This episode is the usual ramble for Friday, touching on the people of Wisconsin’s propensity to make Old Fashioneds with brandy and also eating raw ground beef sandwiches. But first, Brendan and Andy begin with the Thursday Charlie Woods show and the many hard-won impressions and aggregations that populated the internet thereafter. They take issue with some of it and try to distinguish what’s appropriate coverage of an 11-year-old who has entered a publicly broadcast event. A new segment, ProSet Fridays, is an edification on former Tour pro David Peoples. Over on the CME, Natalie Gulbis is in last place while Lexi is back on top after social media denigration of an image of her swing last week. News runs through the 2021 Euro Tour schedule and some of the new events that pique their interest. Then, the final 10 minutes or so kicks off the annual SGS Year In Review series, teasing it with a look back at the 2020 Tournament of Champions. They recall the “gusted” controversy, infamous tweets from Chris DiMarco and PXG, heckles of “Cheater!,” and the hot mic “pampered fucks” commentary.

This Wednesday episode begins with some quick Browns bloodletting following their eventful MNF loss before transitioning to a PNC Championship discussion that’s probably 15 minutes too long. There’s “research” on past winners, the current field, a potential catnip battle for the ages, and dream parent-child pairings that should be in the field in the future. The long driver hitting an 8-iron 300 yards with Bryson giddily looking on also comes up for some reason. The event of the week is an MLGT staple, the Trilogy, which gets a thorough preview and field review. The LPGA’s season-ender is also discussed, including the outrage around Natalie Gulbis getting a sponsor’s exemption while the reigning Women’s British Open champion sits at home, which also happens to be down the street from this event. They close with some brief discussion of the newly released Euro Tour schedule and rumors that Spieth is seeing Butch.

He feels that Tiger is the Greatest Player of All times at the age of 37. Foley feels that his key to helping his "students" succeed is giving them access to their abilities. Caddy For A Cure, Inc., the professional golf opportunity of a lifetime to go inside the ropes and caddy for a day, is offering another LPGA opportunity for THREE of the biggest superstars in women’s golf, Natalie Gulbis, Paula Creamer, and Brittany Lincicome. The caddie opportunities will be on Thursday, August 18th during the Kraft Pro-Am round preceding competition at the SAFEWAY CLASSIC presented by Coca Cola. The tournament is being played at the Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club in North Plains, Oregon just outside of Portland. Caddy For A Cure offers PGA TOUR and LPGA Tour caddy opportunities through its website ( www.caddyforacure.com ) and linked auctions. 100% of auction proceeds are donated to charity. We launched our program with the LPGA last year and had a great experience. All three of these players are not only known for their stellar play throughout their careers, but are also three of the biggest fan favorites in all of golf." He continued, "Also great about these opportunities is that they are being coordinated with one of the tournament’s presenting media partners, Alpha Broadcasting, who owns 6 radio properties in Portland and a statewide network reaching 18 markets outside of Portland. Alpha Broadcasting is promoting these exciting opportunities through their station Sportsradio AM 750, The Game ( www.750thegame.com ). The German sportswear company he founded, adidas (an amalgam of his nickname, "Adi," and the first three letters of his last name), marked the 60th anniversary with a special collection of golf apparel, as worn by Sergio Garcia in the U.S. Open this past June 2009.adidas’s exuberant branding reflects the sea change in golf fashion, from classicism to athleticism. Until recent years, golf has shied away from graphic displays on clothing, rooted as the sport is in genteel, country club tradition.adidas has long been torn about using their well-known trademark in an overt way on golf clothing. For many years when the company did put the three-stripe logo on golf shirts, it was only in a tone-on-tone color scheme—blue embroidery on a blue shirt, for instance. It was there but not there.Currently, the company is expanding its branding of other apparel, emphasizing the guiding philosophy of its founder Dassler, who equipped Jesse Owens with his track spikes for the 1936 Olympics. The idea has always been the development of specific performance clothing for each sport —to help athletes do their best. "We believe golf is a sport," said Tiss Dahan, senior director of global apparel for Adidas Golf.
