Sommer 2024: Dustin Brown und ich sitzen in einer engen Kommentatorenkabine am Centre Court von Wimbledon. Durch die Scheibe können wir den heiligen Rasen sehen, auf dem er 2015 sensationell gegen Rafael Nadal gewonnen hatte. Dustin bindet sich seine Dreadlocks zurück und zeigt mir die tätowierte Erdbeere auf seinem Oberarm. Dann sind wir live. Ein halbes Jahr später wird Dustin 40 Jahre alt und läutet das Ende seiner internationalen Tenniskarriere ein. Eine Karriere, die es so nicht noch einmal geben wird. In dieser Folge steige ich imaginär in den berühmten Camper von damals, mit dem Dustin von Turnier zu Turnier gefahren ist. Wir starten vor der Schuhsammlung im heutigen Wohnzimmer und fahren den langen Weg zurück.
