3151 Ärger mit Dienstleister Eben komme ich gerade von einem Telefonat mit einem Dienstleister. Ein rotzfrecher Typ am Telefon. Wirklich rotzfrech. Und ich habe dann höflich zu ihm gesagt: Das und das ist zu beheben. Da sind Mängel vorhanden. Als Dienstleister. Sehr nett, sehr höflich. „Nein, geht nicht. Das macht nur der Chef. Und der ist bis 17. im Urlaub." Ich mache gar nichts. Aber es gibt doch einen Meister. Der hat das doch gemacht. Der kann das doch wieder in Ordnung bringen. „Nein, kann er nicht. Reklamationen macht nur der Chef. Seien Sie jetzt geduldig. Da warten Sie drauf. Und sonst lassen Sie es doch einfach schocken." Wir sprechen hier von 20.000 Euro. Da will ich doch alles daran setzen, dass der Kunde zufrieden ist mit der Dienstleistung. Aber solche super Leute am Telefon machen dir mehr kaputt. Die zerstören dir alles. Im ersten Affekt wollte ich sofort eine Ein-Punkte-Bewertung bei Google machen. Ich wollte dann sofort eine böse Mail schreiben. Dann habe ich mir gedacht: Nein, auf dieses Niveau lässt du dich jetzt einfach nicht herunter. Ich bin ja Gott sei Dank in der glücklichen Lage: Ich habe noch nichts bezahlt. Also alles gut. Dann tun wir es halt einfach auf den 16. Jetzt kannst du wieder sagen: Das ist aber auch nicht schön und so. Weißt du was? Wenn der Meister noch da ist und nur der Chef im Urlaub ist, dann kann doch der Meister die ersten kleinen Mängel beheben, oder? Das kann man doch machen. Mit dem Chef kann man dann das Große anschauen. Aber nicht einfach nur sagen: Da geht jetzt gar nichts. Klare Anweisungen. Das kann ich so nicht stehen lassen. Das ist mir egal. Wissen Sie was? Ich diskutiere jetzt hier nicht mehr länger mit Ihnen. Machen Sie, was Sie wollen. Was für eine Kompetenz haben die Leute? Und dann steige ich aus. Ich steige einfach aus. Weil ich keine Lust habe, mit solchen hochqualifizierten Leuten am Telefon herumzudiskutieren. Mache ich nicht. Mache ich einfach nicht. Und jetzt warten wir einfach mal ab. Es geht hier nicht darum, andere Leute schlechtzumachen. Und warum mache ich das gerade hier im Podcast? Damit du einfach in die Reflexion gehen kannst und mal überprüfst: Wie ist es denn in deiner Firma? Wie läuft es in deiner Firma ab? Hast du auch so komische Leute am Telefon? Die meinen, die Leute sind ganz nett. Ja, ganz nett reicht heute nicht mehr. Du musst die Menschen begeistern. Du musst sie echt begeistern, dass die Leute sagen: Boah, wie geil ist denn das? Da gehe ich gerne hin. Was werde ich jetzt machen? Ich werde diese Firma mit Sicherheit nie mehr empfehlen. In keinster Art und Weise. Ich habe jetzt im Moment Namen nicht genannt, aber das wird auch noch kommen. Ich mag kein Bashing machen, aber weißt du: Freude. Das erste Wort, das man sagen könnte: „Oh, Herr Crameri, das tut mir sehr, sehr leid. Das ist aber wirklich nicht in Ordnung. Wir schauen, dass wir das lösen." Nimm doch dem Kunden schon mal den Wind aus den Segeln. Dann sagt er: Okay, jetzt müssen wir schauen, wie wir das Ganze lösen. Aber einfach zu sagen: „Reklamation macht nur der Chef. Der ist jetzt im Urlaub. Der ist erst am 17. Juli wieder da." Und wir haben heute den 1. Juli. Also letztendlich die ersten 17 Tage gar nichts. Obwohl es Freitag ist, ist die Frage, ob er da ist oder erst dann am Montag. Man hätte auch sagen können: „Wissen Sie was? Ich setze mich für Sie ein. Ich melde mich nachher." Verstehst du? Und dann wäre doch die Sache gut gewesen. Aber gleich dagegenhalten? Muss der einen Machtkampf mit mir machen? Hat der Frust zu Hause mit seiner Familie? Hat er sonst irgendwie Frust? Muss er das am Kunden ausleben? Ja, kann man machen. Kann man einfach machen. Aber damit verliert man einfach. Und ich kann einfach nur eines sagen: Viele Chefs checken das einfach nicht. Denen ist das nicht bewusst. „Oha, da war wieder ein unzufriedener Kunde. Der hat wieder gemotzt. Also ein blöder Mann." Ja, ist nicht schlimm. Ein Kunde ist blöd. Der zweite. Der dritte. Der vierte. Der fünfte. Plötzlich sind es zehn Kunden. Plötzlich zwanzig Kunden. Und plötzlich wundert man sich: Jetzt ist alles anders geworden. Jetzt läuft halt alles nicht mehr. Ja, dann fang doch mal bei dir an. Und wenn du magst: Ich mache auch VIP-Coaching und Beratungen für Firmen. Ich mache immer wieder Mystery-Tests. Und du bist erstaunt. Du wirst erstaunt sein, wie schlecht es bei manchen Firmen wirklich ist. In diesem Sinne. Ist also das Sondervermögen für Infrastruktur doch nur Augenwischerei und eben nicht der ‚süße Brei‘ für die Immobilienbranche? Björn arbeitet seit Jahren direkt mit Kommunen und sieht, wie das