashems “recessive DNA”. there is no such thing as a ME struggle - don't ever feel alone, you are Hashems essence being expressed. Feel empowered! We can define the golus, tap into incredible koiach, Hashems essence pumping through us. Shift to new approach: Moshiach!(Chelek chof Gimmul page 214)

2) על משה רבינו אמר הקב"ה [בשביעי דפ' בהעלותך] "בכל ביתי נאמן הוא", כי הוא הי' עבד נאמן ובטל בתכלית לה' בלי שום מציאות לעצמו ולכן "סמך" עליו הקב"ה שבדרך ממילא יכוון לרצונו, ואת הביטול הזה מוריש משה רבינו לכאו"א שיעשה את כל דבר הקשור עם רצונו ית' בקבלת עול עד שזהו הטבע שלו ועושה א"ז בדרך ממילא!1) משיחת כ' מנחם-אב ה'תשל"ז 2) משיחת פורים ה'תשכ"א ל"הנחה פרטית" או התרגום ללה"ק של השיחה: https://thedailysicha.com/?date=20-06-2024 Synopsis (1) On the verse, “And the man Moshe was very humble, more so than any person on the face of the earth” [in shevi'i of Behaalosecha], it is explained in maamarim that Moshe felt humble particularly compared to the generation of the footsteps of Moshiach, because he felt that for someone of his stature, and in his position, to study Torah etc., can't compare to someone studying Torah etc. despite living in the conditions that will prevail in the time leading up to Moshiach etc. Therefore, one should not underestimate any deed done in our times, no matter how small it may seem, because we cannot know Hashem's calculations. This also explains why, although “this generation – is it worthy?” – the task of finally bringing Moshiach was specifically given to our generation, and “the work is called by the name of the one who completes it.” (2) Hashem says regarding Moshe Rabbeinu, “In all My house, he is faithful;” Moshe was a faithful servant who was totally nullified to Hashem, without any separate identity of his own, and therefore Hashem trusted that Moshe's will would align automatically with Hashem's will. Moshe instills this degree of self-nullification to every Jew – the ability to do everything related to Hashem's will with kabbolas ol, to the point that it becomes one's nature and he does it automatically.Excerpts from (1) sichah of 20 Menachem-Av 5737; (2) Purim 5721 For a transcript in English of the Sicha: https://thedailysicha.com/?date=20-06-2024 לזכות ר' מאיר שמחה בן הינדא ומרת דבורה בת רבקה שיחיוליום הנישואין שלהם י"ד סיוןנדבת ר' ברוך ומרת טובה שיחיו חזנוב

ד' חלקים משיחת כ"ף מנחם-אב ה'תשמ"א ל"הנחה פרטית" או התרגום ללה"ק של השיחה: https://thedailysicha.com/?date=13-10-2023 Synopsis One of the methods of Torah study is the method of “Do not read…but” (which doesn't negate the plain meaning of the verse, but rather adds to it). We find this method at the very beginning of the Torah, on the verse Bereishis bara Elokim: Our Sages stated, “Do not read it as Bereishis, but bara shis (‘He created a foundation')”. In terms of Divine service: at the beginning of one's Divine service, a person sees a world – heaven and earth etc. And we tell him, “Do not read it as Bereishis,” that the world exists independently chas v'shalom, but rather “bara shis” – that the world has a “Creator” and He created the world on a shis, a foundation – and the foundation is the “shitin,” under the mizbeach in the Beis Hamikdash! Likewise, Jewish education in general must be in this manner of “Do not read it…rather”: When a person sees the world around him and engages in it, he must remember that “I and Your people are distinguished from every nation on the face of the earth” – not everything one sees on the street that appears pleasant is good for a Jew. Rather, “do not read it” that way – don't look at its appearance on the surface; look at what it says about it in Shulchan Aruch! When Jewish education is this way, the entire house is engulfed in this spirit – such that even when a Jew engages in sowing and reaping etc. – he “does not read it” as something one does because those are the rules of nature; rather, he sows and reaps because he “believes in the One Who lives forever”!Four excepts from sicha of 20 Menachem-Av 5741 For a transcript in English of the Sicha: https://thedailysicha.com/?date=13-10-2023 לזכות התמים אברהם שמואל בן הדסה שי' סלונים לרגל הכנסו לגיל המצוות כ"ח תשרי ה'תשפ"ד.

With Elul approaching, what are some practical things we can do to end the year on a high note and begin the new year with the proper inspiration? What does “the king is in the field” practically mean? Lessons from Shoftim Why does the Torah command us to install a physical king in Israel when we have G-d as our true King? Why does the Torah prohibit kings from having more horses than they need? What is today's equivalent of a “city of refuge”? Does eglah arufah teach us that a community is responsible for the hurt and abuse that occurs in the area of their jurisdiction? What can we learn from the wildfires that have ravaged Hawaii, killing and injuring many people? How should I deal with my son who thinks he might be gay?
