After a busy weekend of Rugby League, we're back, and so is Schoey as we discuss the great performance from Catalans Dragons to make it to the Challenge Cup Final. More live Rugby League commentary on Proper Sport, and once again we were live from the John Smith's Stadium, home of one of the form teams in the competition, Huddersfield Giants. Visitors Wakefield Trinity, another side who confirmed their Super 8s spot and Super League survival last weekend, were entering the contest having taken Hull FC apart last weekend, but knocking a Huddersfield side who beat Cas Tigers away last Friday evening would prove too much of an ask... Giants raced into a two try lead before Wakefield got themselves going. However, the game was arguably beyond them before the close of the first half as the 30 - 10 scoreline looked daunting. Despite three late converted tries for Wakfefield, this game belonged to Huddersfield, who continue the remarkable honeymoon period under Simon Woolford. Their sixth win in seven to close out the regular season will perhaps bring them out of the shadows even more, they really are flying. Jermaine McGilvary was again a hot shot performer with a hat-trick, but Danny Brough was excellent too, with precise kicking to finish 6/7 Final score: Huddersfield Giants 40- 28 Wakefield Trinity Commentary by Mark Walker and Garry Schofield
No Schoey this week, so our favourite Aussie John Davidson joined us to talk Rugby League on Proper Sport, with plenty to talk about as Hull FC get stuffed at Wakefield meaning Leeds will play in the Qualifiers, but we still don't know who against as the top four race hots up. As the split for the Super 8s edges that bit closer, Huddersfield welcomed Super League's second-placed side Wigan to the John Smith's Stadium with the Giants hoping for a second home win in a row & Warriors looking to keep the pressure on runaway leaders St. Helens. Huddersfield had the better of Wigan from the off as McIntosh bagged another brace and the home side's defence kept Wigan at bay. A frantic first half was enough for Simon Woolford's men, who controlled the second period, only needing the one four pointer before the cherry and whites managed a late consolation. The only concern for Giants may be an off night of kicking for Danny Brough but Huddersfield will be much more focused on their impressive form in the season's twilight that leaves them comfortable in the top eight, level on points with sixth-placed Catalans. Proper Sport's commentary team of Mick Gledhill and Garry Schofield brought you the action in this lively affair. Final score: Huddersfield Giants 20 - 12 Wigan Warriors

The last event before WrestleMania; Fastlane 2018 is this Sunday how will the #WWE fare as they gear #SDLive up for the biggest event of the year? Monday Night #Raw gave us a taster of what we expect to see at Mania from Ronda Rousey and Stephanie McMahon, with the plan for the Rowdy One to elevate Steph's status - will this be anything like Vince facing Stone Cold in the Attitude Era? Probably not. SmackDown Live geared up for their final single-branded pay-per-view by adding John Cena to the WWE Championship match making it a six-pack challenge. Neither Rich or Tom are overly looking forward to the show but would love to be surprised by a good show! Richard shows Tom 'Big Sexy' Kevin Nash as the Wizard of Oz in WCW, on Raw the Monster Among Men Braun Strowman smashed a double bass over Elias, that's about the only thing you need to know from the red brand last week. SmackDown continues the stagnate despite adding two names into the #WWE title picture. Single brand pay-per-views are coming to an end after Fast Lane, is this good for the quality of shows but bad for the talent? The lads discuss that PLUS Richard's new favourite wrestling theme: The Elite. THE THE ELITE!

It's been 25 years since #WWE introduced the weekly wrestling programme Monday Night Raw and with the celebration of #Raw25, Tom & Rich take a look back at some of the best moments of the past 1,286 episodes. Mick Foley winning the championship, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon getting married, Dolph Ziggler cashing in, Roman Reigns' five word promo, Chris Jericho's debut, Daniel Bryan's Yes Movement occupies the ring and so many more moments have entertained wrestling fans for 25 years on #Raw. Is Jinder's push done and dusted thanks to the golden shovel of Triple H in New Delhi? Plenty to sink our teeth into with Tom Maguire and Richard Shaw-Wright on this week's edition of Proper Sport does WWE.
Who is the "best in the world"; is it NJPW's Kenny Omega or WWE veteran Chris Jericho? We'll find out at Wrestle Kingdom 12 in January. It's shaken the wrestling community into a storm as IWGP United States Heavyweight Champion Kenny Omega has accepted a challenge for a match against future WWE Hall of Famer 'Y2J' Chris Jericho at New Japan Pro Wrestling's biggest event of the year. But should Jericho be allowed to cross over to another company? Survivor Series is taking shape and Shane McMahon and Kurt Angle will be the male team captains, hopefully avoiding panes of glass. Could John Cena be making a special guest referee appereacne too? Proper Sport's resident wrestling "experts" Tom Maguire & Richard Shaw-Wright discuss all that and much more on this week's PS does WWE.
*Cue the best theme in wrestling today* The Glorious One Bobby Roode speaks to Proper Sport on this week's edition of PS does #WWE! Much to the disappointment of many fans, the WWE has released Emma from her contract meaning so is no longer a part of the company. Tom & Rich discuss it being a shame and it possibly being the start of a cull of the current talent. TLC saw Kurt Angle return to in-ring action for the first time in WWE in 11 years, did the olympian make a grand return or did the main event drag on too long? Plus is SmackDown vs Raw at Survivor Series already looking poor? Richard argues it is, Tom isn't so sure. A jam packed podcast with wrestling chat and an interview with Bobby Roode on this week's PS doe WWE.

Sad news this week about Bobby 'The Brain' Heenan who passed away, a true entertainer in the world of wrestling he will be missed. No Mercy 2017 is about to happen and we're getting two big matches as Cena takes on Reigns and Lesnar faces Strowman, is Raw's event worth watching on the Network though? SmackDown sees Kevin Owens and Shane McMahon fire even more shots at each other, whilst the WWE championship picture is being neglected? Trying their best to avoid spoilers Tom & Rich review the first round of the Mae Young Classic! The first ever all-women's tournament the WWE has hosted kicked off on the Network with the first four episodes available to stream and there has been some stellar matches put on. Any potential stars for Vince McMahon's big brand? Plus after a couple of weeks of to-ing and fro-ing about female wrestling characters, are they essentially split into just two genres? Rich says yes, Tom says no, we don't solve the debate here but we finally discuss it a bit more on this week's Proper Sport does WWE!
Have we seen the best head-to-head of the year as John Cena verbally destroys Roman Reigns? Tom & Rich discuss Raw had a pretty decent showing this week with the true highlight coming in the shape of a 'contract signing' between Cena and Reigns. Plus who else is excited for Brauny vs Brocky?! SmackDown's looking good too with Bobby Roode looking like a Triple H, Ric Flair & Rick-Rude love child. Shelton Benjamin putting 40-year-olds across the world to shame. But do we need Kevin Owens vs Shane McMahon? Also Tom & Rich discuss their visit to WCPW's show Stacked 17! All that and more discussed on this week's Proper Sport does WWE.
