Auch vor einhundert Jahren mochten offensichtlich nicht alle mit ihren Gratulationen bis zum Stichtag warten. Die Schiffbeker Zeitung etwa würdigte den Jubilar bereits drei Tage vorab, am 22. Oktober, und ob Strauß die Elogen, die ihm da gewunden wurden, so recht gewesen wären, sei einmal dahingestellt. Vielleicht konnte die Musikpublizistik damals einfach nicht anders, aber das höchste Lob, zu dem sich der Artikel emporschwingt, sind Parallelen zwischen der Fledermaus und des ‘größten deutschen Meisters‘ Richard Wagners Meistersingern von Nürnberg, welche hier allen Ernstes gezogen werden. Selon la FMOQ, le gouvernement Legault est intransigeant sur l'application du projet de loi 106, qui prévoit fixer une partie de la rémunération en fonction de la performance. «Québec et les médecins c'est toujours l'impasse, ils sont toujours incapables de s'entendre. [...] Les médecins de famille demandent encore une fois l'arbitrage et vont cesser d'enseigner aux étudiants à partir de maintenant.