Sondervermögen nun in der Praxis ankommt: Leider viel zu langsam, als langwieriger Prozess, der durch Verfahren, Vorgaben und fehlende Grundlagen geprägt ist. Die Mittel stehen bereit, treffen jedoch auf ein System, in dem beispielsweise die losweise Vergabe weiterhin der Regelfall ist. Gleichzeitig wächst der Druck, Abläufe anders zu organisieren: gebündelt über Total- und Generalunternehmer, mit weniger Schnittstellen und kürzeren Wegen. Ergänzend kommen Public Private Partnership und Investorenverfahren hinzu, vor allem dort, wo Städte und Gemeinden nicht selbst entwickeln können, weil Flächen fehlen oder sich nicht sichern lassen. In diesen Konstellationen verschiebt sich die wirtschaftliche Logik. Private Partner kalkulieren mit Rendite, während viele Kommunen ihre eigenen Aufwände nur eingeschränkt abbilden können, beispielsweise bei den Betreiberkosten für Immobilien. Entscheidungen entstehen unter Unsicherheit, innerhalb enger rechtlicher Vorgaben und begrenzter Spielräume. Und genau an diesem Punkt wird Veränderung schwierig. „Wenn man den Status quo ändern möchte, dann gibt es halt immer jemanden, der dagegen ist.“

Mehr als Einsatz und Übung Feuerwehrarbeit besteht längst nicht mehr nur aus Einsatz, Übung und Kameradschaft. Wer heute eine Wehr führt, muss Menschen führen, Ausbildung organisieren, Technik im Blick behalten, politische Erwartungen bedienen und gleichzeitig eine wachsende Zahl an Verwaltungsaufgaben stemmen. Verantwortung braucht Nachweise Haushaltsplanung, Feuerwehrbedarfsplanung, Gefährdungsbeurteilungen, Dienstnachweise, Beschaffungsvorgänge, Dokumentationen und Online-Portale sind nicht einfach lästiger Papierkram. Vieles davon schützt Verantwortung, schafft Transparenz und verhindert Willkür. Das Problem beginnt dort, wo Verwaltung nicht mehr unterstützt, sondern Führung verdrängt. Wenn Führung in der Vorschriftenwüste hängen bleibt In dieser Folge geht es nicht um pauschales Bürokratie-Bashing. Es geht um die ehrliche Frage, wie Feuerwehr, Kommune und Führungskräfte handlungsfähig bleiben, wenn Nachweispflichten, Vorschriften und Abstimmungen immer mehr Raum einnehmen. Was muss dokumentiert werden? Was kann standardisiert werden? Wo entstehen Doppelarbeiten? Und wie schützen wir die Zeit, die Führung für Menschen, Ausbildung, Konfliktklärung und Einsatzbereitschaft braucht? Die bessere Frage lautet nicht, wie werden wir Verwaltung los, sondern wie organisieren wir Verwaltung so, dass sie Verantwortung absichert und Feuerwehrführung nicht lähmt?

I've never been on a sickness benefit. But I imagine that, for anyone who is, the government telling you what you can and can‘t spend your benefit money on, and spying on you to make sure you toe the line would be pretty degrading. Tell that to the ACT Party, though. Not only that. In this policy announced yesterday, instead of your own GP signing you off for the sickness benefit, you'd need to see a government-approved doctor. Which sounds a bit like ACC, doesn't it? Last week, when we were talking about ACC, people were telling us about their dealings with ACC's own doctors and how it felt like their main priority was turning people down. Which is exactly what it would be like under this system David Seymour wants to introduce for the sickness benefit. He says a person's GP or specialist would still be able to provide medical history details, clinical notes and supporting evidence. But it would be doctors employed by the government who would decide whether someone qualifies. And we know what would happen, don't we? More and more people would be turned away. We know that, because the only reason David Seymour wants to make these changes, is to get less people on the benefit. David Seymour says these government-employed doctors would have one job. Getting people back to work. Which sounds all kind and supportive. But I don't buy that for a minute. Then there's this bit where he wants to stop paying the sickness benefit into people's bank accounts. Instead, the benefit would go onto a payment card that would track how the money is spent and wouldn't let people spend it on alcohol, gambling and tobacco, or get cash out. This would kick-in after someone has been on the benefit for four months. I'm not sure which of these two ideas is worse. Getting through the hoops with these government-employed doctors, as I say, sounds like ACC all over again. But I actually think telling people what they're allowed to spend the benefit money on and forcing them to use this special card that would be monitored by the government would be nothing short of degrading.
