TSN1040's Jeff Paterson says except for the Nashville game where they scored five PP goals, the Canucks are hurting for goals and could use a boost. Jeff say Nikolay Goldobin won't be the savior but he thinks offence and creates it and should have a jump after getting the call up.
TSN1040's Jeff Paterson says with the 5 on 5 scoring struggles for the Canucks, he hopes Nikolay Goldobin gets in and is put in an offensive role. Jeff says Goldobin comes in feeling it in the AHL & he'd be tempted to put Goldobin directly on a line with Elias Pettersson and Brock Boeser.
The Province's Ben Kuzma says the Canucks aren't recalling Nikolay Goldobin to have him sit in the press box. Ben says if they play Goldobin in a top six roll & want to keep size in the line-up by moving Zack MacEwen to the fourth line, that means Loui Eriksson would the odd man out.
